Great authentic Mexican cuisine, the best around for miles! I enjoyed the Mexican decor found throughout the restaurant and especially the mariachi on the outside. Service was just okay - the waitress brought our ordered beverages out promptly but forgot to bring the waters out until well after our food was delivered. When reminded we were all waiting on water she returned with only one glass. After that we didn't receive any service until being brought the bill. I have to say that these Mexican folks were more authentic than commercial. I had the Fluata plate and it was good. I like my refried beans to be thicker versus loose--nonetheless they were good. The margarita is very good. Not too sweet. We had lunch. Chips and salsa came to table. Salsa is not spicy. Taco and enchilada - taco got soggy from enchilada. Enchilada was flavorful and good sauce. Chimichanga was jam packed with shredded beef, sour cream and pico was on the side. Definitely a good Mexican option, nothing was spicy you have to ask to spice it up. Arrived here from Hawaii for training, I was able to get out to this restaurant right before I left Camp Grafton. I am by no means a connoisseur on Mexican Cuisine; but I did find this restaurant to have an abundance of great service and food. My food got served steaming hot, and the wait staff was more than welcome to service all my requests. Highly recommended if your staying on Camp Grafton and you need a change in taste. read more

You gotta try the parrillada! Delish! It's like a fajita except it's got chorizo, beef, shrimp AND a pork chop. All perfectly seasoned with chilli peppers, onions and green peppers. Comes with tortillas beans a really good guacamole and Spanish rice that is more reminiscent of Chinese fried rice. All kinds of goodness added. Sherry had the trio of enchiladas. Loved it. Service was a little iffy. Sherry's meal came 5 minutes after my own. Took a while to flag someone for refills. And even though the waitress said she would check us out, I wasn't too sure she was coming back. We liked the decor (a little bit of a cliche, but nice). Didn't try the tequila as I was driving. Something for next time. Would have been 5 star if service had been on the ball. Food was outstanding. Prices a little steep, but I will pay for good food and this might be the best Mexican food in North Dakota. read more

The rating is 4.5 relative to Mexican food I have eaten in North Dakota, and second to only Mi Tierra in Minot. This restaurant has high quality Mexican food and flavor not common in the region. This family owned business is a terrific addition to the community and I am grateful. The Steak a la Mexicana, Carnitas, and Chori-queso dip are delicious. I live in Bemidji, Mn and My daughter and son- in- law live in Devils Lake and have been here to eat and they say it is sooo goood, Well as soon as we go for a visit this is going to be the first place we go and then I can make a proper review. I hope by seeing this that other people will yelp now that I have added the business. Finally got to make it to this restaurant and so glad we did, it is black Friday night and it is packed, I live in Bemidji and we have the restaurant called Mi Rancho that we think is the total best in Mexican food, and we think we heard this is a sister to the one in Bemidji, as I have said before my daughter lives in Devils Lake, and my other daughter lives in Grand Forks. There is Paradiso in grand forks, they have good food but not like these two restaurants have, my family think these are better, who ever brained stormed this was really thinking about the future. There is not a restaurant like this anywhere around so I suspect they are going to be big especially in a town with no other Mexican food except for taco bell. Ok to the review, like I said it was Friday night and it is new in town and black Friday on top of that so it was truly packed, the décor was super cute and makes you feel you are really in Mexico, service was super great, chips and salsa was great, me and my hubby ordered combo plates I had a taco, enchilada and a chili relleno, chose no red sauce and had queso cheese instead all over mine and my hubby got a taco, burrito and a quesadilla and a side of rice, my daughter and her hubby got chicken and steak fajitas and they came sizzling. Most everything was just wonderful, the only three problems we had was that one, the food came to me and my hubby a good 10 minutes before it came to my daughter and her hubby, not good, and my taco when I went to pick it up it just fell apart because of all the grease that was in the taco meat it was sitting in a pool of grease, but hard to say where my taco order was at in the taco meat pot and my chili relleno was soggy. I just won't get a taco or the relleno next time. My hubbys taco was very good he said no grease so there it is. The fajitas were wonderful and so was the rest. Just was the food choices at the time and no telling what was happening in a busy kitchen. We will be back a lot of times I know... so I will review again...I would do a 3 star but for future potential I will give it a 4 read more

This is the second time my wife and I have been to this restaurant since it opened. Needless to say that this is the first real authentic Mexican joint in town and it's actually really good. The food is fresh and the chips and salsa come warm to the table every time. The staff is fairly friendly and orders don't take a crazy amount of time. Both times I ordered the chimichanga once with chicken and once with shredded. The only issue I would say is that they packed a ton of chicken into the first one and usually that's a good thing but the chicken to tortilla ratio was considerably off. Our second time around my wife ordered her dish with steak and when it came it was with beef instead. Our server was a bit short and somewhat standoffish. Very few trips to ask how our food was and counted his tip from the bill right in front of us before we left. Very strange. read more

I ordered the steak ranchero. It was delicious. I also had the sangria here. It was a delightful, family friendly atmosphere that was able to accommodate our party of 6.
