Awesome comic store just off of Main Street in Sayerville. The store is decent sized and the young lady working there was very pleasant. They have a decent selection of mostly newer comics and toys as well. They did have some vintage Star Wars toys and some other vintage stuff too but they mostly have more recent comics and toys. I tried. I shopped at this store several times. I really wanted to like this place so I can continue to support local comic book shops. But, alas, I must pass on this establishment for the following reasons: 1-In my over 40 years of collecting, I noticed that successful comic shops on LI have a certain 'jenesequa'....a community-nerd appeal that is hard to define. They are a little dark, in bad areas and rough around the edges (in a good way). They have survived gentrification with just a few scars. They are a place where you can befriend other nerds and talk shop for hours about Mexican foils, Maria Wolf and MCU plot fails. Sayville comics is small, bright and meticulous, like your grandmas high-tea room after she cleaned. If comic book shops are an experience, this store is a brand new bright lime-green neon sign that everyone must stay 15 feet away from. This approach probably works in higher end towns that cater to professional parents buying the latest expensive toy craze on tic tock for their children. I prefer other shops with more room, seasoned staff and less ostentation. Awful parking. read more

Came back again, unlike other shops they don't hold comics for you to pick up, unless you pick up that day. Unfortunately, I can only do pick ups on weekends (new issues come out on Wednesday) so there goes that. Also, who puts new issues out on a Monday night just to tell people they can't buy them.... Makes no sense to me. Good shop but I won't go out of my way there again. read more

The owner Anthony and his employees are all comic book fans, so they make great recommendations and are always happy to chat about current happenings in the comic/movie/pop-culture world. The shop isn't huge, but it is packed full of comics - bins in the middle and releases and popular comics lining the side walls. They have a selection of trades and graphic novels, as well as a "kid section" with kid-friendly comics. They sell books from a number of comic book publishers, so chances are they have what you're looking for - create a pull list! Looking for POP vinyls and other fun comic-related collectibles? There's a lot of that too. Oh, and Android's is always very clean and organized. A very fun and friendly place to shop unlike some comic stores that are dingy and less decorated. They participate in Free Comic Book Day, Batman Day, other popular "holidays" in comic culture, as well as local events in the area. They also host signings so be on the lookout for announcements via social media and sign up for email updates. I'm not in the business of buying and selling comics, but I know they are willing to take a look at books and give you fair feedback if you have them. read more

Three cheers for an awesome comic book store! This shop is small, but packs a punch. Their Pop Vinyl section is huge, and they carry everything you'd hope a comic book shop would- toys, figures, posters, apparel, accessories, and of course- comics. They had the new releases I was looking for and a pretty decent selection of back issues. Definitely ask for what you're looking for- I wanted some older Archie comics, and he had some in the back! The store is very neat, and set up in a way that's easy to understand. The staff was very friendly and they get bonus points for playing really good music! There's also a frequent buyer program they offer that's pretty sweet. I was very happy with my shopping experience here! read more

Nice selection of newer stuff, but the kid working there (not the owner) won't even work with you on price of banged up books. Offered $20 on a book listed at $25 because of how banged up it was. He was like "absolutely not". Which is fine because there were better quality for the same price on eBay. However, with the amount of comic stores on Long Island, I'll spend my weekly comic budget elsewhere. Hope the $5 was worth losing the thousands in business over the next year. read more

Love the shop! Its so open and easy to walk around in and they have everything well organized. The older books are priced fairly and i learned that just because its on the wall by the register, doesnt mean its expensive!!! I would definately recommend going in!! read more
