Dr. Kendra Durham stated during my initial visit that she had experience treating my condition and that she had successfully treated other patients with similar issues. Based on those assurances, I proceeded with care. Over time, it became clear that my condition was not well understood. Treatment recommendations were repeatedly inappropriate for my limitations, and weeks into care Dr. Durham acknowledged that she would need to research how to treat my condition. Reasonable accommodations required under the ADA were not consistently provided, despite repeated disclosure and requests, and concerns about communication and safety were minimized rather than addressed. I later submitted a formal written complaint outlining these issues and never received a response from the practice. I do want to note that the front desk staff were consistently kind and professional. Unfortunately, my overall experience was deeply disappointing, and I hope this feedback leads to improved ADA compliance and patient care.

I requested my records over the phone to be faxed...they were not and then my Dr. requested my records which she never got. I like Dr. Zabawa. He's a really nice guy…read more However, when I was his patient, I needed to have my atlas adjusted 99.9% of the times I saw him. To me, a non-expert, this is not healing. I've been seeing another atlas orthogonal specialist in Clearwater and I've held my adjustment for a year straight. So maybe it's just me? I don't get a high sense of confidence from the book he has slid underneath the orthogonal instrument table. Like I said, I like him as a person, but getting adjusted on every single visit is NOT progress imho. I've traded convenience for healing.
