I paid Angel to detail a car for my daughter as a gift. She is a full time student and doesn't have a lot of money. Angel and his wife arrived and attempted to upsell services she didn't need and couldn't afford. They were there for an hour and didnt wash the outside of her car. It still had bird crap on the roof. Save yourself the time, the hassle and money. Go with someone reputable and professional. Will never use Angel's services again. Read his 1 star reviews, they all have the same theme. Angel and his wife are extremely nice people. I purchased the discounted $250 package deal on Groupon for two cars. Both cars were completely empty and lightly vacuumed prior to their arrival. Weeks after notifying me an hour after they were supposed to be here for the first of many missed appointments, they showed up early and ready to get started. (he did offer to refund due to delays and canceled appointments, I chose to continue based on reviews, I should have taken him up on this offer in hindsight) They did a decent job, but it was not as good as the detailing I would have had at the local car wash for a $35 hand wash and interior cleaning. In fact the local car wash does a better job. As pointed out in other reviews, he did up-selling of $40 per car for clay bar polishing, which I thought would be included for the price. He also wanted extra to clean the engines. All in all, the cars are clean and waxed but not even close what one would expect for the price. Angel came to our place to clean my two cars. He and his friend have worked for 6 hours without taking any break. I called couple of places in north county area and detailing service for small SUV and sedan were $500-650. Angel gave offered me $300 for two car ($165 for small suv and $135 for sedan) and his did wonderful job!! I have gotten many car detailing service last 15 years and angel is the best of best. Totally unreliable. Your experience might be better, but I'll tell you what happened to me. Called on a Thursday morning and it was raining, to see if I could get my car detailed before noon on Friday. "Angel" told me they wouldn't be able to get to me in before noon on Friday, but they had availability today... Thursday. The rain had let up and per the weather report, there wasn't supposed to be anymore rain the rest of the day (this is at noon) and from the looks of the sky, it looked like it would remain clear. I was very happy they were going to be able to accommodate me and I told them I was home and would be for the rest of the day and they could come anytime. Angel told me they would come at 5:30pm on Thursday. I gave him my address and cell phone and told him if there were any problems to contact me. Especially if they weren't going to make it. Well, 5:30pm came and no sign of anyone from Angel's Mobile Auto. I called and spoke to the same person I spoke to at noon, however, this time he acted as if we had never spoken. Then when he did finally remember, he asked me what my address was!! I gave him my address, again, and after a minute or two on the phone, he asked me if I was on some other address?!?! I literally just told him my address and he was asking if I was on a completely different street with a completely different number. Angel said he could send his people now but his office is in Escondido and that's an easy 30 minutes away without traffic. But it's now 5:30pm, peak traffic time, so it would likely take them an hour to get to my place and a good wash/wax and detail is going to take about 2 hours. I've read they do good work; I guess I'll never find out. I could have easily called another company who might also have been able to come out today or take care of me before noon tomorrow when I have to leave town. But as it is, it's too late in the day to call anyone to see if I can get something scheduled before noon tomorrow so I'm basically out of luck getting my car detailed before my trip. The very least they could have done was to call me and let me know they couldn't make it and give me the opportunity to find someone else. But if I hadn't even called at 5:30, the scheduled time, I suspect he never would have shown up and never would have called. Maybe they do good work but for me, completely unreliable and I will never use businesses like that. read more

They detailed my husbands large truck at our business and then a few weeks later they came to our home and worked on my Subaru and also his BMW motorcycle. They were so late the sun was going down so we scheduled another appt for them to do the other half of their job, exterior... they were no call, no show multiple times. My van was REALLY DIRTY not only was it full of kid grime but we also went camping before we had it detailed. Angel did a great job. He took pride in his work and it shows. He had reasonable prices and worked so hard. I was very impressed and I will be calling again. The next day I was able to trade in my van at a dealer for full blue book value. After reading all of the amazing reviews of this place, I'm extremely shocked and very disappointed by my experience with this company. I purchased a Groupon for a complete "mobile" auto detail. Although the Groupon states that you have to be within 20 miles of 92069, there is no actual address listed. San Marcos from one end to the other (north/south) is about 10-12 miles, so you really have no idea if you are within the 20 mile radius. I am located in Carmel Valley, which i suspect is somewhere around 22-26 miles, depending on where they are located, so not a LOT farther than the 20 mile radius. When I scheduled my appointment, Angel asked if I would be willing to pay an extra $20 since i was outside their 20 mile radius (still not giving me an address). I reluctantly agreed. On the day my appointment was scheduled, they did not show up. When I called about 2 hours after my appointment time, they told me that they cancelled all their appointments for the day because it was supposed to rain. They said they texted everyone. They did not text me. This was towards the end of May. So today I call back to reschedule the appointment. Angel answered the phone and told me i was outside their radius. When i explained that i was willing to pay the extra $20 (these guys are awesome right? Should be worth it!), he basically said no. He was not willing to honor the deal under any circumstances. WOW! I hope no one else has this experience, but i will not be contacting them again. I've gotten Groupon to refund my money. read more

Awesome!! I needed a last minute car detailing for my dad's car so I called Angel and he was able to come that same day. Now, my dad's car was REALLY dirty. It hadn't been detailed in years and there was dirt, melted candy stuck to the bottom of the cupholder, etc. When Angel and his team were done it looked brand new! I couldn't believe it. I too found this place through Groupon, and I'm telling you, I'm keeping his number in my Rolodex (remember those, kids?) I asked him for additional cards to hand out for friends. So first of all, he shows up EARLY. Can you believe this? I can't. Late, I expect. Early? (He did call ahead to see if that was okay.) Heck yeah, I want more time for my car to dry! And second, his van is rigged up like some Matrix stuff is going on in there. Cables, pumps, electronics, water. It's all jam-packed in there. He's completely independent of any of your needs: power, water, etc. And third, he's THOROUGH. He went under the back seats, yo. He cleaned out my cupholders. This is the BEST my car has looked since I bought it used. Headline restoration and all. My truck is 17 years old and has a tan interior, and carries horse stuff, combat armour, and camping gear. It's a truck that gets USED. And it has a tan interior. (Did I mention that? Only thing about my truck I don't like. And I LOVE my truck.) He makes me wish I'd taken before pictures, but I've had Groupon detailing before and I honestly wasn't expecting that much. But no more. My standards have been set, but I'm calling him back here to do it. (Seriously, he comes to YOU! For prices comparable to places I'd have to go, drop off my car, and wait hours! I just asked him to come to my work during a workday, and my truck is done, and dries, while I work. How convenient is that??) Changed the appointment times on me twice. When they finally did come to detail my car they came later than what was said. It was a Groupon deal. Was not happy the way the car came out. Windows were all very streaky and spots on my car were not buffed out like I was told. A worker was smoking a cigarette while my car doors were open near my car. My car was really dirty, hadn't been cleaned in a really long time. So I went by the good reviews and took my car to this place for detailing. I was so pleased with the results! The car came out shining when it was done. The interiors had been nicely cleaned up. There were some tough stains on the dashboard and seat covers which were all gone after cleaning. Both the guys were really nice, they even gave us a ride to the nearby mall so we could kill time while they were working on the car. The whole process took about two hours.
