TLDR: Anna was a blast to work with. You can really feel her years of experience and expertise. I really couldn't have asked for anyone else. Super fast mortgage loan and close of escrow. And better yet, she is still actively checking in on me. If I could describe Anna's ability/work in three words, I think it would be: Efficient, Organized, Attentive. And I'll add Super Friendly in there as well. First and foremost, I want to say that I absolutely LOVE my new home. I moved in about two weeks ago and really I have no complaints at all. I love the view, the location, the comfort, and especially the ease and simplicity of the entire process. Anna and her assistant Rory really hooked it up! So a little backstory, I actually stumbled across Anna on accident. I had began searching for my own little place in Koreatown just via Open Houses that I saw on Zillow and Redfin. In some of the condo units that I visited, the agents hosting the house attempted to offer their services to me. There was one particular unit that I kind of liked and without asking me for my preferences or concerns, they sent me their loan agent and a conditional offer letter the next day. I was uncomfortable because it felt like they were pushing me through the process without informing me of anything. Later, Anna would show me the statistics on that particular agent, who had only made a single transaction within two years. The lack of inexperience was so apparent and definitely would not have been a good deal for me. I bumped into Anna and her friend/loan agent Mona while checking out an open house that was significantly out of my price range--slightly over a million. Anna's general clientele purchase property within or above that range. Immediately after meeting Anna, she gave me some tips on what to look for, and also gave me her opinions on the units that I had already looked at. Her friendly and outgoing personality really took it away. My parents who are seasoned in buying real estate and who were looking at property's with me, told me that she would definitely be a good agent. Anyhow, fast-forward a few days and I was at a dead end. The other agent was trying to push this property on me and I really felt only luke-warm on it. I wanted to check out more buildings that were not available for open house, and I didn't feel comfortable asking the other agent for assistance. So my parents recommended that I call Anna. Luckily for me, she had recently closed multiple deals and could squeeze me. Two days after, she had planned out 10+ units to see in a span of 2 days. (EXTEMELY ORGANIZED). She showed me a range of units that were both within and outside of my price range (I could definitely come up a bit if needed); her reasoning being that it would be beneficial for me to see a wide range of units so I truly get a taste of what I like. But honestly, by the second day, we walked into my current home and I pretty much knew I wanted it. Anna immediately set to work on getting the best deal for me. She truly showed her experience by carefully planning when and how she would make the offer. She went to the open house to convince the sellers agent and a bunch of other things behind the scenes (I'm sure). Because I honestly feel I got the place at a steal (apologies to the seller). I think the estimated escrow closing date was 24 days, which my parents thought was impossible since I had to procure a loan, but she did it! I think we went to like 25 or 26 days, but that was only because the seller was traveling abroad and could not notarize some documents. Anna again showed her experience by having the seller go to the embassy and notarize/overnight deliver the documents over. She really took things into her own hands to secure the best experience for me. She made sure that I transferred all my utilities and made sure that I got the best deal everywhere I went. She even got me a quote for carpet replacement, recommended places to buy cheap furniture, and took some light bulbs so she could find the best replacement for the current ones. Oh and she is super responsive, sometimes even calling me late into the night, making sure that I feel okay and understand everything that is happening/was going to happen.. And after everything, I was impressed by how organized she presented all the documents to me. I now have this nice binder/folder divider thing with all of the documents separated into different tabs. After searching for one year, we found the perfect 3 bed 2.5 bath home - however, the demand for this house was hyper competitive given the limited supply in the market.
