The voicemail was them saying they aren't calling me and laughing. I then called and they said they could not see me since it's been over a year, they were not nice about it. I was going through some personal things and was unable to go. This was extremely unprofessional. It was super rude, reminded me of high school girl bullies. I attached the voicemail they didn't think they left.

However, since I had moved to Irwin, I decided...well, life goes on! I first heard about Dr. Szekely because I was a working as a Family Resource Specialist for a Headstart / Daycare program and came across his business. They have a program in which they give children without dental coverage free cleanings. So, I thought this was nice and, since he was close by, I thought I'd check him out. I started seeing Dr. Szekely a little over four years ago. Since the beginning, the dentist and his staff have always treated me well. They are all friendly and, in fact, treat you more like a friend than a patient. Thank goodness, I've had the need for minimal dental work, but here's my breakdown of what I have had done: Cleaning / X-Rays: Typical, no issues Bonding: Done well, no issues Teeth Whitening: Reasonably priced, great results!

I told her I didn't want any x-rays because I didn't have any major problems, I just wanted one front tooth bonded. She talked me in to the x-ray because I was a new patient. she said now we're gonna have to do a cleaning, and I told her I didn't want a cleaning because of a bad experience. She left the room and,the doctor came in. The Doctor said I don't want your business, and walk out in a hissy fit, Before I could even explain to him that I had my teeth cleaned, and I had sensitivity to hot and cold for six months, and tooth pain. The doctor showed me no respect! I felt like I was discriminated against because he didn't even try to accommodate my needs of being a elderly patient. The visit was a total waste of time. I asked the receptionist if I could purchase the x-rays, and, I take it her silence means a no. I just had to get this off my chest!

I don't care about paying the 100 dollars,but the way we got the third degree and got scolded like a bunch of deadbeats was terrible by their office manager!! So very bad manners!! Dr Wateska…read moreis hands down the kindest, most comforting medical person I have ever encountered in my life. He is the first and only person who has ever administered novacaine into my gums and caused little-to-no pain/discomfort. His bedside manners couldn't be better and the staff are equally as kind. Not to mention the entire office is so clean and welcoming. I have to return for a second root canal.in a few months and am comforted knowing I'll be going back to him.

I was visiting ER 3 times because the doctor Wateska stop responding to my calls even to after hours emergency number. I have one of the most traumatic and careless experience with this office and doctor, I was ready to lose my tooth just to have a few hours of sleep. If you will have complications after any persuasions, Dr. Wateska will do anything to disappear from responsibilities and provide proper care and whole, his office will talk to you like you are a drama queen and nothing to be worried about. No one deserves this during serious complications and unbearable pain. Worst experience of my life.

I've had my ups and downs in office, but overall when I look at it all, this is the office for me. They do sometimes not explain billing super well. But they have payment options which is nice, and their one of the few offices that works with government insurance. There was one cruel tech, but they fired her pretty fast it seemed because she was in multiple complaints for her cruel behavior. Which made me respect the office immensely. It showed they understand the struggles people go through that lead to teeth issues. They could've probably easily told me dentures, but they didn't. They took their time fixing each tooth, they were always kind throughout, and I am so thankful for all they do and have done. I've noticed some even now with use a numbing gel and then the numbing agent which is nice. I have a high pain tolerance but still, a little less pain in this world ain't so bad! I definitely have had moments when my disorder has acted up there, but they kinda seem understanding of it. They'll give me a second when I'm anxious. They let me pause. They fight insurance for coverage. Now I'm finally making more and will be moving insurance, and be able to afford treatments outside what the government allows, which makes me even more grateful because i know they know what they're doing. This place made me not afraid of the dentist anymore! Yay!

However, the prescription was never sent to my pharmacy. I tried calling the emergency number provided on my discharge paperwork over the holiday weekend, but no one answered, and my email went completely unacknowledged. When I finally reached the office on Tuesday, I was told it must have been a "mistake" and that the doctor was referring to antibiotics prescribed weeks prior. When I asked for further clarification about why the doctor explicitly told me to take them post-surgery, the receptionist just chuckled and brushed it off. I am now 9 days post-op, in severe pain radiating to my ear, and having to seek care elsewhere for a likely dry socket/infection because this office completely dismissed my concerns. Very unprofessional and untrustworthy care. Update: ABSOLUTELY DO NOT COME HERE WITH SERIOUS MATTERS IT WILL NOT BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY!
