I don't know where to begin. I had been going to Happy Color Nail and Spa for about a year, until…read morethis past week. I went in for a routine gel manicure before a job interview, and after my manicure something felt off. That night, my nails began to burn and itch, waking me up in the middle of the night. The following day, they became tender and I noticed a crust appearing under my nails. The following day, they began to puss and bleed. After getting the gel polish taken off, a bruised and infected nail was revealed. I went to urgent care and they put me on strong antibiotics for a staph infection caused by uncleaned tools or improperly cured gel. It has been 2 weeks since this debacle and I am still in a great deal of pain, and won't be able to get my nails done for the foreseeable future (for medical reasons and out of sheer fear of this happening again). The store refused to take responsibly when I told them about what was happening and insisted it was my body having an allergic reaction to the polish, not them. If you need your nails done, go anywhere else but here.

They'll smile and do it half heartedly but I have noticed looks exchanged between masters and rolling of eyes. This year I came in for a pedicure only, with my BFF and my sister-in-law. BFF was having a facial and was instructed to go in and place robe on. When I asked about our robes, receptionist looked at me like I had asked the most ridiculous question. I was told that robes are only for Spa services. I also asked about Quiet Room and was told , she would have to ask a manager. REALLY??? We are repeat customers who are spending at least $300. We are not coming in to steal robes or trash the Quiet Room. Look at your client and look at the whole picture before you give an answer with an attitude and an answer that makes us feel like uncomfortable...That is POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Why would a client have to go through that nonsense for a simple robe and 1/2 hr in the Quiet Room???? Our services were A++, being treated less than, F.

This place is almost too good to be true. We received a recommended for this Foot Relaxation place…read moreand when we heard the prices we thought how bad could it be. $45 for a one hour foot massage, and when they say an hour, it's a true hour. The first time we went we just went as walk ins. The owner David said need reservations but he had an opening. Let me tell you it was amazing. They start with a back massage for about 20 minutes then they move to your feet and do that reflexology massage. Oh my I couldn't believe how good it felt. Our first visit we were in a common room with several beds. Not a big problem but I prefer privacy. Next visit David puts us in a private room for two. Different therapists but same fabulous experience. Now we have a standing reservation every Sunday at 9:30 AM. They really say they open at 20 but I am now besties with David and he accommodates us at 9:30 AM. So you think I'm exaggerating, just show up there any Sunday at 9:30 and you'll see us there. Once you try them I guarantee you'll be addicted. See you Sunday

I wanted to give them an extra star because they did *attempt* to fix their mistakes but it just kept getting worse and the closer I looked the worse and worse I see it really is. All I wanted was a basic French manicure but they did not do a good job shaping my nails and even worse job with the polish -mostly because they kept using old nail polish that was dried out (you could see the stringiness of it every time she dipped it, straight a cheese pull. They redid two nails 3 times before finally getting a newer polish and they still did a poor job of painting them. Oh there is also a gross dried into the top coat fiber of some sort on one of thumbs. The closer I look the worse it all gets. So frustrated I wasted money but more importantly time and left so very disappointed. They were not rude and they did attempt to fix it but I wish they would've been honest that they were not skilled enough to do a French manicure because I would've rather have paid for a regular polish and saved the up charge and left happier with the results.

Should have been my first clue this place is not good. Pedicure was ok, but no massage or real good scrub of feet like I've experienced anywhere else. Manicure was rushed, and the massage I got to go with it was awful. Nails looked ok, but they didn't put gel over top of my nails. They chip so easily when you don't paint the gel on tip of nail. Oh well. This isn't going to be my new nail place.
