Giving Thanks on this weekend…read more... This review of Melanie comes with such gratitude and love. I received a last minute work assignment notice to Florida. My hair looked like it needed a haircut and a color (bad!). Melanie was kind enough to come in on her day off and on a moments notice! I knew I needed to color my hair but this kind and generous woman had already accommodated me by coming in on her day off. I was NOT going to ask for that additional labor. I was happy with the cut. But she she just couldn't let me go without having my color done. So what does she do? She canceled her appointment so that she could do my color! The atmosphere in the salon was very fun, we were laughing and joking throughout my entire time there. Very positive energy. I have short hair and the cut is very cute and the color has lasted. I have waited 30 days to make this review so that it would be honest and accurate. I will travel up to Lake Mary to have follow up cuts while I'm in this area working. I cannot thank Melanie enough for what she did for me. You won't go wrong getting a haircut here. And the price is a third of what I was paying in Austin, Texas and the Oakland County, Detroit, Michigan metro area. Highly highly recommend.

She took extra steps to allow me to donate the hair getting cut off! She understood my hair type without me having to say much! The cut was amazing, she knew exactly what my hair needed without me having to explain, as if she read my mind. I had a hard time putting into words what color I wanted, however she helped me and NAILED IT perfectly! The color could not have been better! Amanda also was very very welcoming, offered a range of refreshments, and took time getting every detail of my visit right. Ellie was also a great help, very attentive in her parts, and very nice. She reached out via text instead of calling, which to me was very considerate and convenient. The work I had done (color and cut) left me very happy, and I actually had compliments on it after, so yay! The salon is super cute and they even sell clothes and accessories there, so definitely check out their reception area while you wait.
