Walking in you'll be greeted by pink and black themed walls including a little "instagrammable/snap worthy flower wall that sports an "enjoy life, eat cake" quote. The staff is quick to greet you as you wait in line to order before finding a seat at the cute 4 top bistro tables. Trina and Chef Kred offer specialty cheesecake, cake, cupcakes, and also yummy food! They have things from pasta, to philly cheesesteak, to wings, and even chicken bites for the kiddos. This is our first time here after drooling over facebook pics. We ordered a small red velvet cake jar, a praline, Cajun pasta, and Philly Cheesesteak. The wait took a minute because as a small business most things are made to order, but it was worth it. Everything had a lot of good flavor including the meat in the Philly! We took some to go and will definitely be back! Oh, the cake jar and praline were bomb too!

I agreed with the price which was reasonable and paid the total amount. I'm not from the area so I wasn't sure what to expect when I finally did pick up my cake. I walked into the bakery yesterday and was greeted with friendly service and the desserts looked delicious. Once I got my cake I was wowed! These ladies went above and beyond and did their thing!!! It was BEAUTIFUL.. it was HUGE and it was DELICIOUS!! Everyone enjoyed it... We got so many compliments and stares from people in the restaurant last night. I recommend this bakery for any and all occasions.

We just happened to be in the area and found this place and lucky enough to catch it right before it was closing for the day. Selections were limited since we came so late in the afternoon. Even though it was about to close. It still very busy. Parking is limited in front of the store and faces the Market Street. Do not be discouraged by this, they offer a little more parking in the back. I was so excited to see they still had some brownies left. To my understanding and what they told me; they usually sell out of them pretty quickly. I was thinking that they were a big piece. Far from it being a large portion. Actually the portions are small and great value! When I found out about the size and value. Ended up buying more of them. They offer a ooey gooey pie by the register. Trust me, buy it! Overall, what we bought was super delicious. You would think by looking at it would be too sweet and decadent. It was sweet, but not too sweet. Just right. They mentioned that they will start selling the chocolate cake by slice due to high demand. Must stop if you are in the area. Be mindful of when they close. Closer to when it closes, limited on what they have to offer you. Definitely grab a brownie. I am not much of chocolate person but that could eat daily. No Wi-Fi or military discount at this time.

What they make here are not your run of the mill grocery store cakes. That's why they are not cheap, but cut into one and you'll see what you paid for. Just picking up the box you can expect a good ten or more pounds because of how much stuff they put into them. Their cakes are dense and fancy. Our recent order was for the Chocolate Bavarian Cream cake, which comes with layers of chocolate cake, strawberries, cream, and more. The 10 inch cake was upwards of $80, but I think it is worth every penny for the pure decadence of it all. We've ordered it several times over the years and it is always a hit at birthday parties. I also usually get my wife an order of their chocolate covered strawberries on Valentine's Day, because they put a lot of attention to detail and always use large, plump fruit. They often put the same strawberries on some of their cakes. In addition to custom orders, they maintain an inventory of smalls from cookies to mini versions of their cakes, so you can walk in and try out various stuff. They also serve coffee inside, so it's a great place to pick up a sweet treat on the way home from work.

My lil niece hipped me to this sugar cube of a bakery. Wow. Okay so I saw this candied Strawberry atop a sleeved Strawberry cheesecake. Okay but then I saw this sticky goodie Baklava. Look up to the top shelf, is that real home made fudge? Why yes it is. Now the hard part. Which do I leave with? Of course he did. He got all three. Diet? My mom and pop didn't raise a quitter. Gimme all three. Niece had a monster sandwich cookie. Okay so I cut back a little and let her cop my candied strawberry. I am a total sucker for real family businesses. You know someone put their heart into preparing you a piece of their dream. The dream we all share of love, community, being connected through food. Okay and making a bunch o' moolah in the process. This place deserves it. The cheesecake looked over the top decadent and sweet but when I dove in it was shockly balanced. It fully pleased every individual taste bud as if each had a spoon and each had their own tiny yet fully flavored size sleeve of cheesecake. That good. Well, I just dropped by for a few cupcakes, so my experience was not very involved at all…read more Sweet tooth - saw shop - slammed on brakes. I bought four beautiful cupcakes! It was the afternoon so they weren't fresh out of the oven or anything, but each was different and just beautiful. The price was about $3.25 or so each and they were boxed up very nicely. Well, since I am insulin-dependent making this stop wasn't high on the intelligence scale. So I improvised and drove to one of my little hang outs and waited for some buddies to arrive. The consensus was "delish". I had part of a lemony cake that was not too sweet, not overly frosted and very pretty in presentation. Unfortunately this just is not my typical food item, but I was not at all disappointed.

I didn't even get to the tasting part and already hated it. I had heard from a friend and based on…read moretheir stellar reviews that they would be excellent. I'm sure their cakes are wonderful, but if you want customer service this is NOT the place to go. When I called, the person was very curt and it was difficult to get information as to whether or not my date (11 months out) was available. I was told that May, June, and July were starting to fill up and that I needed to make my decision fast. My fiance works full time out of town (4+ hours away) and I normally live out of town (3 hours away), so coming in on a Tuesday for a cake tasting together is almost impossible for us. I asked if there was any way we could possibly work around this. I understand it's policy, but how difficult would it be a bit more accommodating by using email, scanning pictures, phone conversations, allowing a relative or MOH to come in, etc, for a consultation on those days? She begrudgingly set up an appointment for me. No questions about the size of our wedding, when it was, where it was, or what flavors I had in mind. I called other bakers around town and even though they were busy, they still were incredibly accommodating, even though they all pretty much have the same policies as no tastings on the weekends. I was really shocked at the way I was treated, so I called back to Couture Cakes to ask for the owner, since judging by the rudeness I assumed it was an underpaid receptionist. She had the audacity to argue with me, saying that she was not rude and that she remembered speaking with me. She became incredibly defensive, saying that she was not curt in anyway and that I was wrong. She finally apologized, and when I said thank you and that I still wanted to conduct business with her, she just said with utmost attitude "well then, do you even want to come in then?" WHAT EVEN!? I felt like I was in the twilight zone and was sent back to some sort of high school drama. This is the type of business that gives women owners a bad name! I am so disappointed because I was looking forward to using them for our large wedding regardless of the tasting. If this is the way their business is conducted I do not foresee this business lasting much longer. DO NOT GO HERE! Just because she did AJ McCarron's engagement cake doesn't give her the right to conduct poor business. Please, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. When you're in the throws of wedding planning the last thing you want to deal with is awful customer service.
