Jeff and his crew did a beautiful job with the interior of our 1880s farmhouse at a fair price. We presented him with a challenging job: he took care of some very rough wood beam ceilings and uneven plaster & lathe walls and made them look smooth and fresh. He did this under Justin's supervision and when it all went to hell (the job is still half done) Justin walked away with all the remaining money, provided no receipts, and ceased to communicate. Justin let a crook ruin my building (while he was collecting 15% on top of the subcontractor's wage) and then after letting things go terribly wrong he was not not man, or businessman, enough to make things right. I wouldn't trust him to paint a doghouse and if I did I would NOT give him money up front.

First of all we never asked for a 100% refund. We only asked for half of what we paid you back…read more. Yet we have not received anything. We asked you multiple times when you could come back. You never told us, so we went with someone else. Who finished the job within one day and had no issues. We also did not walk on the tiles, but finding excuses is your forte. Car problems, baby sitter, hospital, tiles being walked on, warped wood? I tried to be as patient as possible. My wife on the other hand knew you were sketchy when you brought your 6 year old son and your 24 year old fiancé to our house to do work. You should of expected this bad review Chris.

He's trying to make it seem like he's the victim here but he's not. He said he'd have a job done in one or two days, and 2 days later it was still only half done. He said he had car issues so we gave him almost an entire week before I called someone else to finish the job because we had company coming, which he knew about. He accused us of walking on the floors and I told him that we hadn't, we had been swinging our legs around and climbing straight into our tub. After hiring someone else to finish the one job of finishing the bathroom floor, I let him know that I'd appreciate half our money back since he only completed half the work. My husband gave him another chance to come and complete the work but he said it was going to take another whole week. That being said we told him we were done with him and wanted the refund. He brought his fiance and her son to our home without asking permission, he told my husband when he was almost here that they were with him. He complained about our laminate because it was old and not enough when he told us it was fine during his estimate visit . I have pictures of the work after he stopped showing up, as well as the text asking for half our money back. He is still harassing us and threatening to sue because of a negative review that he earned. Consumer Review Fairness Act of 2016 protects us though.
