Everything since then has amounted to the most consistently unprofessional conduct I have ever encountered. Much like the other reviewer, I was told I could expect the results of my examination within eight weeks. I called immediately at the eight week mark, as I have certain difficulties in school and wanted to resolve them as soon as possible. They told me to wait two more weeks. I called two weeks later and again, I am told I have to wait two more weeks for the results. At this point, I am beginning to think there is some type of weird scam being performed but I continued to follow up for the results because they were so important to me. After all the run around, I got the test results in April. In early June, when I had time for a follow up to discuss the results with one of the staff members, I called and got an appointment for July. They called me three times to reschedule the appointment, which was fine, but I started to get worried knowing what I already went through with them. I finally show up for my appointment today, and lo and behold, I was not scheduled for the date and time THEY had rescheduled me for. There was no record of an appointment whatsoever! I just want them to refer me out at this point. This ineptitude is beyond what patients should tolerate in a medical setting. Follow up: After I emailed my grievance I received an immediate and helpful response from Dr. Hafeez. My original consultation with her was great so I will be using their services at least one additional time. The errors, although frustrating, seem to be clerical and unrelated to the psychological services which I was pleased with.

The results and interpretation raised significant concerns for me, and I would have expected at minimum an acknowledgment that bias in psychological assessment is a recognized issue that requires careful consideration--especially when a patient explicitly raises it. Additionally, your characterization of my decision to seek a second opinion as "shopping for a diagnosis" was inappropriate and dismissive. Seeking further evaluation is a standard and reasonable step in mental health care, particularly when questions remain about testing methods or diagnostic conclusions. In my case, the second opinion is coming from two highly qualified professionals--a psychiatrist and a neuropsychologist--whose expertise is equal to or exceeds that of many general practices. There are a range of highly specialized neuropsychological practices available, such as Curect Neuropsychology, that focus specifically on comprehensive and structured assessment. Given the nature of my concerns, it is especially important that evaluations be conducted in a way that is careful, culturally informed, and free from potential bias, so that patients--particularly those from marginalized backgrounds--can feel confident that their experiences are being accurately and fairly understood. I also want to again address the issue of punctuality. Being over two hours late to my appointment significantly impacted the session and my experience of care. I did not receive any acknowledgment or apology for this in your response, which I find concerning given the extent of the delay.
