He far exceeded my expectations! I let him know what my signature dishes were and he made extra care to make sure those dishes had special highlights as the stars of the show. He came with awesome backdrop as well as some sort of machine that you set the dish on and it rotates around in a circle so he can get all angles and profiles of my dishes. My fiance and I met Jeff at the AZ Bridal show over a year before our wedding. He had a beautiful…read moresetup at the show with many examples of his photography to browse. We spoke with Jeff and his assistant for some time and got to know him and how he got into the photography field. We fell in love with his work and also his loud personality, we knew he would be perfect for our big day. We decided to setup a future consultation with him to discuss further details. A few weeks later we met up with Jeff at a Starbucks and he had bought us both coffee, which was a nice gesture. We sat down and looked at more pictures and also his amazing hand-made wedding albums. He asked us what we were looking for in a photographer and what our budget was. We went over his multiple wedding packages and pricing, which is VERY reasonable. Jeff stepped away and gave my fiance and I time to discuss. We decided to book with Jeff right then and there and have KolorPHX photograph our engagements and our big day! We paid our down payment with him (which was 20% if I remember right...?) and went over all the contract details to make sure we knew what we were signing for. We went over possible dates for our engagement session as well, which we later had in March. Jeff helped us by giving us his Style Guide which elaborates on good ideas on what to wear for the engagement session. This was EXTREMELY helpful, considering all my fiance ever wears is baseball shirts! Jeff texted us a few times before the session and gave us his opinion on a location for the photoshoot, and we both loved the location he suggested, so we went with it! When we showed up to the location for the engagements, Jeff was early and was ready to roll! We were there for hoursss and he helped us with many different poses and looks and we moved all around the location and he made us feel very comfortable during the photoshoot. He made sure we were having fun and were doing okay the entire time. Later that night, after the session, Jeff had posted a "sneak peak" photo of us on his social media. We LOVED it! I couldn't wait to see more!! Jeff emailed us hard copies of all of our engagement photos (which was a lot) within a short time frame so we could do as we pleased with them. The photos are better than we could have ever imagined. Jeff has a great eye for photography and we can't wait to have him photograph our wedding this Spring. I would recommend him to anyone!
