One thing that I really…read moreappreciated from the beginning when I reached out for some more information, Josh asked to get on a call with my fiance and I to learn a bit more about our venue and wedding style and help fit us with one of their packages. I can't tell you how many other companies just sent over a brochure with their pricing with no follow-up. In speaking with Josh, he was very consultative, and also just a very pleasant person to talk with. After comparing a few other photographers, we landed on Storytellers because of their beautiful editing style, and we knew we would be in good hands with experienced professionals. We worked with Anel for our engagement photoshoot, and she was a complete gem. My husband and I are not picture people, and she was able to get us comfortable in front of the camera. Those pictures turned out beautifully. For the wedding, we worked with Anel and Andrew for photography, and Marilyn for videography, and I cannot stress how amazing it was to work with all of them. I was a bundle of nerves the day of my wedding, and not once did I have to worry about anything not being captured. If anything, being around them helped ease our nerves a bit, because they were all so nice to be around. We went with a full nine hour package, and by the end of the day, it felt like we all had gone through a journey together. Weddings are wild. The photos turned out beautifully, and we cried the first time we watched our video. We got to relive all of the beautiful details again (some that we didn't even get to see) without the stress that came with the big day. They kept playing my wife's walk out song for the bridesmaid's and groomsmen's. Very embarrassing on the alter for family and friends. Argued over a song when my new bride and I were about to do our first dance since it was the wrong song (again). My wife has been editing photographs now for 4 hours to increase brightness, contrast and discarding some photos. None the less, not a pleasant experience. Do not be fooled with the price. We were. He was supposed to record the ceremony in one continuous recording, instead we got a bunch of video clips mixed with pictures of the ceremony. The guy didn't even take pictures of me with my daughter or my daughter with her father, or any pics of the cake. It was terrible. I paid for a package that was supposed to include video and pics. They sent one guy to do both. How does that even work? And my daughter is still upset about it to this day. I still have to hear about it even a year later. I had tried to get a refund, and after arguing with the guy over email and phone, he agreed to refund half the cost and I only received $50 back til this day. Don't waste your time. Even if he offers you "a deal". Don't fall for it. You are better off having a family member do it or doing it yourself. My sister did a better job with her simple camera than this guy did.
