At my first appointment, Dr. Z sat with my husband and me and walked us through everything: the reconstruction process, the surgical options, and every question I could think of. His calm, thorough approach immediately put me at ease and I felt very comfortable with him and knew I was going to be in good hands. Because I'd had radiation on my left breast 10 years earlier, he explained that a latissimus muscle flap would be needed to support an implant. Wanting the best symmetry possible, we chose to do bilateral latissimus flaps. Through every step--pre-ops, surgeries, recovery--Dr. Z, his surgical nurse Christy, and the entire staff were compassionate, attentive, and truly wonderful. I was told by one of the employees that they were having trouble with their laser machine and my appointment was changed twice due to the machine being repaired. I questioned why the laser was ice cold and I was told "a piece on the machine was replaced and when it's cold that means it's really working" that was a joke! I have zero improvement with my unwanted hair. I have a message m from the owner Jacquee who was super rude and I was very offended. From reading comments it appears she's reaching out to people behind the scenes when complaints are made. I told her as a business owner myself I would never be so callous and unprofessional especially when people such as myself is the reason her business is still around! One year and 3 treatments later, after following all instructions perfectly in addition to going above and beyond to be sure I was doing my part, my nail situation is worse, not one bit better. I was assured the entire time that I just needed to continue following instructions and scheduling appointments. No results. Now they're refusing a refund, stating that it's just a written guarantee that it works, meaning they'll continue treating at "no cost". I'd rather get that whopping $500 back for this bogus treatment then continue playing this game. Now I have to take Lamisil and risk my liver, or just live with this problem forever. Don't waste your money. I'm very disappointed.
