    I was surfing Etsy years ago and I found Meredith's shop. I literally wanted to start a business…read moreright then and there just to work with her. I am not joking. Her work is that good. Fast forward a few years and I actually do have a business to brand and I reached out to her. I was literally giddy. After working with her to develop my branding, I remain giddy. I am a frugal person by nature, and we all know how you sometimes need to pull up the bootstraps at the beginning. This has been the biggest personal investment I have made in my small business and I couldn't be happier. The logo and branding information she developed has made me feel more confident about how I am presenting my fledgling business to the world. It will probably always be the best money I have spent. I was a design newbie and her questionnaires and follow up questions were exceptionally helpful in uncovering my aesthetic and focusing my branding. She was a pleasure to work with and I keep telling all of my friends who need branding help to work with Meredith. Her artistic skill is one thing, but her ability to help you realize your vision is what sets her apart. Stop reading and just reach out to her. I hired her to develop a logo and branding for my small consulting practice. I spent 11 years working in the creative department of a major modern and contemporary art museum, and I'm extremely picky and particular, and Meredith was unbelievably patient, responsive, and attuned to what I was going for. She was professional, organized, communicative, and meticulous. She went far above and beyond the call of duty and did not stop until the logo was exactly what I wanted. I am absolutely thrilled with the final product, and I will not hesitate to work with her again on future projects.

    I must say I had one of the worst customer service experiences ever with The Invisible Ink of…read moreWilson, NC, owned by Shawn Hicks. To be honest, I was surprised, as I have done business with him previously and recommended others. I placed an order for approximately 30 t-shirts and paid in full on March 26, 2025. I was given completion dates between April 25-30, which was delayed to May 11, then May 24, then June 2, then June 8. Then it became "you will get them when you get them ." (The order did arrive June 10.) Originally, I was told there were two orders that had to be filled before mine (1 was nearing completion), but after requesting an update, I was told it was four orders before mine. Yet, he prints in the order that he is paid. He told me he had other obligations, so he would pretty much get to it when he could. Everything took precedence over providing the product. My biggest issue was that there was little remorse or care. I was ignored when requesting updates and tracking numbers. I was met with hostility when I expressed my concerns and frustration with the excuses for the delays. His rebuttal was that I should have paid earlier and these delays happen with small businesses. I said it has been nearly three months! Then I was offered some coaster that he would PROBABLY add in for the multiple delays. I really try to be understanding and patient, but I don't like to be mishandled. We say support small businesses, but even a small business should have good customer service.
