There's not much Thai food in Berlin, so this place doesn't have a lot of competition. That said,…read morethe menu is about what you'd expect anywhere in the world; various fried starters, soups and salads, some noodle dishes, a bunch of curries, and some desserts. There's a big drink menu. We recommend the ginger teas, which are freshly made (no powder or tea bags here!). Vegetarian options are basically the first noodle dish on the list, and the first curry (green). Everything else apparently has fish sauce. Food was flavorful, tasty and just the right portion, though by far the least spicy green curry I've ever had. It's a bit expensive for the neighborhood but you're paying for the location right on the canal. Sit outside and enjoy the view! One star taken off for the inflexibility of fish sauce and vegetarian options. Also, the restrooms are not gender neutral.

Found this place quite by accident when my husband and I were looking for a Turkish place someone…read morerecommended to us. This place is mainly Thai, rather than a fusion restaurant as advertised. First, the restaurant itself it adorable. You can sit outdoors if the weather is to your liking, with candles on the tables at night. Inside, there are many family style tables and some two person tables as well. During the evenings they host "Club Chan" which really means that there's a DJ doing the music. It was loud inside compared with most German restaurants I've been to, but not loud American style--it was unobtrusive. Service: Pretty good. All the servers spoke perfect English. Food: Honestly, everything we ordered was amazing. We had the Thai spring rolls, tofu pad Thai and the duck masaman curry. Both were tasty, hot and clearly made of very fresh ingredients. The duck was not greasy at all, and crisped up to perfection. The tofu wasn't tough, and had great flavors in the pad Thai. Drink: I had a very tasty (though pricey) mojito and my husband enjoyed a miso yaki highballer. They definitely aren't cheap on the alcohol content. Price: A little high for Thai, but not overpriced compared with the neighboring restaurants. I'd say it's a good option for a date, or even a group of people (not more than 6-8). Bonus: they take cards!!
