I have been a customer of ABC Vet for 34 years. Best vets and staff ever! They go beyond the call of duty for their clients. I have breed Friesian horses since 1989 and the staff of ABC Vet has been amazing. No way would I change veterinarians. I wish there were more than 5 stars!

Came here to get my little Boston Terrier puppy her first set of shots. Dr. Karen Lipovsky treated my little Xena with great care. She informed me on all necessary puppy shots/upkeep as she grows into her adulthood. Dr. Lipovsky was very sweet and handled my dog very well and professionally. The staff was very friendly as well. Would I go back: Aside from me having to go back for her routine checkups, Yes, I would go back.

    A very happy patient :-)

Rude staff. They don't answer their phones and are too good to take new clients. Don't bother with them because they won't bother with you.

The E-Vet made a misdiagnosis and their prescribed medications made our boy extremely dehydrated, but Dr. Penny has been able to get him a little better. The staff at Companion Animal Clinic are helpful, knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, patient and I can tell they really do care about us and our babies. I won't trust another vet ever! Sorry, this is going to be long, because I have a lot to say. I also don't like writing negative…read morereviews unless I have a very good reason. My husband and I have been taking our pets here for about 15 years. It used to be a great place that we trusted, but we have seen this place change over time, and not in a positive way. It started when I took my hound Gunnar there when he was puppy. A vet tech asked if I ever had a dog named River. I answered no, I never did. She then proceeded to say "Yes, You did, I know your name, Stephanie Grant!" Then proceeded to berate me on things I supposedly did this dog named River who I had never heard of. (By the way, I know there is another person who shares my name who lives in my area, or at least used to. I only know this, because I received her sewer bill once in error) When She was done, I shrugged it off as an odd encounter, thinking it was someone having a mental health breakdown. My hound, Gunnar received all his care there from puppyhood to his last day. The last day, though, was the final straw for me. On Tuesday 1/13/2026 Gunnar's health suddenly deteriorated within hours, to the point where he was unable to walk. He was quite elderly by this point, and we had expected this. At over 90 pounds, he was a large dog in a great deal of pain. I asked if he could be possibly be euthanasized in our vehicle. Instead, I was curtly told that he needed to be brought inside for a "quality of life check-up" because it was over a year since he was seen. This made me feel like a neglectful pet owner, even though I was sure it hadn't been that long. Later on, I looked through my CareCredit receipts and saw that Gunnar had a wellness checkup on 1/17/25, so he had been seen, in fact LESS than a year. Since Gunnar was unable to walk, we had to put him on a stretcher and bring him inside, rather than taking our word for it. For us, it wasn't about the money at all, how we were treated or gaslit. Or, perhaps, the staff thought I was the other Stephanie Grant, I don't know. Have your vendetta all you want with me, (or whomever you think I am) but DO NOT take it out on my dying dog. It was about the unnesscary pain and discomfort Gunnar went through on his last day on Earth. For that, I will never forgive them. I'm kicking myself for not refusing and taking him to an emergency veterinarian instead who would have done the procedure at our vehicle. There's been a few things about this place that's rubbed me the wrong way, but I will never forget how we were treated. Gunnar deserved better than this.

We will not be going back, though, because of one particular vet, the worst one we've ever encountered. Most of the vets we saw there were great. But this one asked us to make an appointment to follow up on our ailing pet, and then simply refused to answer the phone or return messages to allow us to make that appointment. When a week had gone by with crickets, we asked for an appointment with anyone who was available. You can't wait like that with a sick pet. Well, that got him on the phone finally. He said another vet "wouldn't appreciate" having to see us. Oh really? Then pick up the phone!! Then midway through discussing treatment options (again, on a sick animal) he said he "had to go" and hung up on us. We couldn't agree on what treatments he had even said they'd do, and they did one we definitely didn't agree to or discuss. The treatment wasn't the issue, though; the issue was his epically bad, unprofessional attitude. The kicker? He never called to ask us how our potentially dying pet was doing afterwards. Never again.
