We were seated by the window so we were able to look out and enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Cadillac. Our service was great! Very nice and friendly. Nice quaint restaurant. Our food was delicious! First visit July 6: we took our spark jet ski to Spicer's because it would beep and shut off. We…read morefigured it was a sensor but weren't sure. their tech spent 6 hours diagnosing a problem and had to split the haul. Said it was spark plugs. $1100. We put it in the water and the jet ski now did not beep but now would not go faster than 32 mph. Also, they lost our oil cap and had to reorder one. Second visit July 13: they took less than an hour to diagnose a throttle sensor. This was another $400 charge. We put it in the water and issue remained the same- would not go above 32 mph which typically means it isn't firing all cylinders. Third visit July 27: when we dropped it off they claimed "this is on us". They split the haul again and claimed the connector had been bent and the fix was an engine harness for $1400. We asserted that this had to have been done by their tech on visit 1 as no one has touched that since it was manufactured. They claim it was the problem all along. Picked it up on aug. 5 the haul was still split. We got it home and we bent the connector to make it tight. The jet ski has worked perfectly since then.

He is also a rider and very knowledgeable of all the brands they sell. They have a pretty good selection of SkiDoo and Polaris sleds on display so you can see all the different features. After the purchase they introduce you to the service and parts people and I also got a great demonstration on how all the new goodies work. These new sleds are just as hi-tech as cars these days! As much as new toys cost now it's nice to deal with a company that appreciates your business. There is a reason they've stayed in business for so long.

We had such high hopes for a great day on the water. We had three families and rented a very large…read morepontoon and tube for tubing. We were told to be at the landing at 10:30 for an 11 o'clock reservation. We were greeted with a man very irritated with us dropping off our coolers and bags. Apparently we were supposed to walk everything down from the parking lot. Not a problem but we were not told and there wasn't a sign. We didn't need to start our day with attitude but no big deal. The boat shows up at 11:10. We now have been waiting for 40 minutes. Kind of irritating but we are looking forward to a good day, so again, we shake it off. We take the boat out and it immediately stalls. We can not go faster than a very slow speed. We tried calling for about a half hour with no answer. We finally get someone and they say the fix to this problem, is to go sit at the sand bar for half an hour. Didn't send anyone out, they just want us to go sit. After sitting for about 1-5 to 2 hours, trying to make the best of the situation, we tried it again and it's still stalling. After calling them back again, they were angry with US. We are now arguing with them by phone and text in the middle of the lake on our fun day out. They have no solution and the only thing they offered was to take $100 off of our rental. We couldn't use the boat or the tubes and paid $600 for the day. The last thing they said, as you can see from the picture of the text, is that we need to still pay for the gas and "congratulations" on making them give us money back. They couldn't have been more petty at this point. We would have been more upset with the absurdity of them asking that, but we didn't use any gas because THE BOAT DIDN'T WORK. They ended up refunding us $225 after all that. We still paid too much but it's not worth the fight. Sometimes things happen that are unfortunate, but to be treated so terribly the entire time was just not right. To get nasty with us and not even come out to see if they could fix the boat, was unprofessional. The text message was rude and uncalled for. I would not recommend this company and certainly would never use them again.
