Linda is fantastic! Professional, reliable, & responds quickly. Plus, she obviously loves animals. That's a win in my book. I'm new-ish to Redondo Beach & haven't gone anywhere since March (hello COVID) & Linda took care of my cat, Sir Thomas, last week & I was totally happy with the entire process from start to finish. Animals Furrst - Sir Thomas - Pet Sitting Near Me

My husband and I first reached out to Animals Furrst about watching our cats when we were going to be gone for a short weekend getaway. We had never used a pet-sitting service before so we weren't sure what to expect. I contacted Animals Furrst through Yelp message and the owner, Linda, responded very quickly. We exchanged a few messages and set up a time for a meet and greet for her to meet our cats. Linda was super friendly and arrived on time. My husband and I felt super comfortable with her from the start. You can tell she really loves her job and the pets she watches. She is licensed and bonded, asked detailed questions about the cats, and conducted herself professionally. When our plans fell through last minute, Linda was completely understanding. Fortunately, we were thrilled to be able to hire her for real this past weekend. While we were gone, Linda checked in via text each day, administered meds to our older cat with no issues, and even sent a little video which we really loved. We also really appreciated that she brought in the mail while we were away. We will 100% contact Linda whenever we need a cat-sitter in the future. You can be confident that she will take great care of your pets, keep you informed, and be respectful of your home. read more

Can't say enough great things about Linda. She was friendly, professional, immediately made us feel at ease that she was the right person to entrust our fur babies to. Absolutely loved that she came over to meet the kitties and to learn where we kept things that she would need to take care of them. We got lots of pictures of our cats and she even stayed extra with our senior cat that needs insulin 2x/day to make sure she ate her food before administering the shot AND accommodating the 12hr intervals for food/shots. Talk about going above and beyond! She was even super chill when our Cujo kitty decided to use her toe as a snack lol. Seriously, if you're in need of someone to watch your pets and you're reading this review, you can stop looking because I doubt you'll find anyone better. 10/10 will be using again. Thanks Linda! read more

Linda has been my cat Kevin's sitter for the last two years that I lived in Torrance and she's terrific! He has kidney disease which means nausea and four different meds. My job also meant lots of last minute trips and cancellations but she never faltered or complained. So easy to book a job with her, easy to pay and she never forgot to take care of my high maintenance pet once scheduled. I don't know how I'll find a replacement for her in Vancouver but I'm pretty certain I won't find anyone quite as caring and reliable. Thank you so much for the last two years!! read more

Linda watched my cat for a week while I was on vacation in Hawaii. She is a friendly and caring person. I was very nervous at first because I'd never hired a service like this. Linda came to my home and my cat immediately took to her which was a relief because he doesn't always. She was professional, took notes of my cats needs and she sent me pictures on my trip which I really appreciated. I love knowing I can travel and trust Linda with my baby boy. Animals Furrst - Our pup Hoss - Pet Sitting Near Me

We adopted our beautiful little kitty, Gracie, in February of 2020, about six weeks before the lockdown. We had not been away from her for more than a night here and there for 16 months. Adding to that, she was diagnosed with a rare illness which makes it very painful for her to eat. Needless to say, we were very apprehensive to leave her for our first vacation. But then there was Linda! She came to our home for a meet and greet and Gracie, who is normally quite shy, opened up to her right away. Linda came twice a day, fed Gracie her special diet, constantly sent very much appreciated texts and videos that put our minds at ease. We actually stopped worrying and were able to enjoy our vacation knowing that Gracie had such excellent care! We have already booked Linda for our next trip and highly recommend her to care for your fur babies. Look no further if you need a professional, personable and dependable pet sitter! read more

We are so thankful to have found Linda! She stayed at our home for a long weekend over Thanksgiving and took care of our cats. After meeting Linda, we felt immediately at ease. You can tell she's a real, honest person who loves animals. She was an excellent communicator and made sure to check in a couple times a day. We usually worry about our pets while we are gone, but we felt very much that they were taken care of. The house was left in perfect condition. We give her "2 paws up"! read more

I'm so glad I found Linda to watch my 4 kitties! She is the best!!! A few days prior to my planned a 5-day vacation, I realized that I totally forgot to arrange for a pet sitter. Thank goodness, Linda came to the rescue! She came over prior to my trip to meet my cats and familiarize herself with the house and where all of the food and supplies are kept. She checked in with me every single day by text, often sharing pictures of the kitties. She made me feel very comfortable knowing that my cats were in good hands. She was also very friendly, professional, and affordable. I highly recommend her. You won't be disappointed ! read more

Linda is great!!! She's taken care of our three cats on a couple different occasions now. We feel so comfortable going away for a few days and know they'll be checked on and fed. She always includes pictures of them which is so nice to see :) We will always check with her to see if she's available for any upcoming trips. Thank you, Linda! read more

Worried about your furry baby? Worry no more! Linda had an enormous contribution to the success of our vacation. Not kidding! Oh, blessed peace of mind. She visited us to familiarize herself with the house and with our black cat Pisica. She asked for instructions to every little detail as for my preferences and the cat's. Then she came in precisely the days she promised, at exactly the times she said she would. She followed my preferences to the T, every single part, but also kept me posted at all times with text messages, photos and even videos of my baby. No safety concerns either, the key was left and found according to instructions. As a very heartfelt touch: she insisted on notifying her when we were back home, this time for her own peace of mind in regards to both us and the pet. In short: contact Linda and entrust your beloved pet into to her loving hands. It is, indeed, animal furrst aproach. read more

I am new to the area and had a trip planned to be out of town for 5 days. I have a rabbit and was worried about hiring someone who didn't understand how rabbits need to have food 24/7... then I found Linda at Animals Furrst. She assured me that she understood how diligent feeding a rabbit is, she's had three of her own and cared for countless others. We set up everything and all was set to go! She sent me photos of my baby every day and updates when she was there about how everything was going. Always answered my questions if I had any and was quick to respond. Very friendly and professional, I recommend her to anyone who needs their fur babies cared for. 10/10, 5 stars, I give her the highest rating possible. Thank you Linda! read more

I used Animals Furrst cat sitting services for the Furrst time last week and i could not be happier. Linda and Susan scheduled my meet n greet appointment right away and made me feel at ease about leaving my cats. I was leaving the country and had no cell service at my vacation spot. Susan gave me twice a day updates through whatsapp and my kitties looked happy n were well taken care of. Even though they were new to Susan, she picked up on their quirks n personalities within the first visits. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing my cats were cared for so i'm grateful to Susan for that. I just had a short notice work trip notification today and Susan replied she can take care of my cats again! I dont know how to thank you ladies. read more

From the moment Linda replied to my message on Yelp I knew I had stumbled on someone special. Making good on my first impression, after our meet and greet I felt completely comfortable having her watch my mini crew (2 dogs and a kitty). She is professional, took notes and asked clarifying questions during our meet and greet to make sure she had my pet's needs/schedules down. Additionally, she offered to bring in the mail and water the plants (so helpful). She is also a great commutator, I received daily texts and pictures while I was out of town. Linda readily provided references (all stellar) and lastly my pet's took to her immediately and that has a way of putting your mind at ease. I'm very happy and have 2 reservations in the next 2 months. read more

Animals Furrst - On a walk with Linda :) - Pet Sitting Near Me

We cannot say enough good things about Linda! We needed someone to care for our two bunnies while we were away for 5 weeks and I knew from the first time I spoke with Linda that she was perfect. Before we left, she came over to meet us and the bunnies so we could explain everything. While we were away we received a daily text with either an update, a photo or a video. She also went above and beyond many times - watering plants, cleaning the bunny area better than we do and picking up extra greens when we needed them. One day, we received an alert that our carbon monoxide detector was going off and Linda's response to my text asking if she was nearby was "on my way." She is that kind of person and I cannot stress enough how wonderful she is. Leaving your pets (and your home) in someone else's hands is not an easy thing -- Linda will make you feel so comfortable you will never question leaving again. read more

We were looking last minute for a kennel or dog sitter and saw the previous reviews on Yelp recommending Linda so we called her and the rest is history! She responded very quickly and provided us a breakdown of her services, which are very reasonable! Linda and her friend Susan are wonderful. They watched my 2 pugs in my home and took excellent care of them. They both met me and my pugs ahead of time and were very attentive. They followed all of my instructions and sent photos when they checked in every day. It was so reassuring to know that they were well taken care of while I was away and that my pups could stay in their own environment. I will definitely use their services again. read more

Linda is amazing! I knew from the moment we connected through Yelp that she cares deeply for animals and understands that they are like family members to us. She took such great care of my cat while I was away. Before the sitting, Linda was very thorough in taking notes and asking all the right questions. And during the visit to exchange keys, my cat met her liked her instantly so I knew he would have a great time with her. During the sitting, Linda would text me on her arrival which was always on time based on what she previously communicated, send video's and pictures and reassure me that he was in good hands. And that was definitely the case, because I returned home to very happy kitty. In addition to taking such great care of your pet, her pricing is also very very reasonable and you are getting someone who has been the best pet sitter I have ever experienced. My husband and I were planning a trip over the holiday weekend, and couldn't enlist any friends/family to check in on and feed our kitties. Enter Animals Furrst! Linda put us at ease and was absolutely great. We were able to enjoy our trip, knowing our cats were taken care of. She sent us pictures and an update each day, which gave us peace of mind. I know who we'll be reaching out to on our next vacation! read more

Linda was absolutely terrific taking care of our two rabbits for a month. Was a lot of work with keeping their indoor area cleaned up each day. Absolutely wonderful and kind person. Many thanks and would absolutely recommend talking to Linda about watching your pets. Thank you! read more

We hired Linda to take care of our two cats and our bearded dragon during our latest vacation. She did an exceptional job keeping them well fed and the litter boxes cleaned. One of our kitties required to have his teeth brushed everyday and Linda took care of that as well. Her fees are fair for the amount of care she provides. I will be hiring Linda to take care of our pets everytime we are traveling. read more

Linda is such a kind person, I knew after our initial meeting that our puppy was in good hands! She came highly recommended and with good reason. Great communicator, with frequent text updates - that was much appreciated since it was our first time leaving our puppy overnight. Like others here, a bit nervous about trying Linda's service for the first time but everything was great. We felt fortunate that she was able to accommodate us last minute during Christmas, and very reasonably priced. We've used a kennel if they didn't travel with us since the boy and girl are a bit on the big side, Shepard mix and Golden mix. Both friendly, too friendly sometimes, so they took to Linda and she was very patient with them. During our trip we got regular reports, even a video. Upon returning, they were very happy to see us as usual, but weren't quite as crazy as they can be . Seems like their staying at home and having a friendly, patient visitor several times a day was a much better choice than the kennel, and may have had a calming effect. After this experience, very happy to recommend her. You'll know she's a pet lover right away. read more

Linda is a true gem. We are so happy we found her because she is definitely putting our mind at ease when we leave our fur babies home alone. We have a newly adopted 2.5 year old pit bull who is not quite used to being on his own yet and a 12 year old chihuahua mix. They both took to her instantly and we so glad they are being well taken care of by someone they like. Linda is VERY flexible and luckily for us does not mind last minute appointments. We are looking forward to continuing to work with her in the future. Highly recommended! P.S. She sends us selfies she takes with our dogs while we are out and we LOVE it. read more

When we realized all of our friends who dog sit for us were coming to our wedding we were ecstatic.....until I realized I had no one to watch our two pitties while we were in Mexico for 8days! Talk about panic! I searched yelp and found a few pet sitters but no one stuck out until I emailed Linda. She quickly got back to me and even provided references right away. She came to meet our dogs and I could tell instantly had a connection with them. We've just returned and I am so grateful for Linda. She kept me updated and went the extra steps for my animals. When our flight was delayed and I wasn't responding to calls she got in contact with my best friend to make sure my dogs were ok and we were too! She even had a bottle of champagne waiting for us as a wedding gift when we got home. So thankful for Linda giving us peace of mind while we were gone. Will definitely be calling her again! read more

Linda was fantastic! She really cares about animals-she rescues cats or assists other foster places! I had her visit my place for 8 days to take care of 4 indoor cats and two outdoor strays. Their food & water were fresh and the litter boxes (3) were cleaned daily. I was able to relax knowing she was so dependable, professional, and competent (no problems with my alarm). I will most definitely use her in the future!! Thank you Linda!! read more

Linda was amazing when she watched our pups! She is always extremely responsive while we were trying to book her and when she was doing daily check ins. She came 3x a day a walked/checked in on our dogs. Our dogs are also not the easiest, the bark a lot, and she had no problem getting a long with them and walking them. Will absolutely use her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter. She shared videos and texts every time she went to visit that way I knew my dogs were well taken care of. When we got home the house was clean and the dogs were very happy. Thanks Linda!! read more

So we just got back in town from a three day trip and we had Linda come watch Hunter and Minnie. We, and they, couldn't be happier. I recently hired Linda to watch my cats for just over a week after seeing all of the glowing reviews on yelp. Everyone on here was absolutely correct - Linda was lovely and did an amazing job! She sent me updates every day, including some adorable videos and pictures. Also, my cat Zoey is extremely shy and rarely lets anyone near her, especially someone she doesn't know....but she warmed up to Linda right away and let her give her belly rubs on day 2 (that took me 2 years!). I always have so much anxiety about leaving my babies when I have to travel - but thanks to Linda & Animals Furrst I was able to travel without worry. Will hire again for sure! Highly recommend! read more

We were nervous about having someone come into our home and care for our two cats while we were away for a long trip, but Linda went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and safe. She was transparent with her policies and offered many references before we had even met. Then we met a few days before we left for the trip and she was wonderful with the cats and professional with her handling of our home. After just one visit, we felt so much better about leaving our cats for so long. Plus she's well known in the neighborhood. We are very happy with her services and recommend her to anyone who is nervous about leaving their pets! read more

Linda and Susan are wonderful cat sitters. I have 4 kitties that have medical conditions and require medication. As anyone who is owned by a cat knows, they don't really like to take meds. Linda was persistent and while one of them was hissing at her, managed to squirt the liquid med into him! How's that for persistence!?! One of the things I really need from a sitter is communication. I had contacted 3 other organizations to sit my fur babies, and NONE (that's right, NONE) called me back the same day. Linda did within 1 hour! As with many other Reviewers, Linda and Susan came to my home to meet with me and my crew. Twice to ensure they got the routine right. While I was gone, she also sent me pictures of my little babies and kept in contact. I'm so thrilled to have found Animals Furrst! You won't be disappointed when you hire them. read more
