After hearing good things about Andy's, I decided to check it out. I like that they have a drive thru and someone who will take your order after examining the menu. I went with the pretzel caramel crunch in a small which was a good mixture of salty and sweet. The staff were friendly and quick with my order. The small size was plenty for me and refreshing on a hot summer day. Andy's is expensive, so I look forward to checking out other frozen treats on the menu every once in awhile. read more

What a great stop on a HOT Texas summer night They have tons of options to add into your custard to make it your own.. We got a few ..One with M&M's and sprinkles One with Reese's One with Oreos I got one that was suggested by the employee that was a cheesecake and chocolate chip down the center . New and recently opened in Keller, I had high hopes for Andy's seasonal pumpkin offering. The sign, see picture, reads "Made with a whole slice." I don't know what size gets the"whole slice", but I don't think my large did. Maybe it's the quart size? The pumpkin pie flavor just wasn't as profound as I was expecting. I think it should have been topped with a shot of whipped cream. It wasn't. Also, at $6.84 for a large, it seems expensive. Not sure how many ounces are in a large, but a quart was only 60 cents more at $7.49. I was also disappointed with the limited seating. Outdoor only. Only benches. No tables. Also in the group was a Pretzel Caramel Crunch Concrete, a Strawa-Ana Sundae (with strawberries and banana) and Snowmonster Concrete. Those were enjoyed by all, perhaps because pumpkin expectations were not there. There is a drive through. Bottom line: First time here, probably the last. PS. I don't like mentioning other businesses in my reviews, but I found the Pumpkin Pie Blizzard at Dairy Queen far more satisfying. And it was topped with whipped cream! read more

Texans are spoiled. I've lived in 15 of our 50 states (plus 3 foreign countries) and Andy's is as good as it gets - anywhere. I've been to a few locations and they are great. On their worst day (a Jackhammer wasn't perfect or a Texas 2 Step needed more strawberries or fudge) Andy's is better than anywhere else in the US on a great day. I think this location is great and the staff is terrific. Talk "to" the the Andy's team and not "at" them and you'll never have a problem (here or pretty much anywhere). This is the 2nd Andy's in the area and its just as good as the other location on North Tarrant. There is something for everyone here to enjoy. Even when they are packed, the service has always been great and the ice cream always cold :0) I am personally a fan of the concretes and the ozark turtle. My ultimate favorite is the pumpkin pie concrete when it comes around once a year, so if you're a fan of pumpkin, make sure to grab one while you can. Absolutely love this place! Custard is great and toppings are always generous. Different sizes are perfect for families with different size appetites. And fast! If, if there is a car in front of us, someone comes out to take our order while we wait. But they get your stuff so quickly we rarely have to wait! Highly recommend the Ooey Gooey concrete, I can only handle a small, it's the perfect size for a full serving. So when I get an ice cream craving, I head straight to Andy's on Keller Parkway, and a nice bonus is the friendly staff, you stop and look at the menu, THEN pull around and you're greeted by a staff member that personally takes your order and can answer any questions without a loud speaker, I liked that aspect a lot! read more

I'm scrolling through Keller hot spots on Yelp and noticed Andy's is not being shown the love it deserves. My family frequents this location. They are spot-on every time with excellent service: quick and accurate. As pro custard eaters, we have found Andy's to be simply the best. Smooth, creamy... and addicting. When we lived in east Texas, we drove 45 minutes to Tyler to satisfy this perfectly made custard hankering. Now that it's near us, we have branched out of the regular raspberry concrete staple that is the most delectable. We often get hot fudge sundaes, the boot-daddy, and butter pecan concrete. Was about to walk away when a car came to the drive through and finally got someone's attention. Got a small, pricey, chocolate concrete for my daughter, the family's ice cream sommelier, and her comment was that was not her favorite and to my surprise did not finish. We love the product, but will not return to this location until there is adult supervision. At 9:40pm on a Friday night, we went for a treat. The teenager who took our order was snippy and rude, and as we were leaving (with many cars in line behind us and no one taking their orders) we could see five teens in a circle inside laughing and talking like they were at a party. We heard one saying the "f" word as we drove away. We come to Andy's often and always order the same thing... this time our "cup with chocolate and vanilla custard" was seriously barely 1/3 full. Whoever fulfilled our order did not care about their customer. To the owner/manager, unruly teenagers without adult supervision are not good for your business. PS... I sincerely hope management will reply. We always have the choice to go to the Grapevine location, but Keller is a little easier to get to. What pisses me off the most about kids running a fast food joint is the inability to understand that the product goes in the container, not around the container. Got a sundae and first touch got Carmel on my hand. Had to ask for a wipe to clean my hand. As I ate the sundae, notice more on the spoon. By the time I got halfway through it, the toppings were on the bottom. How hard is it to make a simple sundae with TOPPINGS?
