She went day one and was a little reluctant to leave me husband and I, but by the end of the day when it was time to go home she refused to leave and have been wanting to stay daily after school. The summer camp is very proficient and well planned out. The have been going on a lot of trips that are included in tuition. The trips are not limited to just having fun but also things like museum's for history knowledge to our young people. I tilt my hat off to all the staff at Clinton Christian School to accepting my daughter to the family and making her feel at home away from home. I am excited and looking forward to great successful upcoming school year.

I never felt like it was a daycare. She was always learning something new each day! I enrolled her in summer camp, which she really enjoyed, especially since she is an only child. My daughter took music lessons for the violin. I was amazed at her teacher's instructions and guidance. She not only taught my daughter how to play the violin, but to also read and write music; very impressive! We had bus service for morning pickup. Always on time, friendly driver who always provided a warm greeting. We had aftercare, so I picked her up. Unfortunately, during pickup my daughter would almost be in tears. I generally had to wait until the last kid left before she would want to go home. I didn't want to force her to leave her friends and go home to no child to play with. I always received assurance from the teachers that everything would be fine. They were. This is a top-notched school who cares about their students and their learning process. Although my daughter is much older, I had to circle back and give this review. Every dime I spent on my daughter's education, care and spiritual guidance given at Clinton Christian was well worth it. Anytime your child clings to her teacher at the end of the school year because she's going to miss her says a lot.

In response to the owner's reply: it seems this company always has an excuse for the way COA…read moreChildcare is run. The director was fully aware of what was happening--that's the most troubling part. Even with cameras in place, it's clear the higher-ups aren't reviewing them, or else they would have seen multiple incidents: a teacher left alone with seven infants, and even a school-age child placed in the infant classroom. These are not minor mistakes--these are serious violations. It's no surprise that parents are withdrawing their children for reasons just like this. I personally know several parents who are urgently looking for new childcare to get their children out of this center. How this place continues to operate while violating so many rules is beyond me. Parents, please be aware--this company shows a disturbing lack of accountability. Their response is nothing more than excuses piled on top of excuses, as if we don't have the ability to screen-record or screenshot proof directly from the cameras.

The reviews for this center are extremely misleading and appear to come largely from friends or…read moreassociates of the staff. My child no longer attends this daycare, and I'm writing not only from my own experience but also on behalf of parents I personally know who are actively searching for new childcare because they are trying to remove their infants from this facility. I genuinely do not understand how this center is still operating. Staff turnover is constant, and it's not hard to see why. Employees are treated poorly, and I have never encountered a daycare that does not allow staff to leave the building at all during their lunch breaks. Expecting employees to remain inside all day without fresh air or a real break is unreasonable and contributes directly to burnout and high turnover. Another major concern is supervision. There have been instances where a school bus driver was watching infants, despite not being a certified classroom teacher. That alone should raise serious red flags for any parent. Illness is also a recurring issue. Children are frequently sick, and it's clear why toys are not properly cleaned. They are simply put away and reused the next day. When concerns are raised, parents are met with nothing but excuses and deflection rather than accountability. This center puts on a polished front when it's time to enroll new families, but once you're in, the reality is very different. The fact that they continue enrolling children despite being severely understaffed speaks volumes. It is evident that profit is being prioritized over safety, staffing, and basic care standards. Let's not mention the treatment of the kids. Being left to cry in their cribs and you can't really blame all of the teachers there are maybe two good ones! But when they are overwhelmed and have way too many infants it's only but so much they can do. The staff to child ratio is never right which is a complete violation! I have also had former employees confide in me about the treatment they experienced while working here, which only further confirmed my concerns. At the end of the day, all I can say is this: don't let the reviews or the director fool you. What you're promised is not what you get. Unfortunately, many parents don't realize this until they've already enrolled. I'm already expecting a response filled with excuses and a complete lack of accountability, because that is the pattern here. This is exactly how concerns are handled nothing ever gets fixed. Parents are met with excuse after excuse, denial, and deflection instead of real solutions or meaningful change! This also appears to be a broader pattern across multiple Children of America locations, not just this one. When the focus becomes how many children can be enrolled rather than staffing appropriately, maintaining safety standards, and having a genuine interest in the well-being of the children, these issues are bound to happen. Unfortunately, that seems to be exactly what's going on here! Everything feels like a front for parents. The director is known for minimizing concerns, downplaying serious issues, and attempting to "smooth things over" to save face rather than actually addressing the root of the problems. Safety concerns are brushed aside, staffing shortages are normalized, and accountability is avoided all in the name of maintaining enrollment numbers.

Honestly, it's really hard to trust a service like this with your baby, especially in a city away from home. I had a few things in place so I could keep an eye on my daughter throughout the day, and because of that, I know she was genuinely well cared for. Alison from The Educated Babysitter was great. She arrived on time, took my daughter on walks outside, changed diapers, and kept her happy and comfortable throughout the day. By the second day, even the hotel staff knew my baby and would stop to say hi. The only reason I'm taking the time to write this review is because I know there are other moms in similar situations trying to balance work travel and motherhood, and trusted childcare like this can make all the difference.

The grounds were clean and well-kept overall. The only area that appeared to need some attention was portions of the foam safety surface beneath the playground equipment. In my experience, my biggest fear was that the school would change its approach halfway through the…read moreschool year, and unfortunately, that's exactly what happened. I felt that my concerns about racial harassment and discrimination involving children of color were not taken seriously. In my opinion, there was a lack of transparency and accountability from the administration, and I often felt that issues were minimized rather than addressed. I also felt that many staff members had close personal or family ties to the church community, which made it difficult for families outside of those circles to feel heard or supported. While the school presents itself as welcoming and student-focused, my experience was very different. I felt that promises made to our family were not honored and that tuition became the priority over the well-being of students. Based on my experience, I would encourage families--especially families of color--to ask detailed questions, pay close attention to how concerns are handled, and make sure the school's values align with their own before enrolling. I sincerely pray for healing, accountability, and positive change for the school community. God bless everyone involved. FYI Reviews were turned off, via Ms Krestler request. Think About It!!!!

At the time of this review, my kids are 6 and 9 (1st and 3rd grades). Both have attended the school since Kindergarten. My 6 yr old also attended Pre-K at Holy Redeemer. We were first drawn to HRS for its reputation in our neighborhood as being a welcoming school with a firm anti-bullying stance. The teachers and administration work hard to maintain a supportive learning environment where students feel welcome and wanted. What sets HRS apart from other area schools is its small class sizes, its balanced and integrated STEM curriculum, and its committment to developing the whole person. HRS students are some of the nicest kids I have ever met -- kind, excited about service opportunities, curious about their world, eager to help each other, excited about math! The teachers here are incredible educators that encourage collaboration and inspire a joyful curiousity in their students. What I love most about the school is how the teachers (due to the small class sizes and their tenure at the school) really know and look out for my kids. This personal attention has really helped my kids to thrive -- both academically and personally. I also work in a STEM field, and the administration and teachers are very open and receptive to my recommendations of activities/extra-curriculars. They have also granted me many opportunities to share my organization's work with the students - which is so fun! In short -- if you are looking for a welcoming school where your child can get a phenomenal eduction in a safe environment, please join us!

So in order to make it to the doctors, it meant 2.5hrs that I had to find care for my child during my work day. Two of my kids arrived to camp with a lollipop (not great i know, but trying to accommodate the 9am pickup with an 8am work start means things slip!) and was told lollipops were not allowed and they didn't have a trashcan to throw it away in! the owner of the camp tried to tell my son to put it on the seat in my car! so i paid $1275 for my three kids to attend camp and they could not accommodate an early pickup, wouldn't throw away a lollipop they wouldn't allow, and they had to stay home today due to potential thunderstorms that so far have not come to fruition. I've had the kids in this camp for 3 years bc I wanted them to have different experiences and they take toddlers, but I'm really frustrated and disappointed in the lack of accommodation and lack of value for the cost. we will certainly not be going back. save your money! there are tons of great camps around that are less expensive and tons of fun with great, accommodating staff.
