Pretty remarkable. I had a tire fail on I-74 Tuesday night and left my car on the road shoulder ( because my spare tire was no longer good). Unbeknownst to me, my car was towed in the early AM hours by the State Police. This cost me $235.00 right out of the gate. Andy's towing discovered that my car had been impounded the next morning while trying to locate it. After finding this out- I asked the guys at Andy's to help me out and at least get my car out of impound for the money I had paid them. ( the impound company - another local towing and auto repair business- wouldn't touch my car or help me, but was willing to charge me an addition $65 to tow the car to a tire store and an additional $45 if the car was there overnight. This, in addition to the initial $235.00 charge). Andy's picked my car up, and WITHOUT MY ASKING- bought a very nice used tire to replace the blown tire, installed it, and delivered the car TO MY HOME. All for $125.00. The towing business can be a dirty business full of jaded and shady characters. Andy's really is that rare and honorable small operator. It's also a local business- as I came to find out- that has been owned and operated by the same man, in the same location, for 42 years. Here's to you, Andy! and thank you! read more

False advertising as if the business is open Monday-Sunday , the number that's listed no one picks up . Andy does that purposely so he can collect that $65 storage fee a day on top of equipment fees that's unnecessary. Open at 8am assistant doesn't come in until 10 AM. I had to call Champagne police department because they wanted to charge me for three days when I've been trying to get a hold of them to get my vehicle . I wouldn't even give them one star. well, the service they give least one driver tries to take a vantage of women. His name is Larry. He's a tow truck driver for them took a vantage of my girlfriend, she got out of her truck for after he told her car, he grabs a hold of her and considers to start kissing on her and Wyler, or in the vehicle going to drop the vehicle off. TERRIBLE. Terrible, terrible, terrible. Now, I understand that there are a couple towing companies in/around Champaign that pretty much have the monopoly on the area - if your car is towed, there's nothing you can do but pay and get it back. But the employees at Andy's are downright rude. A friend of mine's car was towed the other day due to a misunderstanding - by an unfortunate stroke of luck, his phone was dead and was unable to call them to confim that they had his car, and to ask when he could pick it up. Needless to say, I called, and was treated EXTREMELY rudely by the man on the other end, who was acting as though I was inconveniencing him by calling. Ultimately, he said, "yeah, we've got it. you need to come get it soon 'cause all the windows are rolled down". My friend did not leave his windows rolled down. Later that evening, my friend called when he was on his way to pick it up, and the man who answered the phone stated, "LOOK, you've been having all kinds of people call here all day - call me one more time, and I'm charging you extra". Which is definitely not the case - that was the second phone call - just to let them know he'd be there in a minute. The man proceeded to yell at my friend and cut him off, saying to call him as soon as he gets there (even though my friend had stated he was only a block away). He called again one minute later, and the man said "I'll send someone over" and hung up. 30 minutes later, someone showed up, and my friend finally got his car back... but only after a $125 with another ~$100 in miscellaneous charges - and windows that an employee of Andy's Towing had rolled down. If you're going to take peoples' money, the least you can do is be pleasant. Never, never will I/anyone I know be dealing with Andy's again if it's anything within our control. read more

The clerk overcharged me with an administrative fee of 30$ and a 15$ "late fee". Offered no insight into what I was signing and what I was charged for. Very unprofessional setting. read more

My Nissan 350Z had a flat tire in Champaign and the guys at Andy's helped me out tremendously. They towed my low-riding car with great care and gave me a lift to the local tire shop at a very reasonable price. Won't go anywhere else for my future towing needs. read more

I discovered I had a flat but was not strong enough to remove the lug nuts myself. Andy's came over right away, removed the flat, and added the spare, all for a reasonable price. I had called around a few places, and they were the cheapest, but I'll be sure to use them again because of the quality of service. Awesome service! I was traveling from out of state, no clue where I was and locked up my rear differential. LeRoy came out and got my truck, got a ride for me, my 4 kids and my dog and has someone looking at my truck to get it fixed. Due to snow drifts, I spun out on a country road and ended up in a ditch. Andy's Towing came within an hour and drove me from a nearby gas station out to my car. The driver was nice and quickly had my car back on the road. Good service and fair price ($125) considering I had him drive out 8+ miles off of the interstate at night and in the snow. read more
