A little bit of background, I plan things ahead, even way in advance. Flashback to a little over 3 years ago, in preparation for our 10-year wedding anniversary, we planned to celebrate it in Venice and me, as the advanced planner, found Ksenia on Yelp and immediately booked her to capture this joyous occasion. Her price was reasonable and she was responsive. Responsiveness is very important to me, so I appreciated that about Ksenia right off the bat. Unfortunately the pandemic happened so we couldn't take our trip after all. After waiting almost 3 years, I contacted her again in hopes she was still around and good news... she was and honored my booking. Over this past summer, we finally took our long awaited trip and the anniversary pictures that was supposed to be for our 10-year became a reality. He was creative in taking photos of the usual items: the dress, shoes, putting on jewelry etc. My favorite photos are ones that are candid in nature. He took plenty of those and I am so glad because they captured the vibe and feel of the afternoon. The name of the game for our wedding was NO stress and I couldn't be happier that none was to be found. From taking a private water taxi to our venue **Clooney Style!**, the ceremony and walking through Venice for 3 hours to our dinner at the Westin Europa & Regina through San Marcos, the entire experience was fun, easy and entirely memorable. The 3 hours spent walking went by so fast because we were having a blast and just enjoying the moment. His eye is impeccable and can easily spot unique settings; walking through Venice he spotted many different photo ops...that said, all of Venice is gorgeous so we weren't hard pressed to find photogenic places. Ranging from fun to romantic, his shots captured the mood of the day and we are still so thrilled and enamored with the photos we received and in such a timely manner! I have heard horror stories about photographers taking 6 months or more to get photos back to clients, so I was so excited to see that he had sent them to us by the first week of July. Every time I look at the photos, a huge smile comes across my face. Andrea is the epitome of professionalism and definitely has the enthusiasm for it. We searched online for a photographer and found Andrea. After looking at his gorgeous portfolio, we decided to book him for the day. We could not have been happier from start to finish. Andrea approached the whole day with enthusiasm and humor, and we felt comfortable right away. It felt like having a friend who grew up in the area show you around. We ended up exploring little nooks we never would have found on our own. We spent all day together, and he was so patient, always asking how we were doing and if our feet were OK, even stopping for a celebratory spritz at a little cafe! Our adventure culminated in a gondola ride at sunset (which we highly recommend) Then we saw the pictures...WOW! All of our expectations were completely exceeded. He gave us every photo in color and black and white, and we received them soon after returning from our trip. Every single shot was fantastic, and he edited the day beautifully. Genny had the entire control of the situation. she understood straight away my needs since the first phone calls and I felt like I could trust her. 4 days before the wedding I met her, she showed me the venue and she suggested me decorations, space, etc.. 1 day before the wedding we changed plan completely because we were supposed to have the ceremony and reception outside but it was going to rain. I turn up the day of my wedding and EVERYTHING was perfect: decoration and layout were changed since the previous agreement but it was exactly how I wanted it. The food was above expectations. We opted for a buffet and I was worried there were going be too many carbs and fatty foods since I am very health conscious. It was instead a perfect balance between healthy and tasty foods. The wine was outstanding. The service was impeccable. Waiters knew exactly what to do and when. They were very helpful and happy to fulfil guest's extra requests. The location, villa Fontane, was perfect! a very nice villa with a big garden and good space inside. Furthermore there were few rooms so we could stay there for the night. Living so far and being very busy, I had no control on my own wedding and I my only option is to trust Genny, I am glad I did so, because my wedding was perfect for us and for all the guests.
