My return taxi ride went without incident. Nadim is very pleasant and a good driver. The only issue I had was the price of the ride which was $500 round trip. He explained that other services don't usually go that direction. Overall I am so grateful he kept his commitment and delivered me to the hotel after many delays and hours. I would have paid any amount.

I repeatedly went through the process of setting up the ride, and the app kept saying the ride setup failed and to try again later. I then notice that an Uber Driver had shown up at my son's house for a pickup. Additionally, the price of the ride appeared to have gone up by a considerable amount. Wow I used to be an uber regular but will NEVER USE UBER AGAIN based on a recent incident…read more I received an email saying that I had a free $30 ride with Uber for referring a friend. I couldn't see this on my account so I emailed the Uber manager (Stephanie Felix) to make sure that I had the credit. She indeed verified the credit, twice. I took a ride and...what do you know my credit card was charged in full! I contacted Uber management to remedy this but they would not acknowledge the mistake, claiming that they thought I asked if I had had credit in the past. CLEARLY THIS MAKES NO SENSE. Stay away from uber. THEY WILL SCAM YOU. I am sticking with Lyft!
