Don't go there. Very bad service. The guy doesn't care that you are his customer. Very rude also. Avoid as you can.

My sister and brother in law trick me to treat them out there because they were driving me to the airport. Anyway food is great here so I understand the pricing. Very tender meat. Unfortunately, I found most of the meats to be quite bland and lacking flavor. The beef ribs, on the other hand, were the complete opposite--they were way too salty. It felt like there wasn't much middle ground. I even tried adding hot sauce, hoping it would give the meat the kick I was looking for, but it still didn't do much for me. The surprise highlight of the meal was the chicken wings. They were incredibly tender and flavorful inside and out. I also really enjoyed the grilled pineapple--it was perfectly sweet and delicious. The salad bar was decent with a good selection, but nothing particularly memorable. One thing that really stood out, though, was the staff. They were amazing--friendly, attentive, and constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Their excellent service definitely made the experience more enjoyable. Overall, the experience didn't quite live up to my expectations, especially considering all the praise the restaurant gets. While I loved the chicken wings, grilled pineapple, and outstanding service, I wish the signature meats had more balanced seasoning and flavor. Given the price, I expected the quality and taste of the food to match the cost. For a premium dining experience, the food should leave you feeling completely satisfied, and unfortunately, it fell short of that for me.

The workers will always be coming by your table when you have your turn cards up. You can always ask the waiter for a particular meat as well. As expected, the meat was of very good quality. Expect the meat to be very savory as well. I recommend getting the roasted pineapple and the prime cuts. The side sauces were tasty as well. The salad bar had a variety of items, from veggies, cheeses to soups. I definitely would come here again.

The servers for the table came quickly taking our drink orders and we were off to the salad bar. The salad bar has lots of options from salads, vegetables, soups, and appetizers. I have been here multiple times and there were times in which the replenishment of a salad bar item took way too long I gave up and closed my check and left. This was after I even asked a few times. My favorite is the mango salad and the candied bacon. The mango is spot on. The candied bacon is good but could be better if it was all crispy. There is the card green red signalling to the servers with the food whether to stop at the table or not. When our card was green all the servers walked by frequently and quickly. When there was a time in which our card was red for awhile, a server would stop over and asked us if there was any menu item we would like to request specifically. When we mentioned the person would speak into their mic and soon a server would come with our request. The other Brazilian Steakhouse at Santana Row could learn about service from Galpao. The chicken options were dry. Most the beef items were cooked well. The lamb was cooked medium well which was over in my opinion. The pork rib is good, just beware fatty. The grilled pineapple was good too. Tried the garlic bread which is more a garlic cheese bread. It was tasty. The basic items for the table are the plantains, mashed potatoes, cheese popovers. The mashed potatoes were well made very smooth with lots of flavor. The popovers are a little thick so can be a little tough to chew. This place is not for everyday and not at the high price point. Definitely return for a special occasion.

They brought those out nice and toasted and they were delicious and cheesy on the inside. My acai bowl hit the spot - beautifully arranged with a great ratio of fresh fruit, granola, and chilled creamy acai with the flavor of peanut butter mixed in - it made for a sweet, yet healthy lunch. Matt had been talking about Brazilian steakhouse every time he saw something that reminded him remotely of Fogo de Chao, so I figured this opportunity might be of interest to him. Come to find out that the day after I make the reservation he asks if I'd be willing to go a Brazilian steakhouse for the long weekend, so I got to surprise him with the fact that I already had a reservation. I'm not the biggest fan of Fogo de Chao based on my prior experiences there. I do believe that I have been to a Show de Carnes location before and had another great experience, but also Show de Carnes's Memorial Day promotion was slightly better than Fogo's and I much preferred that their location was outside of the city even if on the other side of the bridge. I did have to call the morning of to delay our reservation slightly, but it was taken care of for us without hassle. We even got seated closer to the original reservation time when we ended up running early. There isn't much space to wait in the front lobby area especially on a packed night, but everything looks very upscale from the wine bottles on the wall to the crystals above the self-serve side buffet. As far as mandatory meats, I have a couple of personal rules when it comes to Brazilian steakhouse, including go light on the sides and only go for the beef. Picanha is my favorite, extra rare too, so I made myself a whole pincanha meat salad while probably giving the guy cutting the meat a good scare. The grilled pineapple is also a must, followed by the cheese and honey. Matt got a lot more variety but it takes a while for the guys to come around with meat that has already been sliced up some so I can get to the parts that I like. We got a papaya cream and passion fruit mousse for dessert, which we probably really didn't need but enjoyed thoroughly as we are both dessert people. As it was a busy night, it was not too easy to flag a server down. I saw picanhas skip our table left and right so I'm not sure there's an established route for them to bring the meat around. The staff did seem to work together with great teamwork, and someone always stopped by to make sure we had more water and our choice of sides. I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone that is a protein or all you can eat fan. The regular price per person is definitely steep in my humble opinion, but if you can catch a promo it'll be a great time. Also, don't choose between still or sparkling, ask for tap. I will not be getting got again next time.
