The packing, unpacking and move in general (plus not having my regular monthly chiropractic tune ups for a few months) not surprisingly led to some significant lower back and neck pain and discomfort. After researching the options over the hill and between Pacifica and HMB, I decided on Dr. Jandial based on his reviews, website content and tenure. He's great and very gentle in his approach, super consultative and a nice listener. After a few sessions, I felt as good as new and ready to resume monthly tune up sessions!

I had never seen a chiropractor before and had some doubts based on my own ignorance about chiropractic work in general, but my friend had such great success I couldn't see a reason not to try her out. At the very first appointment... I quickly felt I was not only in capable, gentle and knowledgeable hands but dedicated, kind, sympathetic and trustworthy. There was no hard sale, no convincing me that what she does was some kind of magic. It just all made perfect sense. If your atlas is off by even 1 degree it changes the direction of your spinal cord. If your spinal cord isn't aligned it can shoot pain off in many directions all over your body. My atlas was off by 3 degrees. One leg was almost an inch shorter than the other because of it. I had headaches, neck pain, back pain, shooting pain in my arms and legs, the list goes on. Dr. Sarah runs a series of X-rays all around your neck, does a thorough examination, takes measurements asks questions and then determines the treatment plan needed to create alignment. There is no twisting and cracking. It's a percussive technology which she explains incredibly well and the difference is almost immediate. Beyond the percussion, she taught me some very important basic exercises and reminders on how to sit and hold my head, to take care of myself! How often do we do that??? Take care of ourselves? Not often enough. I saw her 2x a week for a few weeks, then 1x a week for a couple of weeks and now I see her every other week. I actually don't NEED to go every other week... I WANT to go every other week. It's not hard to get to HMB to see her. I can only say this... when you feel that good, it is very easy to take the time and make the effort to get to that appointment. Everything else can be scheduled around my time with Dr. Sarah bc I am doing something that is for ME and I feel better which makes me a better mom, wife and friend. I'm excited as I drive to my appointment, I look forward to it and every single time I leave there grateful and so happy that I went. I can't recommend her highly enough. Go, you will never regret it!

I have had chronic back pain since I was very young, and used to see a chiropractor when I was ~10 years old. Unfortunately my childhood chiropractor was very rough, popped my entire back each time and sent me on my way. From what I remember, it was very painful and uncomfortable so I decided not to return to a chiropractor due to a lingering fear. Recently my back pain has flared up so much that I finally decided to pursue chiropractic help again. I am so glad I did. Dr. Tjogas made me feel instantly at ease. His professional, informative, calm, and comforting demeanor is exactly what I needed. He takes his time to explain every little thing he's doing, and to assess your history and the current status of your body. Then he patiently works through tissue knots, preparing to make small adjustments, in only the areas that need it. I cannot recommend him enough. It is obvious at all times how much he enjoys his work, and that positivity is infectious and makes such a difference. I have definitely found a chiropractor for life!

I've not had back problems for 10-15 years and I was referred to Dr. Segelcke "Harriet" by a friend of mine who is a physician when I was struggling with slow recovery from knee replacement surgery. Harriet's chiropractic practice is unlike any other that I've experienced. She is clearly a born healer and my sense of her is such that I suspect that mere contact with her may well have a healing effect quite apart from the carefully-considered, collaborative treatment plan/recommendations that she may develop for her patients. Should you respond with skepticism to such a suggestion, please consider that her stunning clinic office in Pacifica, overlooking the Pacific Ocean may well be an additional source of healing. I'm now recovering from a fractured hip and shoulder rotator cuff soft tissue injury from a freak accident and am looking forward to my first appointment with her to discover how best I can accelerate my journey back to pain-free full mobility.
