I had to conta her several times to correct it. she made so many mistakes like missing dosage, no medicine chosen and failing to fax my application. She got to the point she was blaming me for her mistakes. she has become unethical and not trustworthy. I'll be leaving south Baldwin because my complaints fell on deaf ears. senior doctors failed to do anything. As far as I see it they also are unet. patient cat should be 1 st. not so at this clinic. The doctor was friendly and ultimately prescribed the right treatment, covering two possible diagnoses at once, which I appreciate. However, the communication was lacking. The discharge paperwork only referenced one condition, with no mention of the second possibility. I only found out because my husband recognized the prescription names. When I asked the staff what the second medication was for, the answer was essentially that it "goes with" the first, which isn't an explanation. Patients need to know what they're being treated for and why, especially when the diagnosis is uncertain.

I have seen this doctor twice, the first time was in February. When I went to pick it up the milligrams were doubled!!! Still no conversation from anyone at the office! And just now I get a notice from the pharmacy saying my prescription did not have any refills so they would call the doctors office. So I remember in all the papers I had to complete one section said they would not approve from the pharmacy that I would have to contact. I didn't think that would be an issue because the order for refills should be automatic from the doctor when I was seen in August! Also I kept receiving a bill for $170 so I contacted my insurance and they said nothing had been submitted. So I contacted the office and they said to ignore as the IT department was working on it. That was around the first of September, however the end of September I received another notice so I contacted them again. The woman answering the phone was short and curt and seemed to be reading from a script, saying my insurance information didn't transfer so she will submit it now! This is so frustrating as a new patient! I am so thankful I am not a sickly person!

Saw him (Dr. Peterson) last December 2022 with symptoms related to the heart I was never asked to fill out paperwork reference to current/past medical issues or anything about family history. That was the first flag. Dismissive isn't even the word to describe this guy during my visit. Anything outside his cookie cutter experience he is lost and not your guy. No tests ordered or concerns just wanted me to take salt pills. That was the second flag. Thank God my husband and I had enough sense to know something was wrong and Dr. Petersons recommendation of 'salt pills' was code for 'I don't know what I'm doing' I'm now blessed with a real Cardiologist from across the Bay who listened, took family history, ran tests and saved my life with an ICD implant due to irregular heart rhythms and sudden death.
