The shelter is clean, very well organized, staffed, supplied, connected (with rescues and relevant other organizations), and supported. The kennels are cleaned, the dogs and cats cared for, well-fed and watered, walked, rehabilitated if needed, given some training, and treated with the love and respect all living creatures deserve. The way the indoor/outdoor kennels are built, the yard, and fenced areas, all contribute to making this shelter an impressive one, especially relative to others I've seen. I may have issues with some of the entities, or individuals, at times. In my experience, the mission comes first and most people agree with the overall goals, if not each method or policy. Listen, there is plenty to criticize. Unless you're willing to roll-up your sleeves and open your wallet to improve things, miss me with your complaints. It's also easy to judge those who surrender animals. Without knowing the full story of each, I'm aware that often it's gor the animal's welfare and a last resort and agonizing decisions by their previous families. Again, save your criticisms for a receptive audience. It ain't me. Bring a donation, bring your time and talent, bring supplies and/or financial support. This place is ours and will be as good as we make it. Watching the improvements and upgrades in recent months and longer, I can't help but be impressed by our generous community and our values and priorities. The shelter is a good example, for better and worse. Their visibly, online presence, social media information, community outreach and education, and advocacy efforts are second to none.

IF PEOPLE DID THEIR PART AND HAVE THEIR PETS SPAYED OR NEUTERED WE WOULD NOT BE AT MAXIMUM CAPACITY MOST OF THE TIME. Don't blame the animals. It's owners who need to be educated on the treatment and care of all pets.

It had lots of cats with very different personalities. Some were sleepy, playful, or annoyed haha. So if you are looking for a place to adopt a cat I definitely recommend coming here. Let me go over the good and bad stuff. Pros: *Cute cats *Clean Bathroom *Entertainment *Lots of places to sit *Chill environment *Good Service *Nice drink and snack menu Cons: *Can be very packed (it depends on the day we went on a weekend maybe week days are better) causing not a lot of cats to be available. So honestly overall an amazing place. Only bad thing was we went when it was really packed and really didn't get to experience a lot of the cats up close. But other than that the cats seem happy. There is also a fun entertainment system where you can play music or video games. Definitely give this place a try because they are doing something great and saving these cats to find them a home. So go and experience it yourself and leave a review!!!! Also let me know if this review was helpful!

Cats laid around everywhere. Lizzy (I'm not sure how she spelled it) was perfect for that place. Her laid back vibe and charming demeanor helped to make the place so much more chill. She offered us refreshments and told us fun things for each cat. The snacks and refreshments up front looked amazing - brownies, muffins, cupcakes, and coffee, tea, and water. Do yourself a favor and try it out. It's such a cool, sweet place.
