I am so disappointed in the pricing of dentistry. I was quoted a cash price for a cleaning. Then add another $85 for the exam....oh plus we have to do x-rays for an additional $140 but we will discount that by half......with a family or six, how are we supposed to pay $278 for a cleaning PER PERSON? My family and I have gone to Anna dental since they first opened. Last year, we did our annual cleanings as well as had my son's wisdom teeth removed. After I pay over $1000 for the wisdom teeth removal I then get a bill for over $1,000. I call and ask and their reply? Insurance didn't cover the portion. REALLY? Because when I made the appointment, they quoted me and I paid in full. Then I find out they're out of network now with my insurance. Which NOT ONE person informed me of so the dental cleanings were now not covered. Perhaps the person who verifies insurance should notify the patient of such important information. My guess is, she didn't have a clue until it was rejected. I assume they need to figure out a way to pay for their new building- I'm so disappointed and the 9 of us will not return. read more

What can I say about my Hygienist Rhea? One word: Awesomeness. I have never had a hygienist as good as her and I have seen a lot of them over the year. Do not use this office. I needed a routine root canal that should have cost me $800 out of pocket after insurance. Instead, a file was broken off in my root and couldn't be removed by the dentist performing the work. I was sent to an endodontist to remove the file, and paid out of pocket again, even though they also could not remove the file. 6 months later I received an additional bill from both practices due to my dental insurance being maxed out, claims denied, after multiple visits for a procedure that should have been completed in one visit. FYI the metal file is still in my mouth with a crown over the top. They have made no attempts to reach out and resolve the issue or make things right, $2000 later. For a routine root canal. I have a HUGE phobia of going to the dentist. This office was personal and thorough in all areas! During my procedure they kept checking on me and from time to time I felt the hygienist grab my hand several times to comfort me. It is little things like that that make a dramatic different in making someone like me feel at ease. It shows they really do care. Also, the work done was AMAZING. I have a 3 crowns done before and all were a tough experience. At this office, it was a walk in the park! read more

I'm not a fan. After I moved here I went here after hearing about how great they were. I walked out from my cleaning with a recommendation for four new crowns. I drove to see my old dentist a couple hours away for a second opinion and was told that I didn't need any crowns. All of the teeth they recommended for crowns had fillings but they were intact and no reason to crown them. I decided not to go back to Anna Dental. That was more than five years ago. I go to Branches Dental now and I never did get those crowns. And I've never had any issues. read more

This is by far one of the worst dentist I've been too. I had to go back about 4 times in a roll in the same week to get my teeth re done. It was one minor crack on my front tooth, and they did not cure it correctly, they also got some of the filling on my other tooth that did not need any on it. They are a money hunger company. If your looking at the reviews thinking should I risk it and go here? Trust me don't come here. I thought I was making the right choice coming to this location just because the "Five star" rating. This entire practice and it's staff are amazing! A high-end facility and a friendly team of Dental professionals made every one of my visits easy, calm, and especially stress free! I was lucky enough to have Dr Anderson as my treating dentist who has a gentle touch and a reassuring smile. She was easy to talk to about some of my concerns and made sure I was comfortable during each procedure. Her assistants were just as great! The hygienist I saw was China who was just as welcoming and thorough in her work, and on the plus side, she made the x-rays a breeze. The front desk staff are such a pleasure to work with and helped me whenever my 18 month son needed some attention and wouldn't sit still in my lap. Although I have not had the privilege to meet the other doctors or their assistants within the office, I have heard many good things from friends within the community. We always loved Anna Dental. Their billing system makes absolutely no sense! We got a bill in the mail for what was left that insurance doesn't cover, which i don't mind paying our portion. We did pay our estimated amount at the time of service. However there is no explanation to any of the bill. We called & it's a total from 3 people in the family. One was seen over a year ago & the other two were a few months ago. But they don't send a bill out for each patient, we just get a lump sum bill due with no explanation at all. When i called back for an itemized receipt for flex spending, we'll. . . She wasn't rude, but wasn't super friendly either. Now it makes me not even want to go to the dentist because of surprise bills that show up. This has never happened anywhere else. We'll see if we continue there or find a new place for the family to go. read more

Had the BEST experience today as a new patient at Anna Dental. When I walked in, the waiting room was quite packed...and to be honest, I thought I was in for a regular "cattle call" office visit. However, that could not be more opposite of what I experienced!!! Amy greeted me immediately upon arrival. She had me complete paperwork and I sat and waited for *maybe* 5-10 minutes. (The office was immaculate by the way.) I was brought back before my appointment time, and Amy welcomed me and showed me to my room and was as friendly and sweet as she could be. After she left, I sat in the room for less than five minutes before I was greeted by my hygienist, Christie. Christie was so friendly and my cleaning was great and thorough! The Dr. I saw was Dr. Sharp, who was also awesome and I heard him pop in and check on me/Christie multiple times during my cleaning to see if we were doing okay. Even during my checkout process to end my visit, Jessica was super friendly and helpful! To experience top notch customer service and to see people that actually seem happy to be at their place of employment is rare these days, but that is exactly what you will get walking in to Anna Dental. 10/10 would recommend.
