The first visit was very awkward and uncomfortable when I told her I was there for perimenopause symptoms. She told me to tell her the top symptom I was struggling with and she would treat that one. She did bloodwork, called me a week later to diagnose me with Hashimotos, prescribed meds for that and that was it. I went back two other times and each visit was equally as uncomfortable. I never felt any better or different and there was nothing further she was willing to look into because I wouldn't have a GYN exam with her. Apparently that's what she does with most patients which I found very odd. I informed her I was already established with a gynecologist and was up to date. Maybe an even bigger problem was the lack of and staff. You absolutely cannot get anyone to answer the phone. You have to listen to the doctor on the voicemail and leave a message and I always had to call and leave multiple messages before a callback- sometimes a week later. There is a Dr and a nurse and a front desk employee. That's it. She keeps her dog there and it roams the office like it owns the place, which is very unprofessional in my opinion, but the whole situation was just strange and I hope this helps other people because I wish I would've been informed. This was years ago, but I have since spoken with many people who also have seen her and each and every one of them ended up feeling the same.

Menefee Judson K MD - I'm liking Doc Menefee, great listener AND he does his own ultrasounds, very cool!

These endocrinologists care for patients with hormonal conditions and disorders. They treat patients with diabetes, adrenal disorders, osteoporosis, thyroid disorders, and pituitary disorders, and help patients manage their weight and metabolism. The facility is modern and comfortable and well maintained with an ample waiting area that is spaced and marked for Covid protocols as of today 4/22/21 and masks are required to enter the building. Here's the official low down on the Doc. Dr. Judson Menefee, MD is a Internal Medicine Specialist in and has over 38 years of experience in the medical field. He graduated from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 1983. He is affiliated with Thomas Hospital. He is accepting new patients and has indicated that he accepts telehealth appointments. So we were taken back by the nurse, asked several questions while taking vitals, and told us the Doc would be with us shortly. In a just a few he came in and starting to ask about my sweetheart's issues and she gave him history background, etc. and they exchanged relevant information. The Doc said let's take a fresh look sound he walked over to another exam room with an ultrasound where he proceeded to do the scan himself. That's not something you see every day and it was really great. The fact that he walked us through his observations and answered questions in real-time was a HUGE improvement over the expected. The normal routine is a tech does the scan, you wait for days for a call from "someone" who usually says, "it looked okay" or "no problems" if you're lucky. Aside from the surprising stuff Dr. Menefee was a joy, he was professional, personable, was a great listener and not only really knew his stuff but genuinely seemed to care, When seeking out a medical professional this is a SCORE! Bottom line: Dr. Memefee and all the staff that we encountered were very friendly, professional, and just nice in general. The nurse we had was also just excellent. Our appointment was for 10:30 and we were on our way by 10:50, pretty impressive. Highly recommended

This rating is solely based on my recent experience with the office of Dr. Bolton, whom I highly…read moreregard and unequivocally recommend. It was time for a new Rx for a maintenance prescription and getting no response from the doctor's office, the pharmacy recommended that I contact the doctor. I did that and the secretary sent a message to Dr. Bolton's nurse, as she was forbidden to transfer my call. I received no response, nor did the pharmacy. The next morning I called again and explained that I was out of the medication; I also, requested that the nurse call me. I called a second time that afternoon, reminding them that I had been out for two days. Again, no response. In all, I called four times and have gone without my medication for four days. I have no idea where the ball was dropped, but am certain that Dr. Bolton would not have allowed this, had he been aware of the situation. This morning I contacted my cardiologist's office...within 2hrs I received a call and my prescription was sent to the pharmacy. It is my sincere wish that the responsible person in Dr. Bolton's office sees this and prevents this from happening to someone else. Not everyone's health condition would tolerate 4 days of zero medication without serious consequences. Fortunately for me, this was not one of the meds that I take every 12 hours to prevent rejection of my two transplanted organs.
