I'm a pretty simple cut and there's no where I'd rather go. Andy's is probably one of the most affordable barbershops you can go to in the area and expect more than a bad haircut. Barbers are very nice and professional. I got my wedding haircut done at Andy's and I'll continue to have it cut here. If you need a practical cut at a practical price, Andy's is the spot. read more

Andy is fantastic. He's always very friendly and polite and does an excellent job on my hair. Very consistent. Competitive pricing and very little waiting. read more

I started going to Andy's Ghetto Cuts years ago. Look I'm not clowning or disparaging the place. I love it as you can tell by the 5 stars. I've just always referred to it that way because it's a little hole in the wall place next to a Circle K. When I first started going haircuts for men were only 9 bucks! Now they're like $15. I ain't mad at em. It's reasonable. It's $22 at Great Clips. What I like is that Andy doesn't talk to me. Some people love to chat while having their hair cut. I hate small talk. I don't do chitchat. He knows what I want and they deliver it. Fast and silent. I timed it once. 6:15 seconds to get my hair cut. Snip snip. I pay and I'm out looking like all that and two bags of Funyuns. They do a good job. I moved across town several years ago and still drive across town to Andy's. They keep me looking this awesome. Awesomeness on sale for fifteen bucks. Can't beat it. read more

Without price even being a factor, this is one of the best haircuts I have ever had. (only $15!!) Andy is very friendly, quick, and efficient, while still showing very good attention to detail!! If you're sick of going to great clips or getting mid haircuts for $50 please give this place a shot. You will not be disappointed :) read more

Honestly Andy has been my go to guy for years! Fair priced shop and easy to work with. Support small business!

great cut, reasonable price! Andy is really chill, quiet, laid back vibes. bring cash because they dont take cards.

Been getting my haircut from Andy for years now he's my go-to guy. Wouldn't recommend any other barber in Sacramento he's a master at his craft. read more

Been many times to Andy's hair cuts and about time to leave a review. These guys are located in Carmichael at the corner of Manzanita and Auburn Blvd. not the best area of Carmichael but they do a great job at cutting hair. Never been disappointed with my son or daughters haircut. They're efficient and waiting time is 1-5 min even when they're super busy. Regular haircuts for men/kids usually cost about $10 and for girls/women around $12. Great prices for the haircut quality they offer. Here's my take: Service 5 Stars Quality 5 Stars Price 5 Stars read more

I wanted to submit a quick update and let everyone know that Andy is still the KING OF THE FADE!!! I have been coming to Andy's establishment for several years now and he has remained a MASTER of his craft. You are doing yourself a disservice if you don't pay this man and his associates a visit and get yourself cleaned up right and for a SUPER reasonable price! read more

Rude asfuck. Didn't wanna cut my 2 year olds hair.all he said was "to small" how is a kid ever to small for a haircut such losers. Gave me a disgusted look when I asked if he could, so unprofessional that's why it's crickets in there and no customers. Pathetic don't come here. read more

Such a great haircut place!!! So glad I took a chance on a new place!!! Haircuts cost $15, and they are so worth it. Thanks! read more

This place was horrible I asked for a Edgar mid taper fade and they got me out that place looking like a mushroom never coming back

I've been going to the same barber for years but this time he was on vacation out of the country and I needed a haircut badly for a party tonight. I heard good things about this place so I decided to give it a try but was unsure because I felt someone new would cut my hair wrong. Well let me tell you this place deserves more than 5 stars. Andy cut my hair better than my barber and did my beard a whole lot better!! I might have to ditch my regular barber and give my money to Andy from now on!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! read more

Andy is great! Affordable and friendly! He cut my son's hair into a different style that he really likes. Highly recommend Andy!

this will be my first Yelp review ever. I'll start by saying I've been to this place about 3 times and gotten my mohawk and beard done here and the 2 guys I've gotten have done really good clean work. then yesterday I came in and brought my partner with me just to get his beard cleaned up. he had a nice full long beard and we just wanted to clean up the stray hairs. he told the barber he that and specifically said he wants to keep the length of the beard. this guy cut off his whole beard ALL THE WAY DOWN!!! I hadn't even seen it till we were at our car and when I looked across I saw it and my heart sunk. not only did he cut the beard off the the hack jobs he did made him look like a muppet. my partner is devastated. he has been crying, he's depressed. he hates looking in the mirror. he loved his beard and it took him a long time to get it to that length. and this is just before all of our holiday events even though I liked my results from the other guys there I will not be returning here. read more

Went in for a haircut on a Sunday. Showed the older guy exactly what I wanted. He said okay. He kept cutting my hair shorter and shorter. I tried to tell him it wasn't even on both sides he wanted to argue and make one side higher. I stopped him and left. I won't go back. I had a horrible fade and the top of my head had a completely uneven cut. I had to find a different barber to fix it and even he said who screwed up your haircut. read more

Andy's Hair Cuts on Manzanita Avenue in Carmichael is outstanding. Andy is the go-to man for specialty cuts and styling. I have been going there for many years. Sure, it's a little hole in the wall, but it's been remodeled and is modern now. I always get an excellent haircut, and I must say, the prices are outstanding at Andy's. I have an adult son who is disabled. I have watched Andy and his staff with my son, and they always look out for him and treat him with respect and kindness, often coming outside to help him access the store. My son gets his hair cut at Andy's and his beard trimmed. The last beard trim was at least 25 minutes, with Andy's assistant paying close attention to what was needed. I recommend using Andy's Hair Cuts to men and women. He's also up on the latest styling haircuts for the younger generation--everyone respects Andy. Check him out. You will not be disappointed. read more

Andy's Hair Cuts has been a long time favorite of mine. I have been going there for quite some time now and I really appreciate the warm welcomes and meaningful conversations we have had throughout the years. I would definitely recommend this place to whomever is looking for a place where they give great haircuts and treat you like family. Go ahead and treat yourself to the wash after your haircut. This will have you feeling like a whole new person! read more

Andy is one of the hair styles who loves his job and takes it seriously. I been a costumer for about 15 years.

So, I was pumping gas by the neighborhood station and scanning the storefronts. I see Andy's Haircuts and noticed an Asian dude cutting. Hey, I'm Asian and he's Asian so he must know how to cut Asian hair. I decided today for a haircut. I walk in and there's White, Black and me. Andy handles all types of hair. I asked for a fade and got a pretty good one. Cut and wash was $13. Plus a good tip. I'm glad to have found a great barber close by. read more

My husband is an ex Marine- and I had grown to liking the fade cuts given on the military base. As now we are a long way from base, we had been seeking for quite sometime a new barber to cut his hair just the way that I love. Many places are not so good at fades actually, but Andy's is perfect! Not one time have I, nor my husband, left there unsatisfied. Super cheap- can't beat $8 plus tip. We go there every two weeks, and drive from North Natomas to make sure they cut his hair. Everyone there is very personable and easy to talk to. Will continue returning every two weeks as usual. Thanks guys for keeping my husband sexy for me ;) read more

I used to get my haircut next to my house around the corner. They are VERY pricey, but I couldn't find any other place that can cut my hair as I wanted, which is very very simple by the way, that is until my cousin referred me to Andy. They used to be at a different spot. So I went and checked it out. WOW... they did exactly what the other store did for less than half of the price. I was very impressed with the job they did. So when Andy moved and opened his own store about a year ago, I moved too. I have been getting my haircuts there ever since. He is excellent. I hear all the others are just as good, but I ask for him because I'm used to getting my haircut by him and he does a good job. He doesn't even ask me what I want anymore, that's how much I've been going there. Sometimes, it is good idea to call him first, because the place gets packed. If you go on week days and early, it is not busy at all. I recommend him over any other places I've been. I've been to Kings and Queens in south Sac. and New Episode which is around the corner for me... but I've not been there for long time now :) read more

Pros: -Price is amazing. -No 1 does a better skin fade in Sacramento Area. -Always clean & never too long of a wait. -Friendly Barbers/staff Cons: -Sometimes they don't answer the phone & that's a lil inconvenient, if my preferred barber isn't working -A lil odd to not face the mirror, but I trust my barber enough. Fixes: -They need a website -They need to make sure to answer the phone during business hours Conclusion: -Very minor cons & the pros outweigh them by a lot -Closest to a real old school Barber in this area. -Love NOT having to wait an hour for some women. So I just moved to California from Hawaii. I've been looking for a place to give seamless fades and a great faux hawk.. The price was insanely cheap for the service I got. It was only $8 for the hair cut. Great job guys. Super fast, super friendly service. This is my go to place from now on and I'd urge anyone else who likes to have great looking hair to do the same. Update - March 13th 2015 I'm sorry to say this but I had to lower the stars given because the service I recived at Libbees was so amazing I just couldn't keep you guys at 5 stars. The price at Libbees isn't that much more but the hair cut and professionalism was so much more. Not to say you guys aren't good because you are. Just that I needed to be honest with my star ratings so people know who's okay, good, and the best (see Libbees review) read more

Quick and clean! I walked in there right at 9am. Andy (or at least I think it was him) cut my hair and had no problem cutting my one year old sons hair! Both great haircuts and we were outta there by 9:30am. Best part about it is that he only charged me 10 bucks per cut. This place is awesome... Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the place was a little "ran down". Not enough to keep anyone out but enough to notice.. great barbershop tho! read more

I've been here 3 times. The reason that I come back is at the 1st and 2nd the young barbers did good jobs. But the third was horrible. The old man cut my hair I don't know his name his chair by cashier desk. The sides are uneven and the fade ( if you can call it a fade ) is very choppy and uneven. My neckline wasn't even straight. It was the worst fade I have gotten in my whole life , then I ended up shaving my head at home. I won't be going back. read more

Close, quick, and easy. Did a great job on pandemic mop of hair! Nice guys there too.

I had been going to Andy for about 13 years, I moved away and miss them so much. I've been trying places around my area now and I can't find a good barber to save my life. Andy was the best and Im contemplating moving back just to get a good hair cut. Thanks Andy, you're the best. read more

I have been getting a haircut here at Andys over 4 years now !!! I have been going to Andy for over a year. Found his place on Yelp after moving to Carmichael and looking for a place to get a haircut. Andy and his staff do great work, they are very fast and their pricing is extremely fair. It gets busy so I recommend arriving early. read more

You'd be hard pressed to get a better haircut at this price. It's my go-to in a pinch or on short notice. Don't frequent it as much because I feel like they have kind of an assembly line vibe where they are processing their customers in and out with very similar styles, but those cuts are still really good and beat most $25 haircuts I've paid for. read more
