I am writing to share my personal experience regarding a procedure I received at this spa in May of 2025. My intention is not to cause harm, but to inform others so they can make fully educated decisions before seeking treatment. I underwent a PDO thread procedure for which i was charged approximately $4,000. Following the treatment, I experience significant complications. My face became uneven, and I was left with an asymmetrical smile, even to this day. When i developed an infection after the procedure, Dr Sherry was unable to provide the assistance I needed. Because of this, I had to seek care from my local physician, who ultimately helped me treat the infection properly. But still have my uneven face. Based on my xperience, I personally do not recommend this spa for any cosmetic procedures or other procedures. In my view, the focus seemed to be more on payment $$$$ than on patient safety, follow-up, or genuine care. I strongly encourage others to do thorough research, seek multiple consultations, and reliable aftercare support. I hope my experience helps others avoid the difficulties I went through. read more

i've given a positive review about the Spa before but I have to do it again. I just got home to Ingleside from yet another procedure that was very comfortable. Thanks to Melissa Huff. The reason I drive to San Antonio from Ingleside is because of Dr. Sherry's commitment to ethics and perfection I've never left there without feeling that I got a little bit more than I paid for . i'll keep going back today. Clients BEWARE of any bloodwork tests being administered. There's a good chance you will have to pay out of pocket expenses if your deductible has not been met. Such was my case, when I specifically told the girl, who is no longer working there, that if was going to have to pay for anything, I would not go ahead with the bloodwork tests. She said, "No, that my insurance would cover it." I then asked her what if I were to receive a bill. She said, "Oh just bring it in and we will take care of it. It's usually a billing code error on the labs part that can be corrected. That was the only reason I agreed to go ahead with the bloodwork. I believed her. I should have had her put it in writing. Now I have to pay over $1,000 since my deductible is 4,000. The original bill was over $4K. I will never go back there again. Shady practices. read more

I went there and explained exactly what I needed. What I always get done when at home in Austin. She injected fillers right beside the sides of my nose instead . Then got nervous, went to get another , more experienced lady. She came in and started putting things to dissolve whatever it was, as she had apparently blocked blood flow to my nose somehow. I do not know the exact terminology, because they didn't want to tell me at first. They had me come back, and the more professional lady was there with the girl, so I felt less nervous. My nose,and and face in general felt like I'd been hit w a basketball. She injected More things into my face. And while this was happening, I was showing them how Incredibly obvious it was that my smile lines were completely uneven, they didn't seem to agree. While my friends all noticed immediately. The Third time they had me come in, it was just the first girl... she started injecting things into my Jaw. And I got nervous and she went ahead and stuck the dissolvent shot directly into my nostril, which just left me in tears and walking out as quickly as possible. They kept calling and calling and I told them I was fine, and that I was going to see my DR in Austin 4 days later. They said my Dr wouldn't know how to fix it... because they didn't want an actual dr seeing what they had done I assume. But then my right nostril started collapsing amd I couldn't breath, and I felt I had no option, or go to the ER as my friends suggested. They loaded me up w the drops that make your eyes look bigger, because the girl messed up the Botox so badly that my eyes look closed all the time. And will for another 2 months. My DR in Ausitn said i was extremely lucky that what they had done was somewhat fixable, and even possibly not permanent. My nose is still messed up. I still have bruising on my cheekbones. At least they refunded the ridiculous annoying of money I spent, while also piling on free expenses products. Because it cost that much to make it somewhat ok in Austin. So no, do not go here. And just never get anything like this done somewhere that you don't know them just because you have several important events to attend. Wrinkles and frown lines would have been better. With social distancing you think they would take the proper precautions yet they had me in a waiting area with some guy who kept coughing. I moved to another area and told them why then they came and asked me to move back in that areas with they guy who is coughing. That's guy should not even be there! Not only was he allowed to stay but I was force to be in the same area as him which puts me and others in danger of contacting the coronavirus. It's definitely not safe! I went back for my last b-12 shot and the made me wait for 30 minutes then handed me a bag with a syringe so I can give myself the shot I paid them to administer to me. Also they same man who wanted me to wait in the room with the guy who was coughing confronted me about my review and basically called me a liar and said the guy was not coughing which he most certainly was. Hard to rate them. I have mixed feelings. I found them through a Facebook ad. I thought I give them a call and send pictures even before i actually came in. They said to come in and they have the right plan for me. 2 treatments of fiber band subcision along with sculptra and mesotherapy. I came in and sat with Maddie. Very knowledgeable but tries to pull every penny from you. I said I'll take it one treatment at a time with the 2 subcisions first. Then I'll pay for the next treatment. She seemed disappointed but understood. I came in for the first treatment of subcision after close to 2hrs waiting on the doctor to come in we finally got started and omg how painful it was. (Maddie said it was tolerable). Waited one month till bruising is gone and for second treatment of subcision. I called the day before letting maddie know how I feel and I really didn't want to go through a second painful treatment especially since there was absolutely no results. She said to come in and let us see and take pics and speak to the doctor. And she said it's gonna take the second treatment of the subcision to start seeing a difference and and along with sculptra. I told her I'm not gonna spend $6,000 on sculptra if I didn't see anything from the subcision. She said if i don't come in to see the dr I'll forfeit everything. I said ok I'll come In and see what the dr comes up with. I came and in the room with Claire and I swear it's like they all have to go by a script she said exact same thing word for word as maddie. And try to pull more money from you. Mind you, I came and never seen the dr. Only talking to Claire. I came to see what the dr would say not her workers. Dr was not even in the building. This place is amazing! The staff is so kind and welcoming, and the business itself is beautifully decorated. I received a HydraFacial. While I didn't know what to expect, Angela (so sweet!) guided me the whole way through! It's comforting when your doing something new but can have immediate trust in the staff because it is apparent that they know what they are talking about. I still haven't decided what I love the most, the staff, the facility, or the service itself. All of these were seriously top tier! I want to add, I think what is really special about this place is that the staff is kind enough to share their wealth of knowledge to help their clients achieve the best, personally ideal results possible. UPDATE: I left this exact review on facebook and they claim not to have me in the system? They then BLOCKED me. Also, a manager STILL has not called me. I was there on SATURDAY as shown in photos. G. Howard. I came here for mesotherapy in my arms and they offered me a package of 4 sessions and 1 coolsculpting session for $800. They tried to con me into buying another cool sculpting session so I could get both arms done but I said no because thats not what I even came here for and they said they'd give me 2 anyway. The consistency of care was completely different each time I came and they have a lot of inexperienced staff. For example, sometimes they weigh you, take pics, measurements, offer you water and a relaxing supplement but most of the time they don't or only do a couple of these obviously standard procedures. At first, my arms did get smaller by 2 to 2.5 inches but for some reason, they went right back to their original size but with very loose skin. It also caused me extreme bloating and general stomach discomfort for a month and a half which I was able to end by fasting from 5 pm to late morning. I dont think the side effects are their fault but its a horribly painful procedure that I don't recommend and I regret getting, as it's made my insecurity about having fat arms even worse. One good thing is that my appts were always prompt. The coolsculpting appt was not and they didnt begin until 45 minutes after my appt time. I voiced my complaints about the meso results or lack thereof. The girl tried to take my measurements close to my arm pit instead of the actual widest part like they normally do which I called her out for and made her do correctly. She also said its because the medicine is still working but thats not true, since its been more than 6 weeks. The more experienced tech said that she would look at my before and after pics and take the measurements since she had been the first and last person to inject me and talk to me about options. They put the machine on one of my arms and left. The machine ran its course and turned off, except it was still sucking my arm. I thought they'd come in but they just never did. After 12 min, I started getting worried because it hurt and they should obviously be there by now. I ended up calling the front desk with my cell phone and had to ask them to come in and get it off of me. I waited another few minutes and then I just had to remove the stupid thing myself. After another few min, they sent some other chick in who wasn't the girl who was supposed to be helping me. By this point I was in pain and absolutely FURIOUS. I more or less stormed out of there and didn't want them touching my other arm. These people are so unprofessional and disorganized. Lastly, they heavily market the doctor who owns this place as some god like woman but I never met nor even saw her in the 6 times that I have been there which I find strange and suspicious considering they only hire fresh medical assistants instead of experienced aesthetic nurses. Shouldn't the doctor be there overseeing the work and training them?? Some of the newbie techs who assisted me were being guided by the experienced one, again highly suspicious and I hope they're paying her appropriately having to run the whole show despite not being accredited enough to do so. I'm not ever coming back here under any circumstances. If I want any more cool sculpting, I'll go somewhere else but I think lipo is the better route if you want dramatic results done by a professional. read more

I was promised a facial and told I still had one half a syringe for my second visit. on my second visit I got no facial and of course my half a syringe which was expensive was forgotten about. First of all I did not use a Groupon. A business discounts a service at least 50% to get your business then Groupon takes 50% of that so it's crazy to expect a business to provide quality service for less than 25% of what they normally charge. Don't complain that you got what you paid for. I got liposuction a year ago which left me with a couple small fat deposits. I had a consultation with Ana who explained that mesotherapy would be able to target these small areas and break down the fat. She understood I was not trying to shrink my entire abdomen but specifically targeting certain areas. My appointments with her and Margo were very professional. They are both very patient, knowledgeable and practice proper sanitation at all times. They did a great job at listening to my concerns and answering my questions to the best of their ability. The injections themselves aren't fun but definitely tolerable. After 6 sessions I found the way to get the best results is to wear no compression of any kind for the first 48 hours to allow the area to swell up as much as possible. The more swelling, the better the result so prepare to look a little scary for a few days. After the first two days I massage the area four times a day with ice packs and wear compression all day and night to help bring the swelling and nodules down. I'm happy with my result. I feel the areas I wanted reduced came down nicely leaving my stomach smoother than when I started. The staff was great. The girls at the front desk always greeted me by name and patiently worked with my schedule when making my appointments. The location is easy to find with plenty of parking. The only reason I'm updating my review is because they did the right thing (after all the hassle of having to show them receipts and bank account statements and call multiple times) & because Dominique has great customer service! I called yet again and still couldn't speak with a manager, but Dominique handled things how an employee should, with excellent customer service! & Like I said it took only 3 minutes to review my account. My money was put back into my bank account and she confirmed I will not be charged anymore. I mean it was that simple. I'm still very disappointed how things were handled with the first front desk employees, but Dominique deserves a raise. She was very calm, nice, and explained everything to me, which I appreciate especially when it comes to my money! As far as the services, I can only speak on my experience because everyone's different and, thus, will respond differently to treatments. Checked the treatment areas before purchasing which includes armpits. Called multiple times and texted, left messages and finally got someone over the phone to book the appointment. The rep over the phone told me earliest available would be about a month out and I confirmed I had bought a Groupon for a small area and would be doing armpits. She said okay and confirmed day/Time. I got follow up calls and texts to confirm appointment. Arrived to the appointment and was then told I had to pay more money for this service because they consider underarms as a medium area. They wanted me to pay the difference which was $90 (I had already spend $89 through groupon). I said I wasn't going to pay more as I checked and confirmed this was included when I bought and booked the app. She said there website says underarms is for medium area. I looked up the website and nothing. They do not list there treatment areas. She got her manager who again told me the same thing. I even showed him the Groupon showing underarms listed under small area. He said he spoke to Groupon asking them to remove it and asked when I purchased. I said about a month ago and here now because that's how long it took to even get this app. He wouldn't honor there contract and told me to go get a refund through Groupon or pay the difference. Ha! A New You If you are buying a Groupon or a Living Social deal do not expect the same treatment as if you were to buy their products full price and spend at least hundreds even thousands of dollars on Botox injections and fillers. Groupon customers do not get offered freshly made complimentary protein shakes, and access to the complimentary massage chairs are not mentioned or offered either. I DO NOT recommend getting your teeth whitened with this company. Their technicians aren't properly trained and the products they use can easily be purchased at the dollar tree. They use a 5 minute treatment in a package on your teeth for 25 minutes over the limit that can be completed at home. This "new" process creates a smaller range to whiten teeth and less safety precautions. I DO NOT recommend A New You!!! The last technician I spoke with for my final appointment was Mora, and she stated the process changed for better results. The new process is 30 minutes with the blue light and WITHOUT any baby blue plastic mouthpiece or cotton rolls to protect your lips and gums. I went 3 times within 2 months, and the only difference in the process was the lack of the baby blue plastic mouthpiece and cotton rolls. The second time I went for my whitening I was advised of the same bogus story and I asked for the blue mouthpiece for protection and then she was miraculously able to find one. I would not recommend this business, they just have very poor customer service skills and odd policies. I purchased 5 vitamin b12 shots for myself and my wife on groupon. We have both been to b12 clinics in Austin and New York and never had a problem with any of them. I was running late from driving from downtown for my first appointment and called to say I was running late. The receptionist advised that she was doing me a favor but typically I would be charged a fee but she would "waive it for me". There is no reason to shame a new client, even one that is not spending huge money on high dollar procedures. I arrived at the clinic and I was asked to fill out probably 10 pages of health documents. Also there was a page to put a credit card on file and my BANK ACCOUNT on file with them. I refused to fill out many of these non essential documents and advised staff I was not putting my credit card on file for a groupon. So, we received 2 shots each, and each time had trouble getting the next appointment scheduled. For a procedure that takes no more than 30 seconds, they never had any convenient "appointments" available. It became more annoying than anything. I would arrive at the appointment and end up waiting quite a while every time, like a doctors office visit but worse. Also, these shots should be about 1x per week. I ended up taking an appointment on a Saturday then a Tuesday night because nothing else was available. My wife and I talked about it in the car, and decided that we would just ride it out and finish up our five shots, and not do it again. When we arrived for the 3rd shot, we were told that we missed an appointment and we would be required to put a credit card on file to pay a fee. I declined that, and then was told I could put $50 deposit with them in lieu of the credit card. We decided to cancel all remaining appointments and were really upset about the poor customer service. If we were actually treated DECENTLY, we probably would have purchased more services from this business, but every time I came in I felt like I was being scolded by the receptionist. read more

Today I went and had a procedure there called Thermitight, a minimally invasive way to tighten the skin on your neck and get rid of the fullness in the chin and jawline. I want to start by saying I was late to my appointment after locking my keys in my car, they saw me 30 minutes later than scheduled without any hesitation. They brought me in, they took me to a wonderfully comfortable procedure room, and her staff began preparing me for the procedure. I want to say that the procedure chair was very comfortable which I really appreciated! I was so pleased to find Dr. Sherry was easy to talk to. She is knowledgeable and experienced not only in her specialty but clearly also in medicine. She listened to my concerns and talked to me about each one. She even took the extra time to address extra things on the spot for no extra charge. Not once did I feel like she was in a rush. In the middle of a transitional part of the procedure, we took a small break and I was given a delicious smoothy from the juice bar which was surprisingly just what I needed and didn't even know it! I happen to be in the healthcare industry, and I really appreciate when I see a clinician who is passionate about his or her specialty like Dr. Sherry is. I'm very excited to find a medical spa and a team of folks that can help me address my aesthetic needs and my wellness needs! I was there in January and I was treated horribly, I wrote my discontent on here and when Dr Sherry saw my review, right away she wanted to correct the problem. I really didn't want to go back but I did suggest to have a more watchful eye. After a couple of months, she assure that her staff was corrected or replaced and she still insisted on me giving her another chance. FYI, I know nothing about the spa side, I just go to the gym. I followed Alicia and Val to AnewYou and they've only gotten better! The gym is small but you could give Alicia a rubber band and a piece of paper and she'd find a way to make you burn 500 calories in 45 minutes. For real though, I've lost 60 lbs since September 2017 thanks to those two ladies and they push so hard because they truly love their clients. If I could I would give this business no stars. This is not a reputable business. They are unprofessional, dishonest and unethical. I attended a luncheon (50.00)they sponsored a few months ago featuring a product called Sculptra. Great presentation. The more you purchased the better the offer, double the product(4,350.00). I was sold, I let my vanity get the better of me, signed on the dotted line. They were quick to whip out the little iPad where the font was tiny and they rush you through the signing of about 7 pages. I wasn't worried, I had liked what they said, what I saw. ONLY that they left one very important detail out of the presentation & that was that they were going to inject my face with SYNTHETIC POLYMERS. I read that on a pamphlet they give afterwards. I got home and didn't read it till a couple of days later. I quickly called the person that signed me up but went to voicemail, left message about what I had read and that I changed my mind, did not want procedure after all & that I wanted paper copies of what I had signed. Please call back. NOTHING. 24 hrs. pass so I call Dr. Sherry and let her know. She says she checked my account & nothing has been charged but she is presently in a hurry but will talk to me later. Long story short, was lied to by omission. I NEVER would have given the procedure a second thought if they had mentioned the injection of SYNTHETIC POLYMERS to my face at the presentation. I was told by Dr. Sherry that I was not allowed to change my mind. I disputed the charge but lost because I had signed for the services. I have excellent credit so I have no choice but to pay it. I always find it interesting when people give a one star review because they had to wait...in a doctors office. Seriously???? Personally...I don't want a Doctor walking out out me if my procudure requires additional time! Nope..no, I don't want them walking out because my turn is up. After reading some of the reviews, I felt compelled to "share" my experience. I initially went to Dr. Sherry because I saw the Silhouette Instalift she did on a friend. It was AMAZING. I understated that...A M A Z I N G!! What is this instant "fountain of youth"? It is the updated Lifestyle Lift...updated strings...it is the newest, undetectable, instantly gratifying face lift. There are small cones on very durable lift strings that lock the nylon lines in place...which are then pulled through the skin in three different areas on each side of the face with an 18 gauge needle. If you are tired of fillers...and feel like your taking on the appearance of a bloated fish...as I was..and want a long term solution...this is it. These effects last for a few years instead of a few months and it runs about $3,800.00. They also offer strings if you need a little something, but aren't ready for the big's quite yet. They offer other services...hormone replacement, coolsculpting, weight maintainence, healthy diet, exercise..ect. The office staff and techs are professional and very nice but with what this was supposed to cost I was hoping to speak to the MD. I decided to buy the European Classic facial because I've been feeling stressed and my face started to break. Aside from having my face exfoliated, I wanted to get a nice shoulder massage to release the stress and this was listed in the groupon as part of the facial. Let's mention that I have had facials done at other places before so I kind of knew what to expect. Almost at the end when she was putting the custom mask, I know that they have to leave it on for about 10 minutes and that's when they give you the massage, well this never happened! Instead, she was just sitting behind me doing nothing and I was laying there. Also, somebody started knocking at the door in the middle of my session and opened the door and asked the girl who was doing my facial if she could ask her a question. I thought this was very unprofessional because you are supposed to be relaxing and not get interrupted. When I was heading out, the receptionist was nice enough to ask me how was my facial and I let her know that it was not what I had expected, she asked me if I wanted to speak to the manager to see if he could do something about it and I said yes. She went to get the manager and came back to tell me he was on the phone and asked me if I minded waiting, I said it was fine and I waited in the lobby. After over 25 minutes of waiting, the manager never came out to speak to me so I decided to leave. I wouldn't recommend this place, very poor service and don't deliver what was promised. read more

Please understand that Dr. Sherry tries to imply in her reply to my review that the damage I have was a result of a "complication." There were absolutely no complications that day or in the days following the laser treatment and the trauma/wounds Dr. Sherry left me with. My skin was healthy and simply responded to the laser it was given. Two people treated my face that day, Dr. Sherry and her assistant Anna. Dr. Sherry's assistant, used the same laser on the left side of my face pulsing once and my skin responded just fine and healed perfectly. Dr. Sherry came in half way through the procedure and took over from her assistant. Dr. Sherry used the same laser and pulsed at least five times in every spot causing the trauma, damage and scarring to my face. Every spot Dr. Sherry treated is permanently scarred. My skin responded exactly how it should have with NO COMPLICATIONS. Dr. Sherry is now trying to reply in a way that shifts the responsibility away from herself and A New You and places it on her patient/client. SHORTCHANGE YOU and UNPROFESSIONAL. They will start with claiming that I was not a client, BUT I was (Sept 2021 - Oct. 2021). I spent well over $4500 plus. First of all, Matt acts like he is in charge TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL and Condescending. He is a NOBODY. He is under minding Dr. Sherry's profession. He needs to get a grip on his management and time management skills. Matt needs to manage the website content which is deceitful. DO NOT give them your Medical Insurance information that's the FIRST THING they ask you for when you know your procedures are NOT covered (elective cosmetic work not covered by most medical insurances). I REALLY wanted to CANCEL my procedures after dealing with MATT but there is NO REFUND. YOU ARE LOCKED IN OR LOOSE YOUR MONEY. First visit, I WAITED and WAITED. I can understand waiting within reason and for the numbing agent to take effect (root cause they were short staffed). I get it. First visit was for the Vampire PRP Facelift which was not performed by Anew You primary personnel listed on website who perform the Vampire PRP Facelift procedure (Medical Licensed professionals because you are breaking tissue). Anew You uses a licensed Esthetician to perform the Vampire PRP Facelift because they have a licensed physician on staff. So my Vampire PRP Facelift was not top notch quality which should have been performed by Anew You professional primary personnel who are certified and licensed to perform the procedure. Do your research. I had to come back for a second visit to finish my procedures that I had purchased, which was fine. After my encounter with MATT, I had a lot of distrust that my syringes of Volluma and Vobella would be correct and unexpired as well as the amount of Botox I would receive. I asked to inspect my products prior to my procedure and was met with a defensive MATT who is not a licensed physician or medical assistant (RN). My questions were medical related, and MATT BULLIED his way into the procedure room after I had requested to staff that I DID NOT want to deal with an unprofessional MATT. PLUS my questions were MEDICAL related not staff management/billing related which made MATT UNQUALIFIED to answer since MATT does NOT have a medical license. My daughter is a Registered Nurse and very professional who went with me for support and to ensure integrity after my BAD initial experience with MATT. At my procedure appointment I requested to see all the products I had purchased prior to my procedure for integrity and expiration dates. MATT BULLIED his way into the procedure room. MATT (not a licensed medical professional) challenged my daughter who is a Registered Nurse and is very knowledgeable with a question of "Do you know how to mix Botox?". I was FURIOUS but kept my composure as I was about to have my FACE injected. Dr. Sherry proceeded to complete the injections I had purchased. BUT bottom line is I believe they SHORTCHANGE you on HOW MUCH you are injected with and reuse what they don't use. To maintain INTEGRITY, you as a patient should be able to inspect the integrity of the products you purchase and the FULL use of what you have purchased. Additionally, staff is leaving because MATT does not know how to manage resources and schedules, turnover of staff is HUGE. They DO NOT TOLERATE MATT'S UNPROFESSIONAL MANNERS. I had some facial treatments recently and have seen immediate results. My skin is naturally quite oily and tends to have breakouts on a regular basis. Microdermabrasion treatments work well for my skin and they have helped me to maintain a more healthy facial regimen. The place asks for certain medical information that you would normally provide to a hospital or urgent care facility, even if you only want a small service such as a facial. I am not too thrilled about this because I do not intend to have Botox or another major therapy done to my body, so I do not see a need for that type of information to be given to Anew You. Also, one my facial treatments was a little much to handle for comfort (although the results look good). My skin is HIGHLY sensitive so I'll probably look for another facility that is much more gentle on the face. read more

The first couple times I came in for laser hair removal on my under Arms it was quick! I was in and out in less than ten minutes. Since then I've waited for 1-2 hours for appts. This place is nice but it's really frustrating having to wait over an hour for a 5 minutes appt. I've seen people walk out and I have also. I have a very busy schedule and this is very inconvenient and unprofessional. Each time they say a different excuse like understaffed or an employee didn't show up. I definitely won't come back after my 6 treatments are done. They canceled my appt last week because the equipment broke and rescheduled me for today. I waited an hour today for my appt and walked out because again they were understaffed. I watched two other people come in 20-30 after me and get seen before me. I prepaid for my services and at this point my just ask for my money back. Horrible customer service. read more
