Kara at Hawaii Aloha Travel did a fantastic job for us. Everything about our 16 day 4 island trip went like clock work. The flights all worked out well, the rental car process was painless, and all of hotel/resort accommodations met or exceeded our expectations. One concern that I had going into the trip was whether there would be a lot of unplanned out of pocket expenses and I very pleased to say that all of the Resort and parking fees changed at each resort was exactly what Kara said to expect. We will be going back to Hawaii to spend more time at our favorite two islands of Kauai and the Big Island and with out question we will be reaching out to Kara at Hawaii Aloha Travel when we do. The train trips themselves are unbelievable with very knowledgeable and gracious crew, great natural sights along the way, and fantastic food in the main car, and snacks, and drinks in the club car. Wine pairing was also offered for the lunch meals. Earl got us an all day tour of Canyonlands and Arches National Parks through NAVTEC Expeditions in Moab and this company was excellent with pickup and drop-off at the hotel, lunch provided, and a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide who was really an excellent driver when there was barely a road to go over in some places. she was also able to circumvent the long entry line at Arches by getting into the park by a back route so that we could also see dinosaurs tracks, but not miss any of the salient sights at either park. Our train excursion was a once in a lifetime experience (a bucket list item for anyone) that went so smoothly thanks to Earl.

April took care of everything from helping take care of flights, rental cars, and fun activities. She not only got us a great deal with one of the hotels that included a helicopter tour and a bus tour taking us to the Waimea Canon and Fern Grotto, but she was also able to upgrade our room to ocean view and get us complimentary breakfast each morning! When we first arrived at our hotel we were greeted with champagne, cake and a letter from April! She also curated a beautiful itinerary for us that we could reference throughout the trip so there was very little thinking required once we got there!! She was extremely helpful in getting us and our families the rooms we wanted. She also took care of all the extra stuff we needed for our wedding weekend, including pool cabanas reservations, arranging for the hotel to store our wedding cakes, and organizing Sunday brunch! It was so easy and stress-free. Our families really enjoyed the stay and it added to the weekend's relaxing experience. She made it super easy for us and I would recommend her services to anyone. Our group of 8 people rented a beach front house $450/ night for a friend's wedding through vrbo which is managed by hawaiibeachhomes company. When I called to file a complaint their excuses were 1. The cleaners must have been rushing because we had guests prior to your stay. 2. If you're unhappy you can leave and we'll refund you your money 100%. 3. We never had any complaints but your party. 4. You have one of the cheaper stay so the filth is excepted. 5. Inaccurate listing of the beach front home. One of the bedroom is supposed to have beach front view with double doors. Heck the bushes has overgrown and the view was obstructed. Their response was do you want me to tell the owner to cut the bushes down? My reply Either cut it back or update your listing! At this point I was very upset and unhappy with this company. Cheaper stay or not we deserve a clean house! The house was filthy! List of filthiness 1. Dust under beds, inside closets, back and side of night stands. 2. White walls are brown and black marks 3. Stain beddings. 4. Mildew and large yellow stains on mattress that was covered up by bed protectors. 5. Mildew shower liners and curtains. 6. Broken glass bottles on patio. 7. Greasy kitchen cabinets. This was my experience with this company at the beach house. The house was beautiful but the upkeep and maintenance was very poor! They did refund us $300 for cleaning fee.

IDH owner Matt Zimmerman has organized international dive trips for several decades. I started signing up for some international dive trips 4 years back and I'm hooked! I recently came back this month from a week in Fiji with IDT. The inclusive fee paid for the cabins at the dive resort, all meals (alcohol not included), and the diving. IDT does not include airfare, so divers can use their favorite air carrier or miles if applicable. The flight between Honolulu and Nandi, the capital of Fiji, was relatively short (7 hours) and reasonable on Fiji Air. The kicker was the 3 1/2 bus ride from the airport to the dive resort. The resort drivers did include one bathroom break at a convenience store, and also enabled us to get local refreshments/snacks. The dive resort, Volivoli Beach Resort, was luxurious, isolated, and outstanding food! They had several special events laid on for us like: a trip to a local village and waterfall, and local residents coming to the resort to showcase local dancing and songs. While diving we didn't see any other dive boats during our diving. And the dive sites they took us to were fantastic! Great visibility, reefs that are full of color and life, warm water (84F in March, Fiji's summer), and interesting critters! My favorites, the nudibranch sea slugs, were there- a lot of them new and not found in Hawaii! But my favorite photo series was while we were doing a shallow water stop degassing for 3 minutes near the top of a sea mount. We didn't see too many sea turtles during the dives, and lo and behold there come along a Hawksbill sea turtle (more rare than an run of the mill green sea turtle)! It was going along its merry way feeding, and not paying any attention to the gaggle of divers getting in the way of each other trying to take pictures of the Hawksbill! One of my diver buddies took a picture of me taking a picture of her & the Hawksbill, how meta! All in all, Fiji is probably my favorite international dive trip with IDT so far, but I've enjoyed all of my previous (Cozumel, Honduras, Bonaire, and Palau) trips! I've already signed up for their Philippine trip next year in 2024, come join! Will repeat and highly recommend!

The route takes you through some breathtaking landscapes, with panoramic views of the Ko'olau Mountains and the ocean. It's easy to see why so many movies and TV shows have been filmed here - every stop feels like a postcard. Along the way, our guides, Iven and Van, were knowledgeable, friendly, and always happy to answer questions while sharing stories about the ranch's history and famous filming locations. A couple tips: it gets very hot during the summer, and the trails can be quite dusty, so wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. It's all part of the adventure! Overall, this was an unforgettable experience and one I'd highly recommend to anyone visiting Oahu. Just be sure to book your tour early, as popular time slots tend to sell out in advance.
