This review is long overdue, but I've had the pleasure of hiring Rojas Painting on three separate…read moreoccasions, and I can't recommend them highly enough. After the first job, Oscar and his team were so fantastic that I never even bothered getting a quote from any other painter for the second or third job. Each time, the quote was fair, the work was done impeccably, and the crew was always respectful and professional. Oscar and his team have painted interior spaces, cabinets, and even an exterior for me--each job turned out absolutely perfect. Most recently, I had some questions about dry rot repairs that a carpenter had completed during the exterior job. I sent a text to the project manager to ask if we could meet the next day to discuss it. To my surprise, Oscar himself showed up bright and early, ready to talk through my concerns. He was determined to ensure everything was right, even though, not surprisingly, they know more about carpentry than I do, and there was nothing that needed fixing! Oscar still took the time to validate my concerns and walk me through everything--true professionalism at its finest. I've worked with many contractors over the years, but Rojas Painting stands out in every way. If you're looking for quality work and a team you can trust, look no further.

In addition, Erick also helped repaint my previous salon studio back to its original colors in a very quick and timely manner, which allowed me to receive my full deposit back without any issues. I was so impressed with the final results and overall experience that I decided to hire him again for my home project as well. -P.aesthetics

We needed someone who could handle a few tricky home updates, and Erick at E Custom Designs Inc…read more delivered beyond expectations. We were replacing two 20-year-old sliding doors that were stuck, plus remodeling a fireplace--but not just any remodel. We wanted a modern design without losing our grandfathered-in wood-burning functionality, which is extremely important to us. With the sliding doors, Erick faced a real challenge. Our house sits on a slope and had shifted over time, which meant installing the new doors required redoing the decking on one side and leveling out the concrete on the other--issues we hadn't even considered. But Erick's eye for precision and commitment to quality made it all come together beautifully. As for the fireplace, I had a very specific vision: remove the outdated cut-out to create more living space, preserve the wood-burning feature, and incorporate a fresh design using limewash paint. The first color we picked ended up being completely off. Erick was so understanding and told us, "Pick the right color, and when you're ready, we'll make it happen." Even though this set his schedule back (and I know how tight those are in his line of work), he never pressured us to rush. Once I finally landed on the right shade, his team was back the very next day to finish it quickly and flawlessly. His attention to detail, beautiful custom carpentry, and collaborative design approach were exactly what we needed. Not to mention--when our water heater broke, my husband called him, and Erick had someone out the very next day. He genuinely cared and said, "I get it--cold showers and little kids don't mix." Truly A+ service. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I highly recommend Erick and E Custom Designs Inc.--you won't regret working with them. PS Photos to come

This review could go on for paragraph after paragraph if I were to cover every area of our satisfaction in detail. Steve came out to estimate the job and asked all the right questions and listened, because his bid mentioned everything we spoke about. It was clear, concise, and very reasonable. His guys came out to pressure rinse the house and made sure the surface was very clean. Even that step showed attention to detail. Then they went to work, a couple of days later, and the prep work amazed me. Every crack in our stucco (most of which I didn't even notice) was filled. Every gap that had shown up over the years filled. From inside the house I heard sanding, scraping, hammering, more sanding, more scraping... Every lamp and fixture removed or covered carefully. Every single plant, outdoor furniture, our sheds, fence, etc all protected from overspray. Our very weathered 45 year old wood garage sanded (it now looks new). Everything in the prep phase I felt was done more than any other contractor would have done. I could tell that these guys cared about the final result - NOTHING was overlooked, no blemish was brushed-over. The job was tough because we didn't want our gutters or downspouts painted. All of that had to be taped and covered. The underside of the eves were painted, at our request, the color of our trim and that required more difficult taping and covering too. The end result is amazing. All lines cut in perfectly, no mistakes, no paint where it doesn't belong, no plants harmed, not a shred of paper or piece of tape remained. His guys are great too. A very friendly crew who worked their butts off in temperatures that got into the 90's. They were always pleasant and work as a team. They didn't play music or talk on their phones, they worked. As they were cleaning up I saw one of them moving the bark back up against the foundation by hand. It all was THAT important to them for the place to look perfect. So, if you go elsewhere I respectfully say, "Shame on you". I will say without reservation, this is the highest recommendation that I could give for a company. There is no way that we could have done better than these guys.

He took the time to walk around the house with me, answered all of my questions, and paid attention to the little details that others seemed to overlook. They matched my existing house color perfectly and updated the trim to complement the existing gutters, giving my home a fresh, clean, finished look. I honestly can't get over how much better my house looks. It's amazing what a difference a quality paint job can make (at a budget-friendly price point too). What impressed me even more was how quickly they got everything done without sacrificing quality. The crew was professional, hardworking, respectful of my property, and clearly took pride in their work. Every day they showed up ready to work, and the finished product speaks for itself. My husband works graveyard shifts, so taking on a project of this size ourselves just wasn't realistic. Hiring John and his team was one of the best decisions we've made for our home. They made the entire process easy and stress-free, and the craftsmanship is outstanding. If you're looking for an honest, detail-oriented painter who delivers exceptional results, I wholeheartedly recommend John Schoettler Painting. Allow me to say that hearing this convinced me of the quality and effort Dennis Bonilla and his Left Coast painters would be putting into restoring and painting our Santa Rosa home. This, indeed, was borne out by the excellent job done on our home. Consider: Prep work: Replacing failing siding and dry rot were not something we had really thought about when looking for a company to paint our house. We solicited five bids for the job and found that some companies do not offer repair; we would have to find someone else to do this job before painting could begin. Choosing colors: Dennis was very accommodating and pleasant as we struggled with this. We felt no pressure to make up our minds. Three times he applied multiple sample paints to the house before we came to a decision. Speed: Dennis scheduled our job for a month in advance, which was quick considering what time frames others gave us. Once the job began, there was no dilly-dallying, excuses or no-shows; they were very punctual. It was also going to be performed after Thanksgiving, and we were lucky with the weather--or was it that he had SIX workers on our job? Suffice it to say, the day after it was finished, it poured rain! Their presence: The workers were very tidy, cleaning up and stacking their supplies at the end of each day. They were careful with the plants surrounding the house. And no arguing or music blaring! I liked these men; they were pleasant and open to discussing how the job was going. By the end of the week, I was kind of sorry to see them go! Cost: The bill ultimately came to only $800 over the estimate, which surprised us. Because of one particularly bad spot of dry rot (there's that "poor workmanship" referred to), they had had to brace the ceiling inside the kitchen as a precaution. We had expected some major boost in price, but no. In summary, I would highly recommend Left Coast Painting. They were skilled, tidy, prompt and pleasant. Use them if you are looking for professionals to paint your house; you won't regret it!
