Their pictures on the website looked gorgeous. The owner helped me arrange for the delivery. She patiently listened to what I wanted and was extremely helpful in steering me to the right flowers for the person and the occasion. I set a budget and she worked within that. The flowers were delivered next day and they're stunning. They look much more beautiful than I could have imagined. Truly their floral arranger is an artist. The entire process from start to fruition was easy and friendly. I have found our Portland florist and I can highly recommend this business! Please remember to tip your driver and the artist!

The florist never told me they had low inventory that day and couldn't make what I requested, even though he had promised he could. A few days later, they texted me for a review. I called the store to try and resolve the issue directly. A woman asked me to text a picture of the arrangement and said her manager would call me back the next day. No one called. When I followed up with a text, she was super rude, telling me not to contact her personal phone, which she was the one who gave me. I had to call the store again. I spoke to the original person who took my order, and he admitted they had been discussing it. He offered only a 20% discount and finally admitted they couldn't fulfill the order the way I wanted because of the low weekend inventory. I was extremely disappointed that I had to chase them down and that they had been discussing my complaint without bothering to call me. There was a complete failure in communication. The product was poor, the service was terrible, and I absolutely would not recommend this place.

My first experience with this delightful place wasn't to purchase flowers, but was a wonderful gift that arrived for my birthday three days after we returned from Puerto Vallarta. My son and his wife thought I might enjoy a tropical birthday and I received a large, absolutely gorgeous bouquet of flowers like the ones that surrounded us on those tropical days. Truly lovely! So when i wanted flowers for my daughter's wedding shower, I ordered their "upcycle" with assorted small bottles and single stems---and it was so perfect for the table, and everyone commented on its simplicity and charm. As to price, I know flowers and have shopped many places, and this is not maybe the cheapest, but certainly not too pricey. I felt like I both received and gave works of art from Geranium Lake, and I most certainly will use them again and again. If you want flowers that sing joy, then this is your shop! read more

We couldn't have been more happy. Everything was absolutely perfect. Kim was able to effortlessly translate a few adjectives and photos into exactly what my daughter wanted. For an August wedding, the peonies are out of season. However, this is a favorite flower of my daughter's. She mentioned that peonies were her favorite, and they made the effort to find them in just the right shade of pale pink she envisioned for her bouquet. Each piece was a work of art from the bouquet, to the chuppah, her hairpiece, and the groom's boutonnieres. Everyone is easy to work with and the communication was outstanding. Robin & her team put together arrangements for my son's rehearsal dinner at the Portland City Grill. The arrangments were reasonably priced and exactly what I was looking for. The arrangements stayed fresh enough to be used at the wedding the following afternoon. Geranium Lake also put up cafe lights in the perfect tasteful design and could have provided the chairs and linens at a better price than the restaurant. I especially liked the creative arrangement for the sideboard that had hanging globe lights from branches. I live on the east coast and it was easy to work with Robin. I couldn't be more pleased with a florist! You can't go wrong when ordering from them! Unlike some other florists I've used, Geranium Lake knows how to "condition" their flowers to make their floral arrangements last! EXAMPLE: Nineteen days ago I sent the "touch of Sunshine bouquet" to someone that works in the U.S.Bank Corp complex. This morning I received a phone call telling me that only one flower had faded. Geranium Lake created 5 flower arrangements for the Rehearsal Dinner for our son's wedding. Each table had a different theme, so each arrangement had to be individual. They listened and followed exactly what I wished to have on the tables and the arrangements were spectacular!
