I would not recommend Angelo's Towing based on my experience. They were dispatched through AAA to jump-start my truck. Instead, the driver removed both truck batteries from my vehicle, said he was taking them to the shop to charge them, and promised to return them in a couple of hours. The batteries were not returned that day. The next morning, my truck was still sitting without batteries. When I contacted the company, I was told this was not something they normally do, and they had to track down the driver. The situation became even more uncomfortable when the driver later asked me directly for my address, despite this being an AAA-dispatched service call. He eventually came back without making contact with us, reinstalled the batteries, left the truck running, and texted only after he was gone. This was a deeply unsettling and unprofessional experience. Customers should not have to chase down a towing company to get their own vehicle batteries returned. I would strongly caution others before using Angelo's Towing. read more

We requested help from Angelo's for a leaky tire. Caleb found us right away and quickly assessed the problem. He was speedy, polite, and efficient. Here is my dealing with this company: I called AAA to get someone to come test my battery and alternator as my 93 ford pu would not turn over. They were sending Angelo's Towing And Recovery. I waited. When they didn't show up at the allotted time I called Angelos...Jason said AAA had not sent any information to them. So I called AAA again. The dispatcher said they said that they had but then saw heading my way then dissappear on the screen. She sent the call for service again. I called ATR again. Jason told me that William would be at my address soon. William called me and he said he would be there in 5 mins. William from ATR showed up...he checked the battery and alternator w a scanner and also did a diagnostic test. William told me the alternator was good but the battery was totally dead. He told me that AAA sells Diehard Batteries for $200 plus...w a 3 year warranty...I told him that was a good deal but I told him my battery was still under warranty and that I could get it replaced for free. I asked him if he could get the connectors off...William said that there was $30 charge for that...I said that's ok...ill try to get them off. I gave him a $5 tip. He left. I was able to remove the post connectors and put them in a car that a friend had loaned me... I went to autozone. An employee removed the battery and he tested it...it was nothing wrong w the battery. It was fully charged. The AZ employee put the battery back in the car. I called Jason at Angelo's and I told him I wanted a copy of the diagnostic test that William took. He gave me a number to call 251.329.6466 to talk to Brandon about it. I did call and left a message...that was Friday...I have not received a call back. Nothing was wrong w the battery. It was the post connection which was replaced. Angelo's towing and Recovery employees William and Jason tried to scam me out of $200 plus...caused me undue stress and possible physical harm because that battery was really heavy by having to remove that battery and take it up to Autozone when I didn't have to...I am 70 years old and I believe they were trying to take advantage of a senior citizen...I want my tip back...I plan on making formal complaints to BBB...AAA and Alabama Attorney General Consumer Complaints for trying to scam and take advantage of a senior citizen read more
