I mostly spoke with Matt who was refreshingly honest about Portland not being a big mecca of the modeling world. I decided to sign up my daughter and sent in some photos for their website. Puddletown does charge a small monthly fee (12.00) to have your child's photos on their site. No problem. You do pay one year in advance for this (144.00) but you can cancel if you want and get a refund for the remaining part of the year. We waited for a modeling job, but after 6 months we received exactly 0. ( I had started to notice they used the same girls pretty much for their few local ads they did) I didn't want to spend any more $ so I canceled. That was our experience..........

They go above and beyond the typical "agent" role to assure that the kids are happy and healthy by being mentors and "extended family." Since the acting/modeling industry is known for "eating its young," having their support, guidance and knowledge behind your child is invaluable. They don't sugar coat- we know Portland is not LA or NYC - but there is work here. The guys are very upfront and real about the fact that even though YOU may believe you have the most amazing, gorgeous, talented child in the world, the competition is fierce. Yet, they believe in their kids, and in turn, the kids believe in themselves and are booking jobs. It's a win-win. Incidentally, another reviewer said that she noticed "they used the same girls pretty much for their few local ads they did." This may be true, but PT doesn't cast. They submit. It is then up to the child to impress the client and land the job.
