The little toy store with a lot of magic. Oklahoma City is lucky to have this incredible toy shop. Every inch of the walls are adorned with memories of mine and many more people's childhood. I couldn't help but reminisce about past birthdays and Christmas' when looking through room after room of vintage toys. The prices are great too! The owner Steve is not only the man behind the register, he's the man behind the magic. He takes a moment to teach kids at the register a little thing or two about life. This place has EVERY TOY from your childhood. The owner just loves toys and gets whatever he can find. Here's the catch though. You have to know what you're looking for. Here, there are no price tags. You must do your own research or have a smart phone handy to find the going rate for the item you just found. He's a friendly dude, but he will try and intimidate you. He won't bite though. Just make him a fair offer, and he'll hear you out. I bought an old Optimus Prime Transformer and a boxed collection of Batman the Animated Series figures for $40. Too lazy to visit the Toy Museum in Paul's Valley? Just come here. Make sure he's open though, he's got weird hours. read more

super cool place with tons of vintage & rare figurines. if you love anime, you'll find tons here. whether you're a collector or want to give someone a gift, this place has it all. such a vast collection, I don't think I've ever come across a toy shop this extensive before. Even if you don't plan on purchasing anything, just looking through everything is fun in itself. The owner is very sweet! I noticed that the reviews elsewhere (not on here) are not that good bc of him, which isn't fair. He's not everyone's cup of tea, but he means no harm. People need to lighten up & relax. He likes a little banter, so what? Anyway, found lots of great stuff here that I consider to be some of the best in my collection so far. I'm surprised there's not more reviews for this place - it's staggering how big it really is once you see inside. It's got rooms stacked floor to ceiling for every vintage toy line that ever was, apparently, but the best part, in my experience, was that the owner went out of his way for me, and was a really warm and funny guy. I live in LA but drove across country over the Holidays with my wife and 8 year old son, and made it a point to visit this place after seeing it featured on a YouTube show. We called ahead when were a few hours out because we weren't sure if we'd make it in time before it closed but the owner said HE'D WAIT FOR US!! Already I was impressed. We got there after hours in the freezing cold and it was hailing outside. He stayed there and kept the store open for us. It took us a while to walk through the entire store and I really couldn't believe all the vintage (and modern) toys I was seeing - they're everywhere. We could've been in there for hours but we felt bad/grateful that he waited for us and allowed us to walk around after hours. So we wanted to kinda hurry up and not overstay our welcome and take advantage of his kindness. At the time I was trying to find parts for my vintage millenium falcon, and I mentioned it in passing, so he directed me to a hidden drawer full of vintage star wars vehicle parts. I has excited to find a bunch hard-to-find and somewhat expensive pieces in good condition (ramp, cannons, window glass, etc) and bagged them up. He also had some vintage action figures at the counter that I added to the haul. As I tallied up the parts and figures in my mind I was expecting him to ring me up and begin our 'negotiation' but to my surprise he wraps it all up and just hands it to me with a smile!!!! Yes, he GAVE the parts and figures to me for NO CHARGE!! But wait, it gets better, THEN he tells my son to pick out some legos...again, FOR FREE!!! The whole experience with Toy Base 10 was amazing and memorable and was literally one of the highlights of our cross country trip. I will DEFINITELY make it a point to visit every time I'm in or even near Oklahoma. read more

This store has every type of collectible imaginable: Transformers, action figures, Legos, Star Wars, Spawn, models, G.I. Joe, etc. If you are looking for anything similar to these items, go search Toy Base 10. The sheer size of the store and the volume of collectibles that are present is mind-boggling. Once you find something, bartering with Steve is the experience of a lifetime. Never ask what the price is, because all he will say is his lovable catchphrase, "3,000 dollars", in a very deadpan face that one cannot help but take seriously the first time it happens. Steve is an amazing person: on our family excursions to the shop, he would always teach me and my brother something about business, or sometimes even life, whether that was learning how to haggle and not back down or finding something that you are passionate about. You can truly tell that Steve loves what he is doing, which is an excellent model for people of all ages searching for something to enjoy. He makes it easy to see how much he cares about his customers and the next generations of toy-lovers that are emerging. Steve is just an all-around great guy, whether you are waiting on someone who is still browsing or sweating under his intense bargaining tactics, he is always quick to make a joke or a hearty laugh.
