At Revolution, there are both new and locally-designed clothing as well as reasonably priced consigned clothes, shoes, and accessories that are in good shape. Whenever I go to Revolution, I feel good knowing that I'm supporting a cool local community store that gives back to the community. Pssst, don't be surprised if you're offered a latte to sip while you shop. There are toys for kids to play with too while you shop. This is a true gem of a store and White River Junction and the Upper Valley is so much the better for it.

Today Dennis and I were on a hunt for a old mantel for our naked basement fireplace. We found a beauty of one that was in good shape. It had a ton of old paint on it but with some elbow grease it will be like new when done. We also bought a cool cast iron enameled sink that fits into a small corner. Perfect for the small water closet in the basement! All for $300 plus tax. The owner gave us a small break in price, when we asked. So cool!! While vacationing in Vermont, I needed a cheap large suitcase to bring home my shopping. I stumbled…read moreupon this charming thrift store on July 17, where the helpful staff (husband and wife) offered me a perfect-size suitcase they had been using for storage at a ridiculously low price. When I tried to pay more to support their worthy cause, they refused, so I had to buy more instead!I found a great selection of high-quality, brand-new Naot sandals, as well as some Nalgene water bottles. Then they gave me an additional 15% off my total (i had to chuckle that they were thwarting my effort to support the cause). Overall it was a wonderful reminder of small-town hospitality. Stop in for great values and genuinely lovely people.

Some were neatly folded but rest of stuff just thrown on. Doesn't seem like they take pride in working there. Also, PLEASE Check your receipts BEFORE leaving store, as I got home and looked at mine and was charged an extra $2.00. I also went one time and got charged for 15 items when I only purchased 12, and I called the store up immediately and explained what happened and that I had the tags to prove it and they told me they would give me a credit next time I shopped there, and I brought the tags with me and they never gave me the credit.
