He and his nurse, Lauren, took SO much time talking to me, showing me pictures, telling me about his practice, and explaining why his procedure was so unique. Lauren and Lindsay are warm, friendly, skilled professionals that aren't intimidating or uppity in any way. Such a different vibe than a previous doctor that I'd seen. Healing takes time and comes in phases, so I needed to be talked off the ledge a few times with a gentle reminder to just be patient. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Byun. He is an amazingly talented, detail oriented 'perfectionist' surgeon that performs cutting edge signature procedures that will no doubt be copied and become the norm in the plastic field. When I called to verify my new appointment, they told me I was never put in the system and that my appointment did not exist. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, they said I would have to pay an additional $50 fee before I could even schedule another appointment. Any attempt I made to explain what happened or reconcile the situation was immediately shut down with "as per our 24 hour policy..." despite the fact that I was never informed of that policy when I called to reschedule. I followed the instructions given to me by their staff and still ended up being penalized for something that was clearly not my fault. The way this situation was handled felt incredibly unfair and unprofessional. Patients should be very cautious when scheduling or rescheduling here because you may end up being charged for their internal errors.

She told me all i needed was a good med spa and, while she didn't know her personally, she was impressed with Dr. Amy Taub's work. I called to make an appointment and they told me she wasn't seeing new patients for at least the next year. Never deterred I called their other location in Lincolnshire and they fit me in for a consultation later that month. During the consultation I met with Dr. Taub's lovely and very informative assistant and then Dr. Taub herself. They gave a recommendation for filler (which I've always been afraid of, but figured worth a shot) and scheduled me in the Glencoe office for a few weeks later. Apparently she is only in Glencoe on Thursdays, which is why it can be tough to get an appointment there. Appointment day arrived. I was a little scared of the pain, but figured it couldn't be worse than childbirth. Thanks to Dr. Taub and her amazing staff it didn't hurt at all. They also blow cold air on your face during the process, which felt really good after being outside on a very hot day. I left a little sore with very minimal bruising...and could already notice a big difference within 5 minutes. Dr. Taub didn't use all the filler i had purchased because didn't think i needed it and said the under eye area is very sensitive, but scheduled me for a quick follow up next month to see if i needed more.
