What I want everyone to know before they give up significant cash for these bowls is, the bowl you receive will look significantly different from the bowls they picture. Their website has beautifully stained bowls, but you will receive raw wood. You can compare the two in the picture I have provided. They were to be a gift, but the raw wood covered with prominent markings from wood imperfections is not gift material. When I asked why the bowls shipped were so different from their pictures, Mia said, "The pictures from the website are of 'Mature' bowls, that develop that color over time." If it is not obvious to you, this is false- other than wood exposed to sun and weather, wood does not change its color over time. Wood certainly doesn't change to a lustrous stained look by itself! These can be pricey to ship, and they only refund the value of the bowls. I am out $77 in shipping both ways due to their deception. I cannot stain the bowls and have them cure of the VOC's before Christmas, so I had few options. I will pursue getting that money back. Finally, they boast that these bowls have 100% 5 star ratings. They use Judge.me for their reviews, which allows them to remove any reviews they don't like. I posted a two star review, showing these pictures, and it was removed. Just one more of their deceptions.

Not sure what happened between the kitchen and our server, but 2 of 3 main courses came out cool. One was my crab-stuffed sole and the other was our son's $85 filet mignon. We had to let the server know. She brought over the manager who said they would "reheat" our dishes. I questioned him, um, "reheat" not remake? He said he could redo them but the steak will take 25 minutes (son's father had already dug into his duck by this point). Manager said if we try reheating it and it's not to our liking he'd take the steak (no mention of the sole) off the bill. We said fine, let's try reheating so as to resume eating asap. Of course the steak was no longer medium-rare and my fish was pretty awful. The most annoying thing is that he/manager NEVER acknowledged my meal being cold and removing it from the bill. Only my son's steak. Why? I don't know. In general, I think the food here is overpriced and very underwhelming. Now I know and I don't need to go back.Food did not have the flavors outlined in the descriptions. Our Waitress was very good though (not her fault the food was not to par for the price). After comparing prices, we found that Burlington Furniture was quoting us $2,000 more than a California company, even with shipping and assembly included. Still, we wanted to support a local business, so we returned to Burlington Furniture, and they agreed to match the competitor's price. We were given an estimated delivery date of 4/30. When we followed up, we were surprised to hear that our furniture wouldn't arrive for nearly two more months. We understand that delays happen, but we were frustrated by the lack of communication. I called the manager to get clarity and was told that the employee who gave us that update was no longer with the company. She promised to follow up--which she did--but she didn't provide a new delivery timeline. Instead, she told us the order wasn't actually delayed and that deliveries typically arrive two weeks after the estimated date. It's unclear why the original estimate wouldn't account for that window, and what's worse, I never heard back from the manager again. Ultimately, the delivery company brought our furniture just five days after the estimated date, which we appreciated--but the poor communication and lack of accountability from Burlington Furniture left a bad impression. We're happy with the product, but extremely disappointed in the service. Sadly, this experience has cost Burlington Furniture a customer.

He promised that the shades I would be getting would look exactly like the ones I have up. When BB installed them, I was appalled. There is a horrible string in the middle of them that I was never told would be there. It is cheap and looks horrible. I called them to see what we could do and they told me there is nothing. Then Aaron said that he told me the string would be there, which is not true. I would not work with Budget Blinds again. Cheyenne also stated that she would help me with this but did not.
