The acoustics in the building are so atrocious that, if there's music in one event room, people can't hear the speaker or each other in the other gathering room. So I found some clean, undamaged foam boards and asked whether they'd like them. They said yes, and I brought them in to cover the glass door to one of the rooms. Then someone they'd known longer came along and opined that SEEING styrofoam would cause people to buy it, and they threw it into the dumpster. So now they still have rotten sound, and those foam boards will be leaching toxins into the ground until Earth falls back into the sun.

We tried for 2 months to find a CPA that would do something really important: put us at ease and instill confidence that our tax return would be in good hands. We were just about to give up and file for an extension when a coworker recommended Summer Morris. I called her immediately, and upon talking to her I instantly knew that we had found that CPA. She was extremely professional, and her wealth of knowledge and experience was obvious. We set up a time on the spot and she gave us access to a secure portal where we could upload all of our documents in advance of our meeting. I really prefer that method, and it made our meeting go quickly and efficiently. In person, she is extremely pleasant to work with. She addressed any questions we had and did some rough calculations on the spot to estimate our tax liability...which put my wife and I very much at ease. On our short drive home, she had already emailed us some additional thoughts about our taxes; a rare level of service to get during tax season. Any time that I contacted her she immediately responded, regardless of whether or not it was outside of business hours. When we got our final return back from her, everything was absolutely perfect. I looked at every detail and could not find any errors whatsoever. There were many different forms and additional work done to lower our tax liability that I would never thought of or known about. Her knowledge and experience saved us a significant amount of money. We used a CPA team back in Los Angeles for many years, whom we were happy with at the time. After having just worked with Summer Morris, I realize now that our old CPA was not so great after all. It was a real pleasure to work with her, and the whole process was so easy, affordable and worry free. We were lucky to have found Summer, and will be going back to her every year from now on, no doubt about that.
