Over the last 15 years, I have had the privilege to have Dr. Carter as part of my health team, and…read moreit's been extremely healing and helpful. I have had consistent health issues from staph infections and shingles, to problems with my nervous and lymphatic system, anemia and chronic allergies at a young age. Some of these conditions have been harder to treat, owing to the lack of a well-known root cause and/or diagnosis; this has been extremely frustrating, not only because of the pain and illness, but because of the lack of empathy, care and love I have experienced in the traditional medical system. Dr. Carter has been the one doctor that has really listened to me in a very healing way. He has validated my concerns and has not not rushed to diagnose something just to check a box. Instead of making assumptions, he has patiently walked with me through this journey to health with a lot of loving care, empowering me in every step of the way to take control of my health. I have had experiences with many doctors that simply don't show care or empathy; with Dr. Carter, I have felt that he cares for me as a patient in a holistic way, and this in itself has been incredibly healing for me. Not only that, but his evaluations and recommendations have been the most effective throughout my healing journey, as a result of his holistic, personal, and balanced approach. As an anthropologist, I have studied the traditional and fundamental role of healthcare providers over time and in a variety of cultures: a trusted person who cares for the total wellbeing of their patient. Dr. Carter truly embodies this model of care. It is a real privilege to be under the care of Dr. Carter, and I highly recommend him.

From the moment I walked in, I felt safe--safe to be myself, to open up, and to face things I had carried for so long. Helga held space with so much care and wisdom. Her presence is grounding, and her guidance is powerful. Even though I have knowledge in hypnosis myself, I was blown away by her skill in guiding regression-to-cause work. She knows exactly how to support deep transformation without pushing--just gently walking beside you. After our sessions, I felt a huge weight lifted. That peace stayed with me. The pain, the triggers, the anger I used to carry--they're just... gone. And in their place, there's lightness, joy, and real peace. Helga is a true healer. If you're ready for real change, I can't recommend her enough.

I have all these really upset emotions from childhood experiences that shaped my perception of myself as being lacking worth, value and confidence. In adulthood, I did a lot of work to understand what took place and why. I have been able to fully rationalize and understand the psychology and the interpersonal dynamics. Having developed that understanding is great, but it has never HEALED me. The emotional experience and the resulting perceptions of myself are like a sliver or splinter stuck in my skin. I can tell you the story of how the sliver got there. I can rationalize why it splintered off the wood and is lodged in my finger. I can explain why my finger hurts and an infection is forming around the splinter. All that talk is NOTHING. The splinter needs to be extracted. I have concluded that regression hypnosis can extract the splinters and shards of life that lodge themselves in our subconscious.
