Our Grandson has been in Angel Learning center for almost three years and is now in pre-school. Yes it's expensive and yes they are pretty quick to dismiss kids who they feel are too vaggressive for the safety of other children BUT they do a very job creating a safe environment for kids to grow. Security is top notch also. I have no idea why parents are still enrolling their children in this daycare. The staff and management here are awful. I had two of my children in this daycare. The 2 year old class was the worst and had the most trouble. They were always out of ratio and the kids were running around like crazy people. No learning or organization. They were leaving the kids in the same diaper all day. I picked my son up and he literally had a line of dried-up poop going down his leg. One day I got a letter from the Director saying they were kicking my son out. There was no explanation as to why. I went to the daycare the next day to discuss the situation. When I finally tracked down the Director who had been dodging me the entire day. She told me that she was putting him out because he had 2 potty accidents where they had to clean the room and it was an inconvenience for the teachers. My son is 2 and was potty training. The teachers would not take him to the potty so....what were they expecting was going to happen? They were negligent. None of the teachers told me about the accidents ever. I was just hearing about it that day. I asked those teachers every single day how my children did that day and if there is anything I should know. They never said anything was wrong. Always told me everything was fine. So, imagine my surprise. The director had to retract he letter to kick him out because the teacher didn't follow the proper protocol. They were supposed to notify me of the issue in writing first, which they didn't. If the issue continued, then they had grounds for dismissal. Since this was so poorly handled, I pulled both of my kids out of there. I was concerned that they would be mistreated even further. Their Richmond Hill location was shut down by the city because they were not running background checks!! Fortunately, when that happened, my kids had already been enrolled somewhere else for a month. This group of daycares are terrible. Do not take your children there. One last thing. Your kids will get hurt there constantly and people will act like they know absolutely nothing about it. They try to blame you and say it happened at your house when it clearly didn't. You dropped them off and they were fine. You pick them up in the evening and they are all busted up. I really wanted to give this place the benefit of doubt. I had read the reviews, saw the terrible experiences other parents had endured at this location and still proceeded to enroll my daughter. I want to go and say that our initial experience was AMAZING! The 6-12 month group of teachers really go above and beyond with your child. Daily checks-in, lots of updates and are on top of your child needs. This made me think that some of the reviews were outdated. NOPE! Once my child transitioned into the toddler group all hell broke loose. My daughter would come home with frequent rashes. Being left in the same diaper all day. Sometimes come home dirty in more ways than one. It was terrible. I happened to look on the camera on my lunch break to see a employee holding down my child with force in an attempt to get her to nap. I ran to go pick her up immediately and un-enrolled her immediately!!! The director asked to investigate to try and get us to stay. Her investigation led to her reiterating what I had witnessed on camera and her solution was to tell the employees there to "be more gentle with the kids". WHAT you are telling me you have to tell someone working in that kind of industry to be GENTLE? With kids????? Ridiculous. We did not come back after that pathetic excuse. They did not care to apologize on behalf of their behavior. And the worst of it, is that they were so comfortable doing that - that this was not their first time mistreating children. If you don't feel like reading a lot then I'll say this to start, don't waste your time, money or your kids safety going to this god forsaken place. If you want to know more, please feel free to read. This started back when my daughter was about 2 years old. She was in there for about a year and within that time frame she had 4 different teachers. When she was in class the teacher would basically place all the kids in front of a TV. And if they weren't in front of a TV, they were running around chaotically. Eventually, my daughter started to exhibit bad behaviors. The teachers would complain to us about her, but after a few complaints we decided to move our daughter to another school. This particular school had structure and all the bad habits that the school was complaining about were gone. When we first started there, they told us they always cook fresh food for the kids....that was a lie. I saw Nutri-grain bars and other snacks that aren't exactly consider fresh food. They said my daughter would get to use the STEM room to advance her basic computer skills she has been learning at her previous school. That was a lie. They said she would get language training. That was a lie. The rooms were chaotic, when she did get a good teacher, they would not last very long, or they would get a nervous break down in the middle of the day. The rooms always seemed over crowded and it appears that the bathrooms in some of the rooms were never cleaned either. So fast forwards about a year and now I have a new born son. I gave ALC a chance because I heard at least the infant rooms were better. They were good to an extent. The teachers do the best they can with little to no support and most of the time, they are overwhelmed due to a lousy ratio. Of course, with the chaos that was going on my son started picking up bad behaviors as well. The last straw was when we told them my son had a diaper rash but the repeatedly wouldn't put butt paste on him. We had to contend with a baby in pain quite a few times. There was also some occasions where they couldn't tell me when my son last ate. My son was removed from this place and in the first day the new teacher at the new location said my son was not displaying any bad behaviors and it appears that he was picked on while at ALC, hence the bad behaviors. It was all retaliatory. So this wasn't just observations though, I did get a chance to speak with some of the employees and this was some inside info that I got. 1. They don't get any training or an orientation. When I spoke with them and I asked them about orientation they looked at me confused. 2. The interview process consist of two questions. "when can you start?" and "How long you been out of high school?" 3. The director pretty much just stays in her office eating and joking with her co workers while only communicating with her teachers via their app. 4. The will be literally told they start one day and will be thrown to the wolves by giving them 7 kids to contend with by themselves. No mentorship program, no veterans to help transition them so they are not overwhelmed to start their tenure. 5. I was actually training some of these teachers myself because when I would explain things to them, they seemed confused on some of the basic information. So be honest, I could be here all night typing, but my fingers are getting tired. I'm happy that my time with that place is done and I hope that whoever reads this heeds my advice and not even give this place a consideration. My family had a terrible experience with ALC. My son began attending this facility at 5 months of age in August 2020. There were several small inconveniences such as my teething baby coming home with a shirt drenched in drool without a bib on despite me sending multiple bibs with him to daycare. But I had to finally draw the line early this year when I witnessed staff on camera being excessively rough with my 10 month old, at the time. I immediately went to get my child and made staff and management aware of what I saw. I also set the tone of my expectations going forward. I was informed that the matter would be looked into and that I would receive a phone call the following day from management after reviewing the camera footage. I never received that call. The issue was never resolved. When my child returned to daycare the following Monday, I picked him up with a busted lip. No one ever called me to notify me of an accident nor injury. I immediately inquired about what happened. No one was able to give me answers. A few hours later, I received a message from his AM teacher stating that he slipped shortly after me dropping him off early that morning. While this may have been true, I should have be notified as soon as it happened-not when I pick him up and notice the busted lip on my own. And it certainly didn't not sit well with me considering the fact that just a few days prior I filed a complaint about the staff jerking him around and being too forceful. Needless to say, they had lost my trust and my son never returned. I am hoping this stops other parents from making the same mistake I did. I highly DO NOT recommend is facility. read more

If I could give this place a zero star I definitely would!!! My 6 month old son started all of two months ago and has been sick after his first week the cleanliness of this facility is very poor the staff (aka kristy) put there personal dirty socks in the baby cribs when I addressed the matter it was looked over!! I also noticed that the babies are left screaming and crying for long periods of time and left unattended. They have a camera system that I watch vividly and when I would pop up they workers scramble to try and get control over the room . I addressed the matter with the director and assistant director no changes were made . In my personal opinion the director Debbie shows that she has problem with the opposite race it's nothing that can be proven but it definitely shows I feel this facility should be shut down indefinitely or run under different management that cares for children read more

I was a employee the management team was very unprofessional the teachers there a awesome at the end of the day they get no job well done or anything they promised me a certain pay and did another and when it was payday I didn't get a check , then put me In a room with no training they are under staff and no communication. We put our 2.5 year old son at the daycare a month ago and completely regret it. We went to pick up our son today and the end of day teacher didn't know where he was. I was panicking... how do you not know where my child is? No one could answer me. They told me to go look for him myself in rooms they listed off... are you serious!?! They shrugged their shoulders like it was no big deal. Thankfully he was across the hall in a little gym room with the one year olds. I asked why he was there and no one could give me an answer. That's the moment I decided we are pulling him out of this over priced daycare. Having said that here are other issues: 1. The end of day teachers are random and have not spent time during the day with your child. So they cannot tell you how your child did, how long they napped for, did they eat their lunch, etc. No question can be answered. 2. I didn't know my child was not eating his breakfast or lunch. No one told me until I asked because it seemed he was starving when he would get home. All he wanted to do was eat. I tried asking the end of day teacher and like above, she didn't know. So I asked his normal teacher and she confirmed what I thought. But why was this not communicated to me via a note in his cubby or relayed to the EOD teacher? Poor dude is starving all day long. That 's something a parent should be aware of. 3. THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE. The first week he was there it was like pulling teeth to get someone to answer the phone or return my voice mail. No one would ever return voice mails I left. I had to physically go there for the questions I had in regards to classroom structure and registration (this issue is what gave me a "gut feeling" about this place, that I should have listened too.) If they don't answer the phones when parents call, how are they supposed to be reached if there is a family emergency and you need to contact them because of pick up issues or whatever. 4. He would bounce from room to room. Therefore teacher to teacher. I would drop him off in one room hand over his diaper bag (because he had yet to get a cubby) and when I went to pick him up they asked where his diaper bag was. It's not that big of a deal, but it shows how unorganized they are. It's frustrating. Thankfully they had spare diapers and used those. 5. He's two... he has his moments of whining and tantrums. But after being in this daycare they have amplified by a thousand. Now I know it's normal to pick up bad behavior and habits. But once the weekend rolls around he's back to normal, then come Monday pick up and he's miserable... all week long. Maybe it's a phase, maybe not, but it's a big coincidence that it coincides with his time at ALC. The only pros I can say: 1. His main teacher was good with him. Our son hates nap time. He always has. She lays with him rubbing his back to help him fall asleep and will do so if he wakes up during nap time. 2. They do have cameras in the room so you can check in on your kid. 3. Today they had a Muffins with Mom, and aunts and grandmas were able to come too. It was a nice little breakfast we got to do with him and my mom. He had a great time. They also did make a cute poem with a hand print for mothers day. ALC was always a short time solution until he got into the daycare we really want. So I could have tolerated all the little cons until then. But after his EOD teacher didn't know where he was and guessed at the possibilities. My husband and I were over it. I am posting my review here, because ALC's Facebook page deleted it, and I do believe it is my responsibility to alert any parent thinking on ALC as a good opportunity for daycare. Angel Learning Center do not operate with INTEGRITY, it is NOT A SAFE place for children, the cameras won't help your kids when they decide to turn off the fire alarm again. Bad choices are made very often, and there is always an excuse when you ask about it. I took my daughter out from ALC two months ago, she is so happy, we are so happy!! and I just took my son out as well yesterday, we were with ALC since day one, and finally we decided to take both out of that unsafe place. I could say any daycare is way better than ALC, please do not be afraid about not having a camera to watch her/him, when your child is safe, learning, and happy her/his behavior will let you know that. My son has been going to this daycare for over half a year now and he has loved it at this daycare from the minute he starting attending. He is well taken care of and loves every single one of his teachers. The classrooms are bright and colorful. He is learning something new on a daily basis and you can clearly tell that the staff are focused on the children at all times. The environment is clean and safe. The staff is amazing. I work here and my child goes here and I've had no problems as a mom or staff, I love my job and the people I work with everyday. The owner, director & all other employee's are amazing and do their best to keep the kids and parents happy. We love spending time and teaching these sweet babies. No we are not perfect but we try very hard to work with every parent & try to take care of the questions or concerns. Only reason I gave this facility one star is because I couldn't give it zero stars. My 6 year old has been with a day care provider since he was born due to me working. So I've had my fair share of experiences. Never in his life have I been concerned for his safety at a facility until now. Numerous times I would go to pick him up and there would be children slamming doors, chasing each other around the room, jumping over furniture, CLIMBING DOOR FRAMES, throwing toys at each other, and slamming each other to the ground. My son came home with bruises and cut lips and speaking of kids bullying him. Each time I would pick him up he was either sitting in front of a tv watching movie (not exactly an educational activity) or being tossed around by another child. The teacher in the room would be overwhelmed at having 20+ kindergartners - first graders to herself. I made a complaint and they adjusted. I specifically heard on a day where school was out and they had school children there that they were bringing in staff's friends to fill voids of over populating the school and staying with in ratio. This means that these people watching the children were friends that weren't skilled, trained, or certified. The day I pulled my child from this facility I witnesses older children outside, intentionally shoving each other off of a garden border falling on their backs. I sat there for 5+ minutes watching this happen which means that the teacher was not paying attention or simply didn't care that these children were harming each other. I went in to the school and the director was sitting at the desk. I informed her of the incident and as usually she got a bewildered look on her face and said it would be handled. I paid my two week penalty to be done with this place. I then recognized that I had just paid 2 weeks worth of tuition to keep my child safe. I called and requested a refund. I was denied. At this point it has nothing to do with the money. It's about children safety. I requested to have a meeting with the owner and was denied. That tells me that the safety of the children and concerns of a parent are irrelevant to the dollar that is to be made. I am now requesting every single minute of footage of my child in that school and will be expecting explanations as to why there were never incident reports or even an explanation of a situation where my child was hurt. I would be extremely cautious of using this facility. The children run wild and it is completely unsafe. Also, I think that it's pretty disturbing to have staff and family of staff reviewing a business. Doesn't exactly paint a true picture. I am a business owner and this is something I would NEVER do. This place is a disgrace. We've had our daughter there for 12 months now and are looking to leave ASAP. It's really hit or miss on the 'teachers' in each of the classrooms. I quote teachers because this is more like a mediocre daycare than a learning center. Of the two rooms we've been in, the first teacher was awesome, which is why started there and the fact that they offered part time. She kep her room clean, played and read books to the infants, kept the daily journal up to date and was extremely friendly, but unfortunately she moved on. The second room has been a disaster. Just in the last six months there has been non-stop sickness; colds, runny nose, biting, hand foot mouth, ring worm, MRSA, and on and on. We can't even send her there full time because we are at the doctor every other week. The room looks like it has never been cleaned, which may be why the kids keep getting sick. And even though I've mentioned the how filthy the room is to the staff every week, nothing has changed. Oh, and after being there for one month they forced us to pay full time and then about two months after that they offered part time again, but said that was only for new signups. Scam! Horrible place to leave your kids. From leaving children unattended to teachers who don't like to change diapers and the diapers get so full the kids are sitting in puddles. And cleanliness? I can not speak for what angel learning center was like in the past, but I can say that my 8 month old has always enjoyed going. She gets to go in a stroller walk outside and interact with other children and is having a blast. The teachers have shown nothing but love to her and I love the ability to watch the cameras from my phone and to see when she last had a diaper change and ate. read more

I absolutely love Angel Learning Center. My 3 year old daughter attends and my son previously attended when he was younger. The location is convenient and I feel secure knowing that I can log in to look at my child at anytime throughout the day. My kids enjoy going and my son visits during his spring break when camp is offered. The staff is great and if I ever have any issues, Sarah works very quickly to address them and ensure that I'm pleased. I highly recommend this facility. read more

This place is highly disorganized and the management is worst of all. We planned to join my kid and we enrolled but meanwhile we had confirmation from another school. We joined him in another school just because of cost. They billed us 3 times and never gave our money back and they keep on saying they will give but now they turned down us that they won't give money. Please I request whoever reading this message please don't join your kid in this place it's worst they talk little good upfront but they r waste both Bhumi n Sara!! I'm sure they will not be happy by stealing other peoples hard earned money!!! We did contact the owner by email but no response at all and when we call office they don't answer and when they answer they just keep saying Sara is in a meeting. This place has the potential to be such a wonderful center and place to work, but it is everything but that. Class sizes are too large to handle with such a high employee turn over rate. They are always understaffed. They constantly move kids from classroom to classroom to stay in state ratios. It is extremely disorganized. They advertise that they exceed state ratios, well they do with too many kids and not enough teachers. They also advertise that it's such a nice center, even "a parents dream come true" but in reality it is a parents worse nightmare. They are money hungry and don't care about the kids, or the staff there, unless they are related to them. read more

This is by far the worse place that I have worked at. The owner is very misogynistic towards women and talk to them any kind of way. We get a paper check and they tell workers what time they can get their own money that they work for. A few checks has bounced for some workers. We have an app for work and everyday there is something written that is negative about the workers. Everyday I would wake up, there would be something negative on the app. They would leave teachers and teachers assistants by theirselves in the class room with 15-20 kids. They expect their workers to not get any vacation time nor call out sick unless you have a doctors note, which if you don't have any medical insurance you are screwed. They like to harass their good workers/employees while they let the ones that slack off do what they want. Parents complain about their children having so many different teachers in such a short period of time, this is why-they can not keep their workers. They have a huge turnover rate and it's due to their very poor management. read more

The owner has no idea what he is doing. He treats his employees like garbage, and most of them have quit, or he has fired them with no reason. There are not enough employees there to even keep track of all of the children, let alone teach them anything. He has no room numbers by the doors. It took me ten minutes just to find my daughter's room, and the receptionist had no idea where anything was either. There isn't even a sign on the outside of the building telling what the place is. This guy needs to find something else to do, because I do not trust him with my child. read more
