Even before I received the benefit of Sandra's magical
healing touch while she interned as a chiropractor at
Life Chiropractic West, she has been a wonderful
colleague and a great friend to me and many others
while we were undergraduates at UC Berkeley.
Although Sandra was the manager of a health food store,
married, saddled with debt and the responsibility of
raising two children, she miraculously completed her
rigorous, undergraduate studies in anthropology with
honors while serving as a McNair scholar.
Yet even while shouldering all these responsibilities,
with little support from family, Sandra always had a
smile on her face, a kind word to say, and festivity
for all her guests in her home. She has been an
encyclopedic rendition of inspiration and merriment,
the most important ingredients in the healing process.
She always encouraged me to follow my dreams, as she
boldly and steadfastly pursued her dream to become a
healing professional. Because she had the nerve to be
a chiropractor, my nerves have been realigned.
When Sandra first treated me in June of 2005, my body
was a repository of pain, tense muscles and nerves. Not
only did I suffer with pain in my neck and lower back,
my feet swelled with agony.
Although my then job required me to spend hours on my
feet, I could barely walk because I constantly felt
sharp, excruciating pain on the ball of my extremely
pronated and flat left foot. Conventional doctors told
me that there was nothing they could do for me.
According to their diagnoses, I had an irreversible
condition. I didn't have a leg to stand on.
After Sandra examined my feet, applied heat and
expertly aligned the bones of my crooked left foot,
my flat-footed affliction, which has caused me grief
for more than 40 years, dissolved almost instantly.
She employed no drugs, no surgery, just natural and
professional skill coupled with her typical dynamic
charm and radiant joy.
I highly recommend Sandra for all those who suffer
with chronic pain from a lack of normal nerve
function. She is the back and foot specialist with a heart. read more
