Their pictures on the website looked gorgeous. The owner helped me arrange for the delivery. She patiently listened to what I wanted and was extremely helpful in steering me to the right flowers for the person and the occasion. I set a budget and she worked within that. The flowers were delivered next day and they're stunning. They look much more beautiful than I could have imagined. Truly their floral arranger is an artist. Sammy's is my go-to for flowers. I will drive across town to visit them!…read more They've got a small parking lot that can be tricky to get to since they're on busy Burnside. Most recently, I stopped in to pick up a bouquet for a friend's birthday. I gave an approximate budget, a preferred color palette, and they went to work at the bouquet bar. Halfway through I remembered it needed to be cat-safe and they remade most of it for me! Staff makes pleasant conversation while working, and it's fun to see what others come in to pickup. They have options for color of the paper wrap, and they also have small cards with care info. It turned out lovely and it's so fun to be a participant in the creation process.

Their selection is impressive for a local shop -- they do a wonderful job with both elegant bouquets and whimsical, festival-style arrangements. Everything I ordered looked far better in person than in the photos: colors were vibrant, stems were well hydrated, and the arrangements lasted nicely for days. What stands out is the staff's attention to detail and willingness to personalize. The team asked great questions about the recipient and the occasion and suggested thoughtful substitutions when an item was out of season. Pricing is reasonable for the quality, though specialty designs can run toward the higher side -- understandable for hand-crafted work, but worth noting if you're on a tight budget. Sammy's Flowers is a dependable, creative florist with friendly service and excellent florals. I love going in and getting flowers arranged. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a personal touch and long-lasting blooms.

The flowers that were delivered were extremely disappointing. They looked nothing like the pictures and were, at best, maybe a $75 arrangement. The florist never told me they had low inventory that day and couldn't make what I requested, even though he had promised he could. A few days later, they texted me for a review. I called the store to try and resolve the issue directly. A woman asked me to text a picture of the arrangement and said her manager would call me back the next day. No one called. When I followed up with a text, she was super rude, telling me not to contact her personal phone, which she was the one who gave me. I had to call the store again. I spoke to the original person who took my order, and he admitted they had been discussing it. He offered only a 20% discount and finally admitted they couldn't fulfill the order the way I wanted because of the low weekend inventory. I was extremely disappointed that I had to chase them down and that they had been discussing my complaint without bothering to call me. There was a complete failure in communication. The product was poor, the service was terrible, and I absolutely would not recommend this place.
