My only issue with the business is the front desk in Jenkintown: 9/10 times they are not friendly at all. Since it is required to pick up a prescription, in person, every 30 days for Absorica, I visited both offices on numerous occasions. During one visit at the Jenkintown Office, I was one day late on picking up my prescription (which was verified and OK'd by the doctor and receptionist 2 days before). When I arrived to pick up the script, it was not there and the older woman (I'm unsure of her name. She looks to be about 50, medium length brown hair and blue eyes) came to me and told me in a very rude and impatient manner that this is not how their system works and that I need to be more responsible. I kindly (seriously, I was) explained to her the situation and she denied my prescription and told me I had to wait one more month. Luckily, I saved a voicemail from the receptionist verifying that I could pick the script up a day late. The older woman was arguing with me up until I put the voicemail on speaker, then she said "oh." and walked away. Although I do understand that people have their off-days (and I'm sure this was one) I felt that this situation was highly inappropriate. I did not tell Dr. Tokarek about the incident, and decided that if it happens again I will bring it to his attention. Since then, I stopped going to the Jenkintown Office and made all of my appointments at Warminster. The staff there is VERY friendly and always on-point. Be sure to take your time with Dr.T and ask him any questions you have. Sometimes (esp. @ Jenkintown) he may appear to be preoccupied, due to the busy atmosphere of the location, but he is always listening and has a great sense of humor.

I told the Aesthetician that I had bad reactions to Botox, but she dismissed my remarks saying that they. my doctor (migraine protocol and muscular Botox for Myofascitis by a Neurologist) "They just did it in the wrong place" and disregarded that I did not want Botox, just filler along the lip line for wrinkles above the lip and maybe the lines next to my mouth. As she was doing shots in my face, she says as the needle is in my face, "just a little toxin". I ended up looking like Quasimodo or a monster (see first 3 pictures below). It cost me $1600+ for procedures I did NOT ask for and I DID NOT want and turned me into something grotesque. They refused to reimburse me for procedures later that I did not want nor ask for. I did not take pictures for over a week or more of myself because I could not look at myself. I also could not talk right, pronounce hard consonants, eat or drink because the water would just pour out of my mouth because I could not move my lips and my jaw, and I could not move my mouth or jaw to eat, drink or speak (= Botox). So, 3 of the pictures are the pictures from over a week or so after (less than the worst of it). I was told after the injections to come back in 2 weeks for them to finish. What! More money and work after over $1600? The last 3 pictures are from a week before the injections and at the time of a Zoom job interview and before they started to change my face into the disfigurement it became (...See the before and after pictures below). After 2 months I still find myself tripping over consonants and have to repeat them with very thoughtful pronunciations. I would not recommend Skin Smart.

I wound up with having to have one thing removed from my body and I'm a complete baby when it comes to anything like this.
