Update #2 Samantha L. Just gave a positive review for this business, however she is an employee there (against the Yelp policy) . She bashed me yesterday when I gave a negative review on the 'Belle Smile' business name through Yelp, and their current business name. Belle Smile deleted the entire business on Yelp indicating that it no longer exists. Now they are using the former yelp page listed as Dr. Choe-Belle Smile. Try doing a review for Belle Smile. When you click on it, it states that it is no longer in business. Belle smile does not like negative reviews, they will do whatever it takes to make sure the public does not see a negative review. Their actions have been reported to Yelp.
Update#1 in response to Dr. Zaifman's response to my review.
Dr. Zaifman's unprofessional response speaks for itself in how COVID precautions and safety of their patients and staff is not a priority. All medical offices I have been to since Covid began have asked those simple screening questions before entering the building for everyone's safety. Dr. Zaifman's response, I quote, "Traci, you are being irresponsible if you are waiting for someone to ask routine questions; if you have symptoms, stay home." The public will decide if they want to enter your office, when a doctor responds to a patient like this.

NOT COVID SAFE!!!!!
This office is not following standard procedures to prevent the spread of the virus. Firstly, I walked in the office and, although they did take my temperature, they DID NOT conduct a Covid screening (simple questions every medical office asks before entering the building). I did think it was weird that I didn't receive an email or a call prior to my appointment, but thought for sure they will ask me when I arrive. NOPE. Then, when the hygienist asked me to come back to the chair I saw another hygienist working over a patient with only a shield on. She DID NOT have a mask on. The shield clearly only protects someone if they are standing upright and facing one another. This hygienist's droplets will be going directly on the face of that patient due to gravity, since patient was lying flat and she was leaning over the patient. I stopped and asked my hygienist why the other one was not wearing a mask. He didn't answer the question, but stated he would be wearing one. I asked him why he didn't ask me the Covid screening questions, and he replied, "what questions?" Then he tried to backtrack and said, " I was planning to ask you once you sat down". I let him know that it is too late and these questions should be asked before entering the building.
Dr. Zaifman, I provided you with a picture (which is under your response to me) of the COVID screening questions. For your convenience, you can print this out from the American Dental Association's website. Also, as recommended by the ADA, you may want to install plexiglass at the front desk to protect your clerical staff and patients, since you didn't have one. It is also recommended that you purchase a non-touch thermometer instead of the one you have which touched my forehead, especially since patients cannot be certain you clean the thermometer between patients. The ADA also recommends N-95 masks in addition to goggles/face shields. I would highly recommend visiting the ADA's website because you can print out all the steps to take to keep staff and patients safe, in a checklist format. read more
