We contacted several automotive glass repair places in the DSM area and no one was willing to repair the chip. Glass Doctor said "Sure bring it on in!" We drove an hour there and they explained that because it was the original windshield in the car, which obviously was an antique, there was always the chance that the glass could shatter while repairing it. We felt confident enough in their abilities to have them go ahead and fix it, which they did with no problems! And the price was very, very reasonable! All of the employees there were very nice, very knowledgeable and very friendly. If we ever need future work done to any of our vehicle windows, we will definitely go to Glass Doctor of Des Moines!

I hired Kinman to replace glass in two casement windows. Their estimator can to my home to measure…read morethe windows and inspect the damage and their written quote was the lowest of the three companies I contacted. When they came to replace the glass they realized their estimator had ordered single pane glass and not double pane like my existing windows. They ordered the correct glass but refused to honor their quoted price claiming the estimator no longer worked for them. The owner was very rude and difficult To deal with. I was very unhappy but needed broken windows replaced so we negotiated a price for the work. The workers who came and replaced the glass did a very poor job with the installation. The glazing is sloppy and crooked and they didn't even bother to clean the windows. I do not recommend their services and would never use them again!
