Just read what I wrote and I'm in Edmond, not San Francisco. Don't know how Yelp did that. So much…read morefor Yelp. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a very small hobby shop that covers all or most of the major hobbies to some degree, so you can't expect them to have the depth of product their physically larger store in Norman has. They have more than I expected, as normally a shop this size is dedicated to only one or two hobbies, at most. But, those types of hobby shops are no longer viable in our online purchasing world. What's nice, it has a decent selection of plastic ship, tank and car kits for my grandson. It has a decent selection of model paints and glues. It has a small selection of model train stuff (my hobby) but I understand it can't be a dedicated train store. They seem to be heavy in RC, which we don't do, but a shop has to carry what sells. Without Hobby Town in Edmond, you'd be going to Hobby Lobby or Walmart to get what little hobby supplies you could find. Just saying, you'd miss it if it was gone, so lighten up.................

The inside of the store was very clean and the staff were very nice and helpful. Also, it wasn't too expensive. It was one dollar per attempt. The only down side to this place it is was rigged. I mean, what do you expect from a claw machine store? Don't try the Mario machine. Every time you play it, the claw picks up a Mario then drops it right before you win it. Crazy rigged. I took me 15 attempts before I could win it. Also, I feel like there was a limited selection of items to win. Yes, there were about 50 machines in there but they were all anime based. I wish they had a wider selection with more genres. Last thing I want to add is I won a duck that I named Gerald! Overall, this place was fun and it's a good one time experience. If you come here, remember it's kind of rigged so don't be sad if you don't win anything.

Overall, it was a fantastic value and incredibly exciting. We had so much fun!

My little one loves BAB, and the employees always make the experience for the kids so special. I love how animated all the workers are in giving a magical experience for the kids. My youngest son loves picking out his stuffed animal and then getting to choose a heart to stuff into his new fur friend. This location isn't as large as the Penn Square one, but they still carry a good amount of furry friends, accessories, and clothing for the stuffed animals. We always end up with a smell good patch and an outfit. They also sing you happy birthday during your birthday month! You can also get the happy birthday bear for the price of your child's age. So, if your child is turning 7, the bear will cost you $7.00. Can't say anything negative, BAB makes the experience fun for everyone.
